This morning I took a peek at Lyzzie's report card, and the results of her MAP testing. The girl is a genius! 2nd grade and she's reading on a 10th grade level, and doing math on a 4th grade level. I am SO proud of her. I'll have to think of something special to do with/for her to celebrate. Hmmmm, maybe I can convince Mom to watch Emma so I can take Lyzzie to see POTC3.

Apparently, I am a walking fashion faux paux. And for this, I hang my head in shame.

I was reading the "Worst fashion no no" thread, and I am a violator.....

I wear sneakers - or tennis shoes or gym shoes or whatever you call them - with my jeans. (need a hang my head in shame smiley)

I am just a simple country boy.........I don't know no better........

I use to not. Actually, when I met my ex, I didn't even own a pr. of tennis shoes but working in phone offices, you just have to. Now, I'm in the office but it is VERY casual. I have jeans and a polo shirt on w/my tennies

Me too Pozey! My outfit everyday consists of jeans, a t-shirt and tennies or flip flops during the summer. I feel so unfashionable.

My work attire is very casual. Jeans, a polo shirt (usually Disney), and sneakers. On days that we may have clients in the office or any other visitors, Docker-style pants, polo shirt, and no tennis shoes.

Outside of work, jeans (or jean shorts), T-Shirt (usually Disney), and sneakers.

If we go out to dinner, then I trade the T-Shirt in for a polo shirt (usuall Disney). But I will still be wearing jeans (or shorts) and sneakers.

That is so funny - you just described my DH's attire to a 'T'.

What kind of shoes are men supposed to wear with jeans, if not sneakers? The only other thing I can think of that MIGHT look okay would be cowboy boots, and even then only if you are on a horse, about to get on a horse, or just got off of a horse.

Not really sure though. Mike always wears tennis shoes, but hardly ever jeans. He prefers khaki's and a Disney polo. I guess he is a fashion nightmare.
