I really like this thread and all the grilling advice.

Now, can anyone else return the favor with a picture of the BCV grills?

Thanks! I think I asked that back when because in Oct, 2013 we had planned a potluck grilling for a Saturday night during our stay. We ended up having half a dozen DISers and their families participating. I appreciate your late response.

Can I ask what the cleaning etiquette is? Grew up using charcoal grills...no idea how we are supposed to deal with the leftover ash (not to mention the time to let it cool). Do we just leave it for the maintenance staff to clean?

I'm pretty sure they have been converted to gas. And people who were grilling told me that the front desk had grilling tools (convenient for grilling at the grills in back of the Lodge).

They also left some charcoal grills around the resort.

I am at beach club now. We asked about grillkit in the lobby but noone knew there were any grills on property. Even told me they were removed years ago. So I told them I bought charcoal, had my own grill utensils and just wanted them to know that I was intending to use them and i would appreciate if they came and clean the grills afterwards. We have used the grill several times now and the staff take care of them and cleans them afterwards.
I bought meat from walmart at turkey lake and vineland Rd. Both were great but target had the best meat selections (withthe same price). Target was almost dead compared with walmart. A famous swedish business magazine recommends today to buy stocks in target. I wouldnt.
We have a studio at beachclub with a big fridge. Its great. Dont remember if all disney hotels studio has big fridges like this? The only thing I can complain about is that the room is next to the elevetor (525) so we can hear the elevator go up and down. I recommend and will ask for a room with epcotview or poolviewnext time

They are still there (charcoal) and are still located next to the river and the dunes swimmingpool ! They have tables next to iit. Its was very relaxing to grill while spending quaility time with the family.

Good to know! We had a great time grilling out there with a bunch of folks from the DIS, we had a potluck and it was super fun. Glad that is still an option!

The old charcoal grills at Fort wilderness made me nervous when we grilled hot dogs and hamburgers… I was sure we would burn down the entire Fort because of the pine needles used on the grounds . I guess they are still the old charcoal grills with the new Cabins . They definitely have crew that comes around to clean . The amount of housekeeping this location requires is no surprise for the DVC high maintenance dues ! And they all work very hard to maintain property.
I guess I just assumed all DVC provided grills. But StandisW is correct I don’t think I have ever seen any at Riviera.
