Funny turkey story..........


Dh was helping me "dress" the bird this morning. I stuffed it while he held on to it. I don't touch dead bird! Anyway....I told him since his hands were already touching the bird, he got to massage it. I turned to get the spices and butter out and when I turned around......he was massaging the bird! OMG I was laughing so hard! He couldn't figure out why I was laughing. I told him he was supposed to massage the butter and spice in.

Hey!!! Don't you know you have to give us men SPECIFIC DETAILS????

I am feeling better. Still alittle bit of a cold but nothing bad! I don't think I answered you before about the topamax, I am off that now (Thank God!) That medicine made me feel so bad- nausea, horrible back pains, HORRIBLE stomach pains, the usual acting stupid stuff, even some depression problems where I was crying hysterically and had no reason to (poor Jeremiah!!!)..That all stopped within a couple days of stopping the topamax....my neurologist put me on some new medicine but I actually haven't started it yet- my headaches have really improved (I only have about 1 a day now) and I don't want to be on something that isn't REALLY necessary...he left it up to me if I want to be on it, so we'll see. You can't take it while taking cold medicine so I can still start it later on.

Lyzziesmom, the elfing of Dusty had me laughing out loud! Those are so much fun!

Well, we just had some white turkey chili for dinner with the leftover turkey from lunch, and I just had a piece of my butter coconut pie. Yummy. We have been decorating my parents Christmas tree and are watching Harry Potter on TV.

I'm letting the kids stay up WAY past their bedtime tonight (mostly in hopes I can sleep in tomorrow) and they are crawling around pretending to be cats with yarn tails tied around their waists. The amount of yowling in this house could pierce one's eardrums! We're going to have some strawberry smoothies and then it's off to bed for them, and maybe a little wine for me. It is a holiday, after all.

I'm sorry the topamax didn't work for you! Most people that I have talked to say they have given up on it because of the same thing. The side affects are worse than the headaches! Did you ever ask him about the Axert? I find it works well and it's something I only take when I need it. Like I said tho it can come with an expensive co-pay because it's pretty expensive to begin with. I pay $50 for 10 pills. I didn't see anything in the ads for tomorrow, so I'm sleeping in.

Lesa, I didn't ask about that pill, I do take Imitrex though, and it sounds like you get more with your pill than mine!! I got 6 for $55 with insurance!! It seems to work when I have a migraine- but I'm hesistant to take it unless its really bad because they are so expensive! I take fiorcet for the minor headaches and they work if I take 1 or 2.
