LALALALALAAAAAA!!!! (I haven't watched AI yet so don't tell me who went home!)

Emma was so cute tonight at bedtime, she was performing a dance for me and Lyzzie and she started giving dance lessons, demonstrating how to do some Wiggles dances. At one point she showed us a move, and then said, "Can you do that?" and then she stuck both arms straight out in front of her, stuck both thumbs up :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 and said "Fan-TAS-tic!" :lmao: She kills me!

Hi, everyone!! I've been reading Dznyfan's trip report. It was excellent!! It made me feel like I was there too!!

Donna thanks for the yummy breakfast, I think I'll have to wait for grandaughters before I get to eat in the castle!!
I know exactly what you mean!!! Maybe my future DIL will want to go with me.

Lin:: That really wonderful that Chris booked your flight!!!:woohoo:
Sorry to hear the news from Disney was not what you wanted to hear. Hang in there; things will work out.

Michele:: I love the pics of Lilly! She is growing so much!! I hope her and Matt get to feeling better.

Linda:: Good luck on Monday. :grouphug:

lyzziesmom:: Sounds like Emma is learning the Wiggles dance moves!!!

Well, it's time to shoo Nathan to bed, he keeps finding excuses to stay up!!!:rolleyes1

Good Morning!!!

Everyone is getting better, which means I have to go back to work:sad2:

The meds that Lilly is on for her thrush really give her gas pains:sad1: . Poor little baby, she was in a lot of pain the last day or so. We talked with the pharmacist last evening who told us what to give her and it seems to have helped a lot.

Matt said he was going to school today no matter how he felt...he has been bored silly. And making us all nuts in the process.

I have been reading all the posts, I just haven't had time lately to respond. So to everyone...insert appropriate response here:rolleyes1

Have a great day everyone!!

Good morning, Crew!!! The rain missed us yesterday; maybe today will be the day. I'll wash my car.....then it will rain for sure!!
How about taking a a stroll to the Fountainview Cafe and grabbing a quick breakfast this morning? then it's on to Test Track!!!:dance3:

I hope everyone has a Thoroughly Wonderful Thursday!!:cool1:

Good morning, Michele!!! I'm glad everyone is feeling better. Too bad you have to go back to work.:guilty:
I used to put a few drops of gas medicine in Nathan's bottle about once a day. He still has gas, but now he thinks it's hilarious!!!
Have a good day at work.

Hello everyone!

I've been missing you! There's way too many pages for me to catch up on, so I hope all is well with everyone!

We went to WV last weekend and found a house, put in an offer and it was accepted! :cool1: Now we just have to wait for the results of the inspection. Tuesday was my last day of work so I packed up my office and moved it out. Then, Tuesday evening we received word that the people who were going to buy our house were asking for us to put on a new roof-- which my realtor said meant they were trying to get out of the contract. Sure enough, they backed out when I said I wasn't replacing the roof-- it doesn't leak and is 12 years into it's 20 year life. :confused3 I was a little annoyed at them because we had another couple that really wanted the house but this couple out-bid them. Oh well, this couple that backed out had already started to be real demanding about move out times and such, so it's probably for the best. Sooo.. the house is back on the market. If we have to, we can afford both house payments and we qualify for the new house even with owning this house, but it's a royal pain! :headache:

Anyway, I've been so busy that I haven't had time to be here. Sorry.

We woke up to snow on the ground today. Welcome to our crazy spirng weather. 70's one day, snow the next. The good thing about these spring snows is that they are nice and moist, so it's good for the lawn!

Well, I'd better get kiddo ready for school. I hope everyone has a great Thursday!

Thank you so much Donna! I can't see breakfast, but I'm sure it's good ;)

Hey there Michele :) I hope Lilly and Matt are feeling better. Sounds like they're getting there.

Yolanda:hug: I'm so sorry about your house issues. Maybe the other couple are still interested? Good luck! I sure hope it is sold quickly so you can wrap things up in Colorado. I know your dad doesn't want to hear that:rolleyes1 Good luck!

Good Morning!

Thanks for breakfast Donna!

Lyzziesmom- Emma is too funny! :rotfl:

Yolanda- I'm sorry that couple backed out of buying the house. Hopefully the other couple is still interested.

Hi, everyone!! I've been reading Dznyfan's trip report. It was excellent!! It made me feel like I was there too!!
Awwww... thanks! thanks to all you guys who've taken the time to read my little TR - your time is most appreciated!

Lyzziesmom your Emma dancing story is too cute! She's just adorable!

Angela - thanks for the tip on the movies! DH saw Departed last weekend and loved it, I still want to see it. Happy Feet is out!! Can't wait to see Happy Feet!

Did anyone watch the Discovery Channel series Planet Earth last Sunday?? Even though I don't have that channel in HD, it the videography was incredible! What a great show!

I'm getting there, slowly but surely, with my trip pics - I've got most of them through day 2 uploaded. After tonight I should be close!! I'll drop a link to them tonight maybe - I'll be out of town again this weekend.

Good morning!

Breakfast looks yummy!

Lilly is sleeping in my arms.:cloud9: She's very squeaky this morning.:) I'm sitting here smelling her, I love baby smell. I have 2 more days and I have to head home.:sad1: I wonder if anyone will notice is I take her with me.:rolleyes1

Lin, I'm really sorry Disney didn't work out right now. Never give up on your dreams, now may not be the right time, but that's not to say there won't be a right time.

Yolanda...that really sucks about your house, but it sounds just as well because they sounded like they would make everything a headache.:headache: I'm glad you found a house.

have a great day everyone!

Lesa: Is it really a good idea to be smelling a gassy baby?!? I think she'd be sorely missed if you babynapped her.

Yolanda: YAY you found a house!! That's too bad about those people dropping out, especially after outbidding someone else. I bet they found something else and just didn't want to be honest about it. I'm sure you'll find another buyer soon - maybe your realtor can contact the other couple that had bid and let them know it's back on the market? When is the actual move, do you have it scheduled yet or will it be just whenever the house sells?

Michele: I'm glad to hear that Lilly is getting better. My kids have never had thrush but my mom gets it occasionally, and it makes even her crabby!

Donna: I never knew you could put the gas drops in the baby's bottle. When Emma needed them I just put them right in her mouth. Duh!! Yeah, kids attitudes about gas do change with age, don't they? It's hilarious from age 3 until about.... 80 I think. My grandpa still finds gas quite amusing. Emma has always been a very gassy baby and Lyzzie finds it so hilarious when Emma farts in her sleep. I have to remind her that she does it too!

Wow... who knew I had so much to say about gas??

WARNING!! WARNING!!! LONG, LONG POST WARNING!!

Hey guys!! Long time, no talk!! I miss you guys immensely!! I can’t believe I haven’t been able to DIS in SO LONG!!

Yeah, they have blocked a lot of sites here at work, so, once again, I have found a back door, but I can’t do it very much. Plus, with the boys having so much extra-curricular activities going on, I don’t get a chance to DIS at home either.

I am coaching Chase’s baseball team. We practice on Monday and Thursday nights. Both boys are still on the swim team and they practice on Wednesday and Friday nights. So, that leaves Tuesday open. Or does it???!!?? I found out at swim team practice last night that for the month of April, we are going to have a swim meet …………c’mon say it with me now………EVERY TUESDAY!!!

Other news……I think I told you guys that I had an interview with another company about a week or two ago. It went very well, and they called me in for a 2nd interview yesterday (Wednesday the 28th). I went in and I think I nailed the interview. I met with them at 11:30 yesterday for about an hour. By the time I got back to work, I already had an e-mail telling me that I had everything they were looking for and asking what my thoughts were. They also began asking about my salary requirements. So, I think they are on the verge of offering me the position. I would not be surprised if I didn’t get an offer by Friday.

In other news……Colton’s birthday is in 12 days. He will turn 11. Courtney’s birthday is in 16 days. She will be 4. We still have not decided where to have their party. We have had their birthday at a local amusement park, but they have shut it down recently. Now we really don’t know what to do.

More news………the in-laws have moved to their new house in Broken Arrow. They closed on it yesterday, but we moved all their stuff into their garage last Sunday. The builder was kind enough to allow them to do this. We helped them move last Sunday. But we made a nice weekend of it……

We drove up to Oklahoma City fairly early Saturday morning. We arrived and checked into our hotel about 1:00 p.m. I asked the family what they wanted to do first. It wasn’t totally unanimous, but we decided to go eat first. Our intentions were to go eat at The Cheesecake Factory. Well, we arrive and right away can tell the place is extremely busy. I drop DW and Colton off to go check it out. Yep, the wait time for a table was over an hour. We decided to try someplace else. We decided on Abuelo’s Mexican Restaurant. There is an Abuelo’s right in the heart of Bricktown in downtown Oklahoma City. We go down there an find a place to park – we paid $5 to park all day.

After eating at Abuelos, we walk around Bricktown a little bit. We had plans to go to the National Cowboy Hall of Fame, but since we already paid 5 bucks to park, and if we left and came back, we’d have to pay to park again. So, we just decided to stay down in Bricktown.

We went and bought tickets to ride the canal boats. Some years ago, Oklahoma City had a major renovation to their downtown area. On thing they did was to build a water canal that went through the Bricktown area. It is really nice. So we rode the canal boat around. At one area of the canal boat ride, there is an area where they are building a bunch of bronze sculptures depicting the Oklahoma Land Run. Right now, there are only 11 statues, with plans for a total of 46. So, after the boat ride, we walked to the area and took some pictures. I decided to give Colton my old Canon Rebel SLR film camera. He had a blast taking pictures with it.

We then walked back to Bricktown and decided to take a horse-drawn carriage ride through downtown. The kids really enjoyed this. After the carriage ride, we decided to take one more canal boat ride before leaving downtown. So we did.

We then decided to go back to The Cheesecake Factory and just get some cheesecake to go. DW got the Dulce De Luche Caramel Cheesecake, Colton got the Chocolate Oreo Mudslide, Chase and Courtney split the Banana Cream Cheesecake, and I got the Pineapple Upside Down Cheesecake. While they were all very good, they didn’t seem very “cheesecake-y” to me. More like a pie than a cheesecake. But they were good.

So, on our way back to the hotel, we passed by the Oklahoma City Capital Building. It is a very beautiful building, and Colton wanted to stop and snap a few pictures with his “new” camera. We stopped and took some pictures. But it was just getting dark, so some came out pretty well, others not so well. Especially if I tried to zoom in real close. I didn’t have a tripod, and that would have helped.

After snapping some pictures, we drove around the area and saw the Governor’s Mansion, the VA Hospital, and the OU Medical Center. Both the VA Hospital and OU Medical Center are HUGE!!

Went back to the hotel and ate our cheesecake and watched the movie with Hilary Duff where she is like Cinderella. I can’t remember the name. Maybe it is called Cinderella? Anyway, it was on ABC Family channel, and we watched it. It was decent. We then called it a day and went to bed.

Thanks for letting me go on and on about trivial things in my life.

Talk to you guys real soon!!

These have some pictures from Magic Kingdom and of the kids on the beach at the Poly. I took Ben to the Dr. this morning because since we got back from Florida whenever he goes outside his eyes get puffy and he is constantly rubbing them. I thought allergies since everything is blooming here now but wanted to make sure, they thought allergies and prescribed him some Zyrtec I hope it works. Alright ya'll I chat with you later!!

More great pics, Angela. Your kids look like they had so much fun!

pozey: nice to see you, stranger! Wow, you really have been busy. Free time, what's that?!?

I'm off to Sam's Club for lunch -- we will see if I can spend less than $100.00 this time.
