Enjoy your book...what a great tip. Do you get any other cool tips (other than moeny)? I'm always trying to think of neat things for the kids MD or others that provide us with good service. I always try to give my eye brow lady (what was that word you used...esthecian) a good tip.

YM, the Ambien works like a dream for me. (Pun very much intended, go ahead & groan.) It works by knocking out your short term memory & helping your brain relax. Basically you can't hold a thought in your silly head long enough to obsess on anything & keep you from sleeping. I don't take it every night, but guaranteed when I do I will sleep like a rock and my eyes will pop open bright & shiny exactly 7.5 hours later. With all the house nonsense, the upcoming birthday & WDW trip, plus all the stuff I've been dealing with at work, it really is a lifesaver. I just asked my dr. for a sample and hello restful nights! Also, I've found that 1/2 a pill works just as good as a whole one, with NO morning grogginess. It really helps stretch the almighty dollar.
WARNING: Do not wash down Ambien with a wine cooler, even if it is the only drink in your fridge!! It WILL cause the words on your computer monitor to hop right off and begin marching across the room in mid-air! ...um... or so I've heard.

lyzziesmom....thanks for the describing the Ambien (with and without the wine cooler ). Really it does sound like something that could be useful...sometimes I can not get the mind to turn off so I'm glad you elaborated on that part. Last night we heard a name on the news of someone that we knew (but not very well) that was killed in a motorcycle accident...his name kept playing over and over and over in my mind when I was trying to go to sleep. Anyway... you can insert whatever event in there(my mind that is ) but it's hard for me to turn it off.

I figured the best way to celebrate was to think of the WORST place on earth and go there for my birthday, throw in the fact I am terrified of all dentists event to just get my teeth cleaned and figured this will be the worst b-day ever. That way next year it will seem like the best birthday ever! Actually I am starting a new job on the following Monday and wanted to get this taken care of before that. Had to laugh at your quote though. Thanks for the happy early birthday.

Ouch...that is a painful way to spend your bday. Hope you are feeling ok on Monday for your new job.

Coffee is ready and internet is going srong!!! Hope everyone has a wonderful day today. Hey, it's not Monday any more. I mentoned last night my guys are coming home today!!! I have had enough "Me" time for awhile!!!

Thursday is Dh's birthday. I will not reveal how old he will be, just that he robbed the cradle when he married me!! 11 more days until our trip to Orlando!! We will be staying at the Doubletree Suites in DTD. We like the extra room at a price we can afford. The bus service is not so good, we usually just drive to the parks!!! If we had older kids that wanted to get out to the parks on their own, I think we would definitely stay on property. I have noticed quite a few of you are DVC owners!!! I always wanted to own DVC, but DH keeps laughing at me, too many priorities right now!!

2xcited2slp I got the recipies from my stepson... his mom actually printed tons off the internet and he made a book of them. I'm going to scan more too... like the blooming onion and coconut shrimp from Outback... Boston Market Chicken, KFC chicken, Red Lobster cheddar bay biscuits...all kinds of good ones!

Ashley, so sorry to hear about yorkie!! my ex inlaws have a yorkie. They're so adorable. She got attacked by the neighbors german shephard and about killed her...but she is ok now. She just loves attention

Donna hope your ds and dh get home safely today. I'm sure you'll sleep better tonight knowing they're home! I bet you're ready for your trip!!! I've never stayed at the DoubleTree in Orlando but I love them. The cookies...yummm! Very nice places for sure. Happy early B-day to your dh. Your dh robbed the cradle too well...I'm 29 and dh's b-day is today...he's 45!! No biggie. It isn't the age, its how they treat us

Today dh is 45 He's taking ds5 up to his best friends house and let him go for a horse ride scares me to death!!

Anyway, last night he came in here on the computer to check his email (I guess) and I hear, "Oh, that would suck!" rather loudly. So I walked in to see what would be so horrible and he then relays your story to me. -----I'm not laughing at your story but it's just funny that I though he didn't read the dis but I guess I left my page up and he just started reading?

DznyFan , very cool about the license plate at OKW. I will have to look for it the next time we stay there. OKW is the only place we've stayed since owning DVC. The next time we do get to go, I'd like to branch out and try Boardwalk.

lyzziesmom, very accurate description of Ambien. My DH used to work nights and I could not sleep if I knew I was home alone (See above posts) so the doctor prescribed Ambien. Well, one night even though I was getting groggy and feeling weird I couldn't fall asleep but I did however start halucinating. I walked into the bathroom where DH was taking a shower and we had plexiglass shower doors that had some weird design in them of ovals and swirls (imagine 1970's decor). Well, when the water was hitting the swirls and ovals I could have sworn a woman was in the shower with him! Then I managed to go back into bed and the closet was at the foot of our bed. My travel bag was on the top shelf and I swore the handles were moving like a snake. I screamed and DH jumped out of the shower trying to get to me. It was a mess!! But, when it worked, it worked like a dream.

Ashley - good to hear you got a good night's sleep. I suffer from insomnia, so I know how much a bad night (or several) can really ruin ya. Also I'm sorry to hear the sad news about the yorkie. It's amazing how our furry kids are as much a part of the family as the human ones.

Your Majesty - Oh, I'm so sorry - you're going to roast in Driller Stadium tonight! Hopefully you'll be sitting on the west side in the shade. I saw that Lyzziesmom had mentioned Ambien - I second that it is a wonderful thing. And also agree on the 1/2 pill dosage - but don't take it too early or you'll be zzzzzz on the couch.

LindaKMonty - happy birthday to DH!

And DonnaLeah - hopefully you can get some sleep soon, too... Don't want to be too exhausted for that trip in 11 days!!

Lizziesmom - I wound up watching the whole thing of High School Musical, then when my DD got home, DH told her I sat and watched the whole thing, and was singing the songs along with it Really I wasn't... "Soarin...."
DD says she thinks there's subliminal messages in it, which is why everyone is so hooked on it. God I love her sense of humor.

Thanks everyone for your sympathy regarding Missy (my grandparents Yorkie). I'm still pretty sad about it, but she had congestive heart failure and was suffering pretty bad. I'm glad she isn't feeling pain anymore. I love this thread.

April, that cake is adorable!! The Cinderella cake is gone. My mom kept all but one piece. Then, everyone there ate it. As for the Winnie the Pooh cake, well I have no idea how I am going to eat all of it. I think I'm going to bring some of it into work. I am just starting to workout (pilates), so this cake is not helping my weight loss.

I try to avoid anything remotely controversial on the CB! I am afraid of getting flamed! I guess that's why I was never in a clique. No one knew who I was! Other than here I mainly am on the theme park and restaurant board, but even those have some kind of controversy now and then!

Oh, and I read that you only stay at OKW - I knew I recognized that background in your pic! I love that resort. We've stayed at BWV once, but it was too 'hotely' for DH. I really liked it though - we were on the 5th floor overlooking the boardwalk, and it was beautiful to wake up in the morning with my coffee and the sunrise. Fun to be able to watch Illuminations from the balcony, too. Oh, to be there this morning, instead of at my desk....
