Donna - :rotfl: Breakfast made me laugh. Is it supposed to do that

The Mickey pancake did look a little strange, didn't it. Was supposed to be served as the Boatwright's kids meal.:confused3

Ashley:: Good luck with your appointment tomorrow and enjoy your IHOP pancakes!!;)

Nicole:: Wow!! Starting to work on Monday!! That's great!!!

My niece is here for a while tonight. My sister and BIL had to go to a funeral of a distant relative and Cassie didn't want to go.

Not much else going on here. I'm ready for the weekend!!!

I just checked out the menu on AllEars, it does look good. I want to try a Zebra Dome! I think they have them at Mara too, I'll have to get one.
I had Zebra Domes at Mara when me and Sis-in-law were there in January. They were pretty tasty.

I think I've told ya'll that my sister is a fashion merchandising major. We have a local morning show called Great Day Houston here, and her former instructor asked her if she would like to help them every once in a while picking out jewelry and clothes for upcoming segments. About 2 months ago she helped them pick out some jewelry and sat in the audience. Today she's actually going to be in a segment! They are going to curl her eyelashes! Which is funny because my sister has beautiful lashes! :rotfl: So I'm watching the show at work. If I can find a link, I'll post it later on.
Thats exciting!

well I wont have access to a computer after we leave so have a great weekend everyone!
xoxo
Have a great weekend!!!!

Lesa: The new furnace sounds much better than the old one, glad it's working well!

I just heard on the radio that Bon Jovi is coming to Kansas City -- I know what Santa's getting me for Christmas!! Oh, and Lyzzie too of course. This is a huge big deal because nobody EVER comes to Kansas City. We have a nice new arena now and it looks like entertainment is going to pick up quite a bit. The first act (I think) to play at the new center is Hannah Montana -- of course those tickets were way too expensive which is just crazy.

Some reps from Perkins restaurant just came by, there's a new one that just opened down the street and they dropped off 4 bags full of mini-muffins and cookies. Good thing too, because I skipped lunch so I could go buy pullups.
First, my very favorite singer is performing in Kansas City this weekend and only in KC! He isn't doing any concerts anywhere else! How can you say such a thing!!!!! Hehehe.

Second, I loooooove Perkins! I wish there were some in Texas. Now I want Perkins...

Coconut Cream
Chocolate Cream

YM....Maddie is wheezing up a storm. The nurse called yesterday because after 2 puffs on the albuterol she was still wheezing. Today she didn't go to school till almost 10. I gave her 3 back to back neb treatments and still she sounds bad. I sent her in high as a kite!:lmao: She couldn't even sit down for the last treatment, she was cheering, and dancing. :rotfl2: I have a call into the Dr. I hate that I have to wait for the nurse to call me back, then she has to talk to the DR, then call me back again, then I can make an appointment!:headache: Anyway, I think it's steroid time, and I think she should have an antibiotic, but I know that won't happen!

Sorry to hear about the back to back treatments...I feel for her and you. I'm getting the picture after three in a row.:cheer2: :yay: :cheer2: :yay: :cheer2: :yay: :cheer2:

The Dr gave Madison an antibiotic, I didn't even have to ask this time!:yay: She also put her on a new inhaler that she doesn't think my insurance covers :headache: but thinks it will work well for Madison. She did give me a months worth of sample, so at least I don't have to go pay for it and find out it doesn't work.

Good, I'm glad they gave her an antibiotic! Let me guess...is the inhaler symbicort? They put both my kids on that. It seems to work pretty well although DS still seems to get flares but they don't seem to get as bad. Hope it works well for her. My youngest, who I really didn't think he had asthma, has responded very well to it...he's out running and playing when he used to just go out but never did activities that required running.

Hey Donna...can't say that I blame your neice...nice that she has a place to hang out.:thumbsup2 So what's up this weekend...rest and relaxation?

I'm excited that I don't work tomorrow. As a matter of fact I'm only working two days the rest of the month.:woohoo:  :dance3: I normally only work two days a week but with holidays and vacation the rest of the month should be fun.:cool1:

Hey guys, keep the favorite pies coming!:cheer2: Maddie keeps having me check to see if anyone else has listed their favorite pies. She thinks this is too cool to ask a question on the computer and get a response!

That's it, Symbicort! I'm glad to hear it seems to work well for your DSs. The Dr didn't want to put her back on Advair because she gets too irritable, and she said this one should help her better. She has me pounding on her back just after a neb treatment, which really loosened her up. Note to self, do not do back pounding just after dinner (especially spaghetti):scared: . The Dr is trying really hard to keep her from having to take a steroid, so hopefully all this will help. So the Dr thinks both your DSs have asthma? Gosh I hope not! Britt outgrew hers by the time she was 8.

YM, that is my favorite pie recipe! I promise you will love it! (And if you don't you can pack it up and mail it my way!)

Do you guys want to do some sort of secret santa exchange this year along with cards?

That sounds like fun!:yay:

Have a good night guys! I have to get Maddie to bed and she wants me to read to her for a few minutes, then off to bed for me!

Eek...I'm not asking about the spaghetti.:teacher: I was very skeptical about younger DS having asthma because he doesn't show any signs other than tiredness and lack of activity. I thought his allergy Dr was just trying to pin the diagnosis on him unfairly. She had him do a lung function when he was sick and of course it was low. It has continued to show a little low. We just started him on the symbicort late summer and he's really a different kid as far as running and sports! Plus, his peak flow (that little at home meter reading) his gone up significantly. Do you do the peak flow at home? I think older DS has done pretty well with the symbicort. What strength is she taking. We have the 160/4.5. Younger DS takes 1 puff morning and evening (on a good day). Older son takes 2 puffs morning and 1 puff evening (on a good day).:rolleyes1 I can understand holding off on the steroid...talk about really going crazy. :jester: Not to mention we seem to have night-time issues too.:rolleyes1

Lin...I can promise that I won't need to mail it your way.:rolleyes1 I love coconut so much that I almost ordered gourmet coconut from some place in New York.:thumbsup2

I'm in for a secret santa exchange!

Out of those choices......My vote goes to Pumpkin......but ONLY during Thanksgiving & Christmas.....otherwise Apple....

but.....I like Banana Cream too.....

I vote for other- Pecan pie!

Lin- An exchange sounds like fun, but I am the worst at picking out gifts! I'm always worried that the person won't like what I get them.
