There's just nothing you can say to or do about people with that kind of high-and-mighty attitude. She is going to be right no matter what, and if she's wrong, then you're an idiot and she is leaving. In an online setting like this, it's almost laughable. In real life, it's just sad.

This reminds me, here in a upscale part of town, there is a guy who painted his house purple and yellow, because he was going to build his house one way and was about to start building and some people told him he couldn't build his home like that, so he had to change everything and to get back at them painted his house purple and yellow. People have offered him way more than the house is worth just to get him out of there, but he won't sell it!

Yes, I know what you mean; I posted smart remarks on a thread from a guy I really dislike. I don't think anyone knew what I was saying. But I'm sure he did. It made me feel better, just for a minute. Because he will not change just because I don't like his behavior. I hope this person doesn't get to you, be HAPPY...

You're kidding oh please!!! I know I've seen that screenname around but don't pay much attention I guess. I mostly come to this thread and up to the cruise forum...but I've had words w/a few on here there are always a few that think they know all there is to know about everything

I left work at 3 for Kennys game at 5:15... Mike calls me at 4, I'm almost home...to tell me his game was cancelled bummer!!!! but it was nice to be home early!

pozey, if your neighbor lived next to my mom, she would be over there cutting the grass. She has done that to neighbors before. She hates an unmanicured lawn, so she will offer to clean it up (no one has ever turned her down. I guess they save money on a landscaper).



I am not going to let that poster (or any others) bother me; it is just not worth fighting with someone over the internet. Now, I just need to remember that in the future.

Oh, I just won $12! It was just a scratch off, but it's still something. I never get lottery tickets so I was pretty happy to have won. I did buy a Powerball ticket with some of my winnings. Now, to win the 43 million...

Boy a chatty bunch!

Hi everyone!!!!

This weekend we went and purchased a new comforter cover, curtains/curtain rod, and a bedskirt for the bedroom!! We rearranged all the furniture so it looks totally different. I wanted a duvet/comforter cover just because I love my down comforter and didn't want to get rid of it...but since it's pure white I'm alittle paranoid about stuff getting on it So to keep it nice I just got the cover and everyone is happy!!! I'm really enjoying it, except the down blanket inside the duvet keeps bunching up Anybody know how to fix that??

I don't sew, so try some safety pins on the inside corners.

Mike just called and said Kenny is in TROUBLE!!! He's not allowed to take $ to school, of coarse well, he snuck $2 into his backback and apparently bought a bic pen from some kid on the bus w/it and wrote all over his hands and had cat whiskers on his face when he got off the bus I know its wrong, but it's still funny! He's losing his wallet and his tv til school is out.

I'm sorry but...... That is just too funny!

I took Maddie to the drs appointment for her PFT test. I would have definitely been lost without the GPS, it was an hour away. Then we had lunch with DH. I decided by the time I got her back to school it wasn't worth it, she would have only made it to her health class, so we went to Target instead. Then about 5:30 the nurse at the office called and said the DR wanted to see Madison tonight about her tests and check her medicine. Mind you Madison has been fine the last month or so, but the way they made it sound was as if she was about to take her last breath. So, o.k. fine, I tell her we'll be there at 6:45. They measured her and weighed her (like she had changed since this morning) then the nurse comes in to take the same info she has taken the last 20x we have been in the office. The doctor talked forever, then the nurse was coming back into the room to show Madison for the 100th time how to use her inhaler, by then the electricity went out and the whole office went dark. By that time it was 8:30 we were tired, we hadn't eaten dinner and we are standing in the dark with the nurse still showing Madison how to do the inhaler. Now the dr wants to send her back in 6 week to recheck her PFT test. {Big sigh}

Anyway, I still have a book to type up and I am just getting my dinner, so everyone have a great night!

Hey Pozey.... I think I've got that spring crud cold going around. I sat out in the cool wind last night watching DS's baseball game and that didn't help. We have baseball every night this week to get all the make up games in. I didn't go tonight but DS was excited when he got home...then won by one run. Are you getting your games in this week?

Hey Lesa...DS just did a PFT on Monday. The one DS does is computerized. You blow through a tube and they measure the % of large and small airways. Then they give him albuterol and wait 15 minutes and repeat. I'll have to PM you and we can compare notes.

Lyzziesmom, my entire household was in shock, angry, you name it. No, that was not what we were expecting, either. I have a good guess as to who will win, and although that person is very good, they lack stage presence and personality on stage. JMO, but boring to watch. I did like seeing Maroon 5.

Hope you get to feeling better soon. I've had this allergy crap for weeks and it's driving me crazy. I've been taking Claritin and everything...but you still feel like crud. yay for your ds win! I went to the Dr.'s office yesterday afternoon to get a document "signed off" on for diving - I have an old herniated disc (not that my discs are old, I've had the problem for a while) issue that needed medical approval. It doesn't really bother me most of the time. She's hesitant to approve, meanwhile, she decides to give me a good looking-over, and I have an EAR INFECTION! Both ears! I guess it's left over from the crud I had a couple weeks ago. I just wanted to cry - that kind of nixes diving, and I've got my pool sessions this Sunday, and cert sessions next weekend, then Disney on the 8th! I got my antibiotic and steroids, though, and I'm going to cautiously attend the pool sessions - hoping the antibiotic cleared them up enough. Yeah, I'm a little on the stubborn side.

you're not old!!! hope you get rid of the ear infections soon!!! You're not alone being stubborn. I thought I could be stubborn sometimes...but Mike has me beat by a long shot Hopefully the drugs will do the trick before your trip!!!
