I have to go to the car dealership and pick up the paperwork for the title -- I kind of don't want to, because I know it's going to cost me more money. When you go to the title place to register or whatever they call it and get new tags, the fees are horrendous -- the guy said, "There will be a small fee, only around 3 or 4 hundred dollars." Oh, is that all?

Yesterday in the mail I got a certificate from Micro Warehouse for a free 2GB USB flash drive or 2GB memory card, which just happens to be the kind my camera uses. It was a tough choice, but I got the memory card. I have several, but you can never have too many! And 2GB -- just think of all the WDW pictures I could take next time!! And it really WAS free!

They've been irritating me lately and I don't really feel like having dinner with them right now, and I just went out for Chinese food last night so I don't want to spend more money on food if I don't have to. My savings is down to less than a month's worth of rent and it's really stressing me out!

Well I'm home now and happy to report that the Cruiser has been Disneyfied! I peeled my Mickey emblem off the old car but it had this rubber backing that didn't come off. I'll let my dad try to get that stuff off. I used some double-stick foam tape to stick it onto the Cruiser and it looks great! I put my Minnie head antenna topper on too, but the antenna must be skinnier than the old one because it's loose. I hope Minnie doesn't go flying off! Guess I'll just have to make a trip to TDS to see if they have any, oh shucks.

I'm glad I decided to stay home for dinner. My mom was here for 15 minutes and managed to piss me off about 6 times.

I just want to cry.

Oh, Amber. That is just not right, I'm so sorry you guys are having to go through this. Is moving an option for you guys? I hate what you guys are going through!

The place where I work is going to be screwed when we're gone. They are keeping a few people, but they are getting rid of the manager who does EVERYTHING. No one else knows how to run the business side of the company. One guy they are letting go is bad mouthing other employees, trying to get them to keep him.

Geez, what does he expect to accomplish by that? I hope you find something that will work for you!

I am so mad. I checked the MO public records to see what's up with Emma's dad's domestic violence/stalking case. The girl DROPPED THE CHARGES!! This is his MO -- he hides until it becomes too much of a pain in the rear and too expensive to pay a lawyer to keep postponing the court date, and hopes that the other person will eventually give up. So he gets away with all this crap and it isn't officially on his record because there was never a conviction. Dang it! I was hoping this would help the court system catch up with him and nab him for the child support nonpayment -- it's up to $6700 now. I wish my job had a legal plan like my old job did so I could hire my lawyer again (she was great!) and reopen the case, I'm sure she'd be able to think of some loophole to get him on. Oh well, I know at some point he WILL mess up again and WILL get caught. Emma will most likely never get her money but I just want him to have to pay, one way or another, for all the crimes he commits and gets away with and realize that he is hurting other real human people and it's not a big game and he's not winning.

I'm mad at the girl too, I don't even know who she is but it looks like she tried several times to have him served with a restraining order, and every time it came back non served, and then she just dropped the charges. Maybe she figures he has disappeared, or maybe she just couldn't keep going back to court only to be rescheduled again. I don't know. But it makes me mad and sad when I see women who are abused and just let it happen, and don't pursue any legal action and let the abuser go free to do it again to someone else.

Oh no! What a putz... I hope you and Emma get what you deserve someday!

Well, I almost had a nervous breakdown yesterday...actually, I think I did have a nervous breakdown. I just started freaking out about the show and my test coming up and running out of time, and not having any help with the tech stuff, etc.... Poor Chris, I just yelled and yelled...and he just took it. My husband is way to nice to me.

Lin: Calm down!! Everything will be ok, just tackle one problem at a time and do what you can about it, and delegate delegate delegate! And don't worry yourself to death (easier said than done!) because as I tell Lyzzie all the time, worrying won't help. I wish I could take my own advice! Just remember, this too will pass. You'll be fine! Glad you have Chris to take good care of you.

Speaking of Lyzzie, she just came out of her room to get her sleeping bag. She is going to sleep on the floor next to Emma's bed because Emma is in a phase where she is "scared" of every little noise at night. She's not really scared, she just likes the extra attention so she'll whine about it and say, "You need to take care of me." Lyzzie is such a good sister!

This evening Emma spied my camera sitting on the coffee table and said, "Can I take a picture?" I asked her what she wanted to take a picture of and she said, "The whole house!" So I followed her around as she took pictures of me, the tv, the cats, Lyzzie, her crayons, and things in her room. She does pretty good! She told me she wants her own camera and I said she has to ask Santa Claus. "Ok, let's call him so I can ask him!" So... I called my parents house and my dad answered the phone -- which is weird because he almost never answers -- and I said, "Oh hello SANTA CLAUS, Emma wants to ask you something." He caught on and she just got right on the phone and said, "Can you please bring me a camera because I need to take pictures of my stuff?" It was too cute! She's so excited that she talked to Santa on the phone, but she's disappointed because she forgot he only brings stuff for Xmas, and then she was asking me, "Is Christmas tonight? We need to get a Christmas tree!" Lyzzie, who still firmly believes, knew I didn't really call Santa and knew it was Poppy, even from the other room, just from the way I was talking and she thought it was pretty cute. I swore her to secrecy. My dad was pretty bewildered but played along nicely.

It is a sad, sad day in the Leffel house.

This evening, at approximatley 8:30PM Original Princess Face met her untimely death. She is survived by her loving mommy Sassy, aunt Minnie and her baby sister New Princess Face. She is preceded in death by Baby who met her demise by beheading in March of 2006. Original Princess Face was a much loved, but stinky, toy and will be sorely missed. She will buried alongside Baby on the dresser in a service to be held at 10:00PM. RIP ​

Too funny Lin!! You had me going for a minute there, I thought it was a puppy and I was horrified... then I kept reading. Whew! It's sad to think I may have played a small part in the demise of Original Princess Face - perhaps she would have been better taken care of had New Princess Face not made her sudden appearance.

Good fffffrrreeeeeeezing morning!!!

I knew I was holding off turning on the heat for a reason, the damn thing doesn't work!!!! I finally decided it was time to turn the furnace on (it is in the 20's after all ) and the darn thing only blows cold air! Thank goodness it's getting up to 37 today!

I just called a furnace place, they are coming this afternoon! It's $89 for them to walk in the door and then $25 for every 15 minutes! They are however giving me $20 off cleaning the furnace!

Dh says thank you for all the Birthday wishes!
