Hey Lyzziesmom!! Glad you had a good day, even if it was expensive. I really want to see Enchanted!!!
I'll post the recipe for the pretzel salad, but I'm not sure if you'll like it! It sounds weird, but tastes really yummy....My Mom and Grandma have been making it for me for as long as I can remember!!
Pretzel Salad
2 c. crushed pretzel sticks
3/4 c. melted butter
3 tbsp. sugar
8 oz. cream cheese
1 c. sugar
8 oz. Cool Whip
1 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jello
2 c. boiling water
2 (10 oz.) pkgs. frozen strawberries, partially thawed
Mix first three ingredients and press in bottom of a 9"x13" pan. Bake at 350 degrees (metal pan) or 325 degrees (glass pan) 8 minutes.
Let cool completely.
Beat 1 cup sugar and cream cheese.
Fold in Cool Whip.
Spread over pretzels.
Mix Jello and water until dissolved. Add strawberries. Stir into Jello, then set aside for 10 minutes.
Pour over cheese mixture. Chill.

Last year on Black Friday we got 800 thread count, I guess we are movin' on up!!! I even have Jeremiah spoiled now.

They talked for almost the entire plane ride! So I'm glad he was entertained. We landed and headed over the the ME desk and then waited on the bus for a while before we finally headed on over to AKL. The resort is beautiful! Once there, I checked us in and Steven headed to Zawadi Marketplace because he forgot his toothbrush.
We got a upgrade to a Savannah view room!
We headed on to our room and the first thing we did was see if any animals were out in the savannah. There were 2 giraffes in the distance.
I'm starting to worry that maybe I didn't get in. Wednesday will be the 2 week mark from my interview, so I guess on Friday if I haven't heard anything yet, I'll send an email to the representative.
I told her I just needed a break.
That little stinker!!
Can you believe my DS...how dare he make me look bad to MOM.
I just went next door to get DS because he hurt his ankle. I think I just mentioned in a post earlier today about him rolling this ankle frequently. I had to give him a piggy-back ride home. Hopefully he will be able to put some weight on it after some ice.
They said that even tho the the INS said it will pay, they won't unless they know they will see significant improvement. What the heck!!!
Now I can't do anything till next week because of the holidays and then we will hit the Christmas holiday and even more delays.
Why is it so impossible to get a child the help they need? I just don't get it, this system sucks, and the no child left behind is a bunch of BS!!! Sorry, I just needed to vent a little.
I'm sure you will work it out. It will just take time!
I will post the pictures as soon as I get the disc back. The crazy part...
-----for someone to come in and check phone lines, etc. and everything else that is involved with setting things up. (is this a big deal, or am I just hearing horror stories??

I don't think we dropped below freezing. Yes, DS has weak ankles and flat feet.
We need to do lunch soon!
