Ash----I've had that pretzel salad before and it IS yummy!!!! Just the right contrast of sweet and salty. I love that you have it as a tradition.
I think it was you who was talking about a Canon S5???? I got one during the summer for my trip and I really love it. I'll have to post some pics when my computer is up to it.

Do you recommend the S5? I'm alittle apprehensive about buying it because its one we want to have for awhile but I've heard its a great camera...Is it user friendly?? Was it a pain to schlep it all over WDW?? I want a 'point and shoot' camera but with a better zoom and better night pics....I saw that thread on the Photography board about the S3 and it seems confusing

well I actually went up to the store again with my mom, she needed a few things, and I DIDNT get the pecan pie. oh well maybe when we get up to gainesville, since we are doing our dinner tomorrow, I can pick one up on the way to our friends house!
I hung out with my sisters ( all 3 of them!) for a while and now I am ALMOST packed. shhh dont tell DH I am supposed to be done! but he wont be home for another hour! lol hope everyone's turkeys come out ok! when I make one, I stick butter between the meat and the skin. yum! also I put it in a pan with chicken broth, and add carrots and potatos to the broth, they come out so yummy. I am getting hungry~gotta run!

We ended up having some pretty bad pizza for dinner because I decided I didn't want to spend any more money, and my mom brought this pizza over the other day. Blecch! But we did the "what I'm thankful for" thing and the results are in:

I am thankful for my children, my life and my friends.
Lyzzie is thankful for her friends, her pets and her family. Probably in that order.
Emma is thankful for pizza, school and her jetpack.

Marble Slab is open (I learned last week as the Diva wanted Marble Slab after one of her shows) just closed for Thanksgiving. I wasn't surprised.... just disappointed.

Well we just had our 'Thanksgiving'! I cooked a ham steak with some butter and brown sugar and it was very good and sweet, and I made some homemade mac and cheese that was tasty. Now I'm making the pretzel salad!!!

I'm sad we didn't have turkey or mashed potatoes, but there is always Christmas where we will be with family! I've been craving my Grandma's mashed potatoes & gravy ALL DAY!!!
