Did anyone catch on AI last night, before they went to a commercial break (I think it was after they showed Blake's "home visit" segment) when Ryan said something like, "Coming up next, Maroon 5 plays and Melinda goes home!" I took me a minute to realize he meant they would show her segment of her visit home, but the look on her face was hilarious, like he was accidentally announcing the results. I had to rewind it and watch it again, I thought I heard wrong!

It's a beautiful Thursday here, the only things that could make it better would be if I didn't have to be cooped up in the office, and if I could be there in person to eat those waffles! It's always been a dream of mine to visit France, and now that they have a Disneyland I'm even more determined to make it there someday. Hey Amber, hows about a little jaunt to Paree if you hit that Powerball?

Hey Pozey.... I think I've got that spring crud cold going around. I sat out in the cool wind last night watching DS's baseball game and that didn't help.

Sorry to hear you haven't been feeling well. Hope you start feeling better soon.

We have baseball every night this week to get all the make up games in. I didn't go tonight but DS was excited when he got home...then won by one run. Are you getting your games in this week?

We have 2 rain out games yet to make up. But the league hasn't called me yet to reschedule them. We don't play again until Friday.

oh hey...I guess that wasn't fountain grass in your neighbors yard.

I went to the Dr.'s office yesterday afternoon to get a document "signed off" on for diving - I have an old herniated disc (not that my discs are old, I've had the problem for a while) issue that needed medical approval. It doesn't really bother me most of the time. She's hesitant to approve, meanwhile, she decides to give me a good looking-over, and I have an EAR INFECTION! Both ears! I guess it's left over from the crud I had a couple weeks ago. I just wanted to cry - that kind of nixes diving, and I've got my pool sessions this Sunday, and cert sessions next weekend, then Disney on the 8th! I got my antibiotic and steroids, though, and I'm going to cautiously attend the pool sessions - hoping the antibiotic cleared them up enough. Yeah, I'm a little on the stubborn side.

DznyFan........I am so sorry to hear about your ear infections! That sucks big time!! Hopefully the antibiotics will work quickly!

Yeah, I found that out the hard way - she stealth-photographed us! We did get a cool little mini-photopass card on a wrist bungee though, and we used it the rest of our trip. So handy! Almost worth the sneaky swimsuit picture.

Hi everyone!!!

The weather is absolutely gorgeous today!! Not too cold, not too hot!! I wish it would be like this everyday.

I think Ruby might have a little cold. She sounds very congested (even for a pug!!). I'm wondering if it has to do with the bordetella vaccination she got when she was boarded. If she isn't better by this weekend I'm going to take her to the vet. Last night she felt alittle warm but she doesn't today. I ran a really warm shower in the bathroom and the steam seemed to help alittle!!


Last night Jeremiah & I watched the movie Hollywoodland with Ben Affleck and Diane Lane. I thought it was so sad!!!!

Lyzziesmom, my entire household was in shock, angry, you name it. No, that was not what we were expecting, either. I have a good guess as to who will win, and although that person is very good, they lack stage presence and personality on stage. JMO, but boring to watch. I did like seeing Maroon 5 - Erin had just played me their new song earlier in the evening - I'm a fan of the band.

It's funny, I have the same opinion about Melinda...I thought she lacked personality big time.. I'm happy with the final two. Honestly, I think this season of American Idol has been pretty bad. I dont' really care who wins the finale, but I think they got it right for that final 3. I love Maroon 5 too! Hope your ear infection gets better.

Good evening cliqueless DISers! We had a busy afternoon today, we went to Petco and I dropped another $30 on the darn free mouse. We got him an "expansion kit" for his cage - a plastic wheel that fits on the outside, plus what they call an outhouse which is really just a little room that goes above the cage and he has to crawl up a tube to get there. He loves to climb so once he discovers it I think he'll like it. I feel bad because mice are very social and I think he's lonely here alone all day - but I don't feel bad enough to get him any company! Then we went to the dollar store because Lyzzie likes it, and then we had to go pick up hamburger buns for the Girl Scout year-end cookout tomorrow. The funny part is, we don't even like hamburgers! We stopped at KFC which turned out to be a total waste. The chicken was so wet I couldn't eat it. I think they inject them with water to make them more moist and plump, but it was just watery and gross.

Ashley: sorry to hear about Ruby's cold. I hope she feels better soon! We had a perfect day today here too - not hot and not cold. It was so hard to go back to work after lunch! Yesterday Lyzzie did her homework outside on the porch, it was so nice. I hope the trend continues this weekend when we go to Worlds of Fun! You'd think I'd be worn out from WDW, but I'm ready to ride the big coasters!!

DznyFan: that's crazy that you didn't even know you had ear infections! I've thought I had them and it turned out to be just sinus crud. I've been lucky that my kids don't really get them - well Lyzzie did once and we were both so miserable.

I think I mentioned this yesterday but I can't remember and don't want to look for it - my brother got through his knee replacement yesterday and they expect to keep him for only a few more days. They didn't even put him out for it!! I would have insisted... heck I had to be put out for a tooth extraction. Emma keeps talking about Uncle Steve's new knee - I can just imagine her thinking he'll come out of there with three knees somehow!

Lyzzie and I were talking today about how silly she used to be. When she was in daycare, she was afraid that her friends wouldn't recognize her if she got a haircut. There were twins in her class, and Lyzzie thought that if they didn't wear matching clothes they wouldn't be twins anymore. She also thought that if SHE wore the same clothes as they did, she'd be their twin too. It's so funny how kids see the world!

I think I'm going to turn in early tonight. I kept almost falling asleep all day.
