Oh, YUM, French Toast! Thanks, Donna.

Michele - who cares about cleaning when you've got Lilly!!!?

Linda - sorry to hear Kenny is gone for a bit!

Angela - great pics! What a great time you all must have had!

Happy Friday everyone!

Pozey-- Yeah for the good news on the job front! :cool1:

Angela-- great photo's!

Donna-- thanks again for breakfast.

Our realtor contacted the other couple but they already put a contract on another house. Bummer! Sooo, we're back in the loop of getting calls and leaving the house at all times. I hate the whole selling the house process:eek: . Anyway, we close on the new house end of April. We have the inspection scheduled for next week and if everything goes well with that then we are home free!

Well, I need to get kiddo ready for school. Have a great day all!

Good Morning!

Thanks for breakfast Donna!

Linda-I'm sorry Kenny's at his dad's.

Have fun in AK Dznyfan!

The weirdest thing happened this morning! My trunk was open!:scared1: I checked everything and nothing was stolen. I don't have much in my car anyways, just my bookbag, cd's and umbrella's and it was all there, thank goodness. I think the latch on it might be broken. I'll have to compare it to my sister's, since we have the same car.

Have a great day everyone!

Donna thank you!!! That is Kennys favorite ;)

Dznyfan... you're SO right! Enjoy your trip this weekend!

Yolanda:hug: I'm so sorry the other buyers already commited to another house:guilty: hopefully you'll have a new offer soon! Good luck w/the inspection and everything going well w/the new house!

Mike emailed me.... told me to think about what I wanted to do this weekend and NO we can't go to FL:rotfl: He must think I have a one track mind too:rolleyes1  oh well.... at least it's on something GOOD!

Thanks Nicole:hug: your trunk was open:confused: that's unusual ;) I've never had that happen. I hope it's something cheap and simple!!

That made me think of Steven leaving the hatch open on their vehicle.

I wonder how April, Steven and Sherri are doing:scratchin I hope they come see us soon:grouphug:

Have a great day everybody!

Good afternoon everyone, TGIF!

It's been a couple days since I've posted but I've been reading everyday. I hope everyone had a nice, stress-free week.

Pozey, thanks for checking in, I was wondering how you were doing!! Now I want some cheesecake :rotfl: Glad the second interview went well:banana:

DznyFan, thanks for sharing the trip report with us. I've always wanted to go to NYC but have never been (I think we've had this same conversation before :teeth:)

Linda, aren't you so glad Rocky got voted off Survivor!!! gosh, what a loser that guy was, and he totally wasn't expecting it! Sorry Kenny's gone  He'll be back before you know it!!

Nicole, how strange that your trunk would be open :confused3 I've never heard of that before...Glad nothing was taken!

Yolanda, sorry the bidder on the house backed out...Maybe you'll get a better offer this time:woohoo:

Lyzziesmom, Hi :) ;) I can't remember what I was going to type to you so I'll leave it at that!!

Lesa, glad your enjoying baby Lilly :cloud9:
Michele, hope everyone is feeling better!!!

Well I went ahead & bought that dental discount card from Aetna. I'm pretty happy so far because they gave me my member number so I can go to the dentist before the card comes. I don't know if you guys understood but the waiting period was just the dental part of the insurance, I was also getting medical too but canceled both. Now that I'm going to need dental work and I don't know how much its going to cost, I canceled it just in case I couldn't afford it until another couple months. My Mom's office manager's husband, who died acouple months ago, owned an insurance company (apparently she still runs it or knows who does) and she is going to get me a quote:woohoo: Maybe I'll get a good deal.

The last couple days I've been looking at dentists that do 'sedation dentistry' but ofcourse none of them have prices on their websites & are very vague about the prices when you call. Well Jeremiah made me an appointment this week for a place which said the consulation for the sedation dentistry is $155, well I can live with that if they can sedate me for the dental work. I have very, very sensitive teeth, and have a very hard time getting numb for any type of dental procedure. I have pain even when I get a cleaning! Well I called another place just to compare & and they gave me some insane price just for the consult & sedation, not even including the work that needs to be done. So I call back the original place, which I had an appointment for, and they said just the sedation would be $1500:scared1: I was hoping all of my dental work would be that, if not less!

So I guess I'm out of luck. I don't know anyone around here that could recommend an understanding dentist. I had Jeremiah ask his co-workers but they all go to Indian dentists who like work out of their houses or something:scared1: (these guys are Indian, as in from India and they refuse to go to any doctor that isn't indian:confused: )

I looked at plane prices and it just isn't reasonable for me to fly home to go to my wonderful dentist there.:sad1: Sorry guys, I'm just stressed out & and in pain, and am sick of all this stuff. Now I'm going to be in pain for the whole weekend, and I'm scared to see if I need a root canal. Not just for the procedure itself, but the cost, and then most general dentists dont even perform them. It was an easy decision to get my tooth extracted in January because #1 it was a medical emergency and severely infected, #2 the first dentist told me he wouldn't be able to get me numb for the root canal:sad2: (i will NOT be going back to him) and #3 it was in the back, the last tooth. Now I'm worried about my teeth shifting, and I'm kind of young to be getting my teeth removed anyway:headache:
Thanks to anyone that read this far. I am just venting, and have alot of anxiety about the price & and the pain associated with dental work. I haven't been able to sleep for several days because of this and I'm just stressed out. And when I get stressed out Jeremiah does and he isn't that comforting :sad2:

Hey everyone.

I went and read FC's thread last night and I'm just appalled at all that garbage. And like Dznyfan said I can't believe the amount of people that coddle him like a stray puppy! He is seriously disturbed and in need of some major therapy.

Hope everyone has a great day! Its Friday for all of you!

Nicole, sorry for all your dental trouble. This could be incentive to get your drivers license so you can get a job that will get you dental insurance. Some companies offer insurance to their part-time employees but I don't know if dental is part of it. Its certainly worth looking into my dear. Have you perhaps tried a children's dentist? I know that sounds wierd but I went to my childrens dentist until I left Minnesota and they were great with pain due to working so often with children who are afraid of the dentist.

Hope everyone has a great day! Its Friday for all of you!

What day is it for you?

It's almost my lunchtime, and I have no idea where to go! I wanted to go to Old Navy to check out their sundresses, they had some really cute ones on a commercial. But I just looked them up, and the closest one is about 10 minutes away - I think that's too far to go during my lunch hour. 20 minutes traveling, 5 minutes parking, 10 minutes checking out... that doesn't leave enough time for shopping!! Maybe I'll go with the girls this weekend, they don't mind shopping as long as they get something out of it, so I can bribe them with ice cream if they behave. :thumbsup2 (thumb) I guess I'll just go home for lunch.

Ashley: sorry about your dental problems. I decided not to get the root canal because it's just not bothering me THAT much, but it sounds like that is definitely not an option for you. I hope you find a solution that works for you.

Hi to everyone else and TGIF!!

Lin, hi i:wave: t's Ashley not Nicole, Nicole has a job. I'm not sure if you read my posts from this week but I was going to get medical & dental insurance, but the discounts and coverage for the dental work wouldn't be covered for 6 months for just a filling and 18 months for a rooth canal. since I need this work now I decided to get a dentist discount card to save money and then get medical/dental insurance when this is paid for. Yes I do need to get my license, I plan to do that in August when I visit florida to take the test since I want a florida's driving license.

:rotfl: That's Ashley not me!

Lyzziesmom, I saw that commerical for Old Navy too. After I see how much this dental work is going to cost me, I want to go to Old Navy and look around. I wanted to get a cute dress for my trip! I know your tooth isn't bothering you that much, but let me tell you you don't want to put it off and let it get infected. It is very dangerous to your health and seriously, I've never been in that much pain in my entire life!!!! (When I needed a root canel (even though I didn't know I did) and it got infected) Its hard for me because normally my teeth will not hurt if it just needs a filling, when I get pain like this its usually for a root canal & and thats why I'm so nervous.

When I was younger I went to a dental school to get alot of work done & thats part of the reason I hate the dentist. I had to go every day after school for months and the same young guy would work on me, without me being numb. He just wouldn't believe I was numb and I have had problems with my teeth ever since:sad2: That guy screwed up alot of teeth and didn't do the fillings properly, but I guess thats the chance you take. My parents couldn't afford anything else and I needed alot of work done. I don't care if I have to sell my stuff to afford this,I am not going to a dental school again!!!:sad2: :rolleyes1 I know I dont need that, Jeremiah provides me for me but I just saying :rolleyes1

Ashley! I'm sorry! I think I started out writing about Nicoles trunk being open but couldn't think of anything to say so I backed up and forgot to change the name! Don't worry, I know your name!!!

I did read your posts. Insurance does nothing but confuse me, but the 6 month waiting period for dental was wacked. I hope you find some kind of solution that works for you. I'm serious about calling some childrens dentists! Whenever I go back to Minnesota I call my old dentist and go in for a cleaning!

Lyzziesmom, I went and checked out the Old Navy dresses a couple of weeks ago and in person I didn't like them, they were too stiff. But, part of that is because I'm a shorty and they made me look really, really stupid! I hope they work better for you!

Ashley, is there any way that the dentist would work out a payment plan? My brother had to have serious dental work (ie they removed all his teeth) and most places were willing to set him up with a payment arrangement.

My mom goes to a really great dentist in Frederick. She says he's super nice and gentle. Plus, when she didn't have insurance he gave her a break on the price. I want to switch to him soon, since I HATE going to the dentist, because I'm so scared. I know Frederick is a bit far, but if you want the name I'll ask her.

Ashley- I hope something can be worked out!:grouphug: Tooth pain has to be the worst! Like Lin suggested, see about a children's dentist or maybe a dental college. You just remined me, I need to go get my teeth sealed again.

ETA- I just read about the dental college. Scratch that, Sorry.

Amber, that is what I'm going to find out. I guess it depends on the dentist if they allow payment plans or not. I have some money saved for this type of situation, I just hope it doesn't wipe out the savings. Seriously, I am envisioning thousands of dollars in dental work:rolleyes1 I am so dramatic sometimes :teeth: I have several dentists I've been calling today, they all seem to be at lunch and not answering the phone:rolleyes1 I'm not sure how far your Mom's dentist would be. Thanks for the offer but I would like to find somewhere close in case I need multiple appointments.

Lin, sorry if I sounded rude, it came out wrong. I swear I've barely slept for the past week:rolleyes1 I've been enjoying alot of late night television:rolleyes1 Anyways, I am planning a visit to my regular dentist in August to get a cleaning since I know I'll be in Florida. i know what you mean about pediatric doctors, if I still lived in Florida I would be still going to mine (the regular doctor not the dentist but you know what I mean!!)

Now you all are making me want to go to Old Navy to check out their sundresses. Lin, I am short too and they look weird on me. Plus I am soooo pale! I guess that's why I need one, so my pale legs will finally see some sun. :sunny:

:rotfl2: me too... makes me wanna go to Old Navy and the dentist:laughing:
I need to hit the tanning bed first or someone will be blinded:rolleyes1
oh... Fredericks has special offers going on too:rotfl: $15 off $100, $30 off $150 and $75 off $250 purchase ;) I need new bras!! Sorry...tmi ;) I have mostly Victorias Sec. but I'm thinking of buying more FoH...does your sister like them? Didn't you say your sister workes there? Sorry:rolleyes1

Ashley:hug: :grouphug:  I do know what you mean! I have passed out at the dentist and have had 4 root canals!!! I sure hope you can find a dentist to help you w/the sedation and a payment plan! You need to get some rest:grouphug: Are you taking anything for the pain? I just take some otc when I'm needing to get to the dentist. It would get you through til you can get in. Good luck:hug:

Hey there Lin.. you must have to work the weekend? I'm sorry:hug: I'm still trying to figure out what to do with myself since Kenny is w/his dad:guilty: I was planning on taking him to "Meet the Robinsons"...I guess we'll wait til Monday since I'll be off work for court..Yeah, that sounds good..sorry... thinking and typing at the same time:rotfl:
