Hi everyone!!!

Hope you all are having a nice weekend!! Today Jeremiah & I went out and got a new digital camera for our trip. We got a Panasonic Lumix FXO7. Apparently its a good camera :confused3 Thats what a couple of the guys said at Best Buy, and all the reviews online said. We were going to spend more money on another camera but they said this one was the better one. I want one that takes fast pictures and clears ones- thats all I care about! We got one last summer before our Disney trip but it isn't very good. Hopefully this one lasts for a couple years!

We also went to this store called MicroCenter and got a 2GB memory card for $15.99 :cool1:

I'm bummed about this cold weather! I was all prepared to break out the capris and other warm clothes. I can't wait until the pool opens, I am looking very pale right now

Anybody planning on watching The Soprano's tomorrow? I watched some of last season but stopped because I was getting bored. I am going to give it another try tomorrow.

Lesa:: Oh, poor Brittany!! I hope she gets to feeling better soon so that the girls can dye their eggs.:goodvibes
I thought of you as I was leaving the Walmart parking lot today. I work best under pressure!!:scared: That candy aisle was a jungle!!!
I hope the bunnies escape Gracie. Sounds like they need to get out of her way for a little while!!

Ashley:: I hope you like your camera!! I want one that is fast and takes clear pics, too!! I'm afraid I'll have to make due with my old one for awhile.
I know what you mean about the cold weather. last week at this time I was wearing capri pants and sandals!!!! No way now....it's about 37 degrees here right now!! (Brrrrrrrrr) I am very pale, too. I bought some tinted moisturizer last night and I think I'm looking a bit more "golden" today!!!

Michele, I'm so jealous of Bri, I love the Pistons!! Rip Hamilton is one of my favorite players.

Ashley, Rip wasn't there today:sad2: But she got to see some other players.

This is Dale Davis, Bree and 2 of her friends that work there. Bree would like everyone to note that one of them is shorter than she is:woohoo:

Linda: I've been wanting to take Nathan to see "Meet the Robinsons" or "Are We Done Yet?".
Sorry you were so busy at work that you didn't have time to post. It was rather quiet on our thread today.
Nathan bought himself a new DVD about Michael Jordan's career. He has a Nerf basketball goal set up on his bedroom door. If that poor door lasts through the night I'll be pretty surprised
well, we went to see it today...Mike fell asleep:lmao: it ended up being pretty good overall but it was SLOW. The end was great and wrapped it up to make sense...but through it I was thinking "they thought this was great":confused3 you'll have that. I bet Nathan loves the basketball goal! Kenny would have a ball w/that!

Hey guys, I'm at my moms house tonight since we are leaving for my grandparents in the morning.

instead of 71.00 I got one for 17.95!!!! It was crazy!!!

Well, I probably won't be able to check in tomorrow or Sunday so I hope you all have a blessed Easter!
Be careful and we'll miss ya! That is an awesome sale!! You have a blessed Easter as well!

Well I'm almost embarrassed to post as I always seem to post terrible news but......My laptop broke last night so I have to use the desktop.Brittany came home from her friends house early this morning and I believe she has strep throat and Madison's asthma is acting up, so off to the doctor for both of them I have nothing for Easter dinner, I guess we can just eat hard boiled eggs  we still have to dye Easter eggs, nor do I have basket stuff yet:headache: and my mother sent me a birthday card for my birthday. Oh and add to that Gracie almost got herself a rabbit, dumb bunnies just don't learn. Now she is out eating my lilac bush. Stupid dog!!!

O.k. I'm done complaining. I hope everyone has a super Saturday!:yay:
Sorry about your laptop!! Hope the girls are doing better! I knew Sherri's was the 12th b/c her screen name:rotfl:
Hey Donna...thanks for the breakfast. I need to pick up my easter basket stuff too. My oldest DS is wanting a white chocolate bunny this year and I don't even have his PSP game. Actually, I couldn't find it at Walmart. DH and I went to Target last night and I totally forgot to look for the Easter stuff. I was too busy looking at the shoes...trying to find something to wear to my sister's wedding. I'm not wanting to spend a bundle on something I will only wear once. So back for some more shopping today.
Hope you got your shopping done ok! Did you hear UK has a new coach...from TX Gillispie or something like that ;)

Hello everyone!!!
We are on the home stretch of the basement!!

I have really short legs, I have sat in some that I can't even touch the floor!!!:confused3 Can't really rock like that!!

Well Blake just called...my turn to help Check in later

Oh Lesa's birthday is the 12th!!
There you are :)!! I've been wondering how you've been doing! Great news on the basement:banana: ! I know what you mean about chairs...I bought Mike a new on last year;) Good luck!

All I know is...younger than me!!:rotfl: Every time I mention a song, a show or something from when I was young, she says, "sorry that was before my time!!":lmao: Little Brat!!

Our Lilly is celebrating Easter with her dad's family, which is allowing us to get a lot done. They took her to see the Easter Bunny this week.
:lmao: that sounds like me at work..."sorry, before my time":rotfl: or w/Mike since he's older:lmao: Sorry Lilly is w/her dad for Easter:guilty: And you didn't let Aunt Lesa take her to see the Easter Bunny:eek: oh no!!! ;)

I forgot to mention why I was upset with my mom sending me a birthday card. Well it came postage due, every single time she sends mail to me I have to pay postage on it.:confused3: We still are not really on speaking terms and for some reason that just really irked me.:rolleyes1
Postage due???? Sorry Lesa! WE love you!

I noticed that:goodvibes

Hope you all have a wonderful Easter! Kenny and I just finished decorating eggs a little bit ago. That was fun! I can't wait to see him in the morning w/his basket!

Hello All!

I've been busy today. We took Tyler to his first outdoor soccer game; it was so cold! He did great though and scored 3 of his teams 5 goals! :cheer2: Then we dyed eggs.

I better go back and catch up. I'm trying to upload pitures while waiting for boxing to come on.

My birthday is next Thursday, but thank you for the birthday cake.:lmao: I guess I forgot to mention why I was upset with my mom sending me a birthday card. Your mom is a true piece of work!!!:rotfl:

We also went to this store called MicroCenter and got a 2GB memory card for $15.99 :cool1:
Wow that's a great deal! We have one near us, I may have to go there this week!!

I think we're going to take Kenny to see "Meet the Robinsons" tomorrow and prepare for Sunday. I better call mom and see if she has any plans. She usually has to work on holidays:guilty:

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and Happy Easter!!!

Briana and her friends went to see Meet the Robinsons Friday night. Do they know how to party or what?:confused3 :lmao: Half of them liked it and the others HATED it!!

I went to Hallmark with my mom this evening and they had Genuine Vera Bradley bags on clearance! I'm not really into Vera Bradley but I bought several for presents for girlfriends of mine and I did get myself a little wristlet. They were seriously cheap, instead of 71.00 I got one for 17.95!!!! It was crazy!!!

Well, I probably won't be able to check in tomorrow or Sunday so I hope you all have a blessed Easter!

I am so jealous!! I just recently fell in love with VB bags. I think I need the Hipster for WDW!! I keep reading that all these Hallmark stores carry them but none around here. I am going shopping for one this week...shhh!! Don't tell Blake!!

Great job Tyler!!! I loved it when Matt played soccer!! Soccer and basketball were/are my favorite sports to watch him play. They are just so fast paced!

Hope everyone has a lovely Easter!

How cute...did you make that? It looks like something my mom would have made.

Have a Happy Easter everyone!!!

Happy Easter everyone!!! :cool1:

Anyone have big plans for today? We actually don't have any plans. We are going to hide some eggs for the kids to hunt later, but we aren't having a big dinner or anything.

We went to my Aunt's house yesterday. She always has a big Easter Egg Hunt for the whole family. It was fun.

Hello my cliqueless friends!!!

Just wanted to check in and say hi and Happy Easter to everyone!!!

I haven't had a opportunity to read but will try to catch up later on this evening. I wasn't able to log in a whole lot this week because of phone calls and waiting for call backs. I am still dealing with the whole insurance thing and am still worried sick about the whole thing.

I am over at my parents' right now and the company is coming over later on this afternoon for an early dinner.

Well, gotta go peel some eggs so I hope everyone has a wonderful day!!!!

p.s.-----CONGRATULATIONS,POZEY on your new job!!

DznyFan: Oh wow, I'm glad the kiddos are ok. That must have been so scary! I bet it'll be a while before any of them decide to go on another school trip.

We did something this morning we have never done before -- we walked out of church in the middle of the service! Let me explain... A few weeks ago when we did all our garage saling, we went to a church sale down the street from our house. While there, we noticed a sign for their Easter egg hunt. Since we missed our usual city egg hunt, we went to the one at the church. We are not members of any local church because we just haven't really found one we feel fits our needs, so we decided to try this same church for Easter services this morning. So my parents came here to pick us up and we all went together. The people were very friendly, almost overly so, but they were not very crowded which struck me as odd. One of the greeters explained that the kids have (optional) Sunday School at the same time as the early service (which we were attending) and the second service has (optional) Children's Church in the gym during the regular service. We figured that explained the low attendance, since there were at least 500 kids at the egg hunt yesterday. Well during the service we discovered that the congregation here is very vocal which isn't something we are used to, but the kids liked it. They had lively music and everyone clapped and some even danced a little. Emma enjoyed it and Lyzzie was even tapping her feet a little. So far so good. And then they started showing scenes from "The Passion of the Christ." The first scene was a little bloody but ok, and then another song. Then another scene from the movie - which I have never seen - and this scene was a bunch of people whipping Jesus with sticks, in the crotch & all! It was pretty bad. Lyzzie busied herself with coloring but Emma was burying her face in her blankie and stuck her fingers in her ears. They stopped for another song and then started up the movie again, and it just kept getting worse and worse so we left. On our way out, a man ran up to us and apologized profusely, he just kept saying, "I told them not to play this, or at least put up a warning sign. I'm so sorry." Apparently there was some controversy over whether to show the movie or not, but being that we don't frequent that church we had no idea. My mom gave the guy her name & phone number, he said the pastor would call to apologize!

ETA: I almost forgot the worst part of the story -- the man said they would be showing the same movie clips again during the children's service!! And he admitted that they knew it's rated R but decided to show it anyway! I bet we ended up not to be the only ones walking out.

We decided that was enough church for today and went to IHOP for pancakes. At least it was a memorable Easter experience!!

The kids are busy playing with their Easter toys - they got very little candy but a bunch of little toys. Lyzzie said she woke up at 2:57am and found all the eggs & presents! I expect her to be very tired and/or crabby this afternoon. It actually worked out nicely that way, because she had all the joy of finding eggs and then she left them alone so Emma could find and collect them, and she helped Emma find them - it was so sweet!

The house is a mess with all the girls' Easter stuff spread out in the living room, and yesterday we dyed eggs and made cookies and I didn't feel like cleaning up immediately, so the kitchen is a wreck, but we are all having a very nice day. I hope the rest of you are too!

Later it's off to mom's house for steak! Not your typical Easter dinner, but it's something we all like (except Lyzzie but she'll make do) so that's what Mom decided to make.

Speaking of moms: Lesa, that's nuts that your mom sent your birthday card postage due! Will you be returning the favor on her birthday?

I think I'm going to take advantage of the quiet, busy kids and have myself a little "me time" -- what a concept!

HOPPY EASTER EVERYONE!

That sounds like a lot of fun! we've had a great quiet, relaxing day! Kenny got up and discovered the Easter Bunny had visited him ;) found all the hidden eggs and was having so much fun! I had to then hide the empty eggs so he could find those after he raided the goodies inside:rotfl: It was a lot of fun. Too bad it had to be inside...it was snowing outside!!

Briana and her friends went to see Meet the Robinsons Friday night. Do they know how to party or what?:confused3 :lmao: Half of them liked it and the others HATED it!!
Great job Tyler!!! I loved it when Matt played soccer!! Soccer and basketball were/are my favorite sports to watch him play. They are just so fast paced!
I can see why...there were good parts but definitely not one of their best. Too slow for me. Its one of those they could have cut 30 minutes out of easily! I love watching the fast paced sports too! I can't wait to watch Kenny play baseball this year!

Hope everyone has a lovely Easter!
Did you make that? it is adorable! Sometimes I make an Easter Bunny cake that is a round cake cut in 1/2 and made to look like a bunny...but I played it llazy this year ;) we're just throwing a chicken in the rotisserie and not doing anything big. I'm sure your boys are having a blast!

I am still dealing with the whole insurance thing and am still worried sick about the whole thing.
I bet you are:grouphug: you poor thing! I'm hoping and praying that everything turns out ok!!!

Oh, man.... what a night - venting ahead.... sorry guys.

I was going to post last night in the middle of the stress, but I didn't.

I guarantee the DOT and the charter company are going to get a serious @$$ chewing.
 I don't blame you! That is BEYOND ridiculous!!!! I can not even imagine!!!I'm glad they FINALLY made it home safely, but they definitely should have done several things differently! I hope her knee is ok! I bet you were ready to take off toward her yourself. I know I would be... its moments like that when the "inner momma bear" comes out and we're ready to rumble!!! I hope she's ok and I'm so sorry you had such a stressful night:hug:

Wow:sad2: I would have done the same thing. I remember watching that movie in the theater just sobbing...but there is NO WAY I would let Kenny watch that movie:scared: I told Mike and his reaction was "OMG!!!" You definitely did the right thing! My child doesn't need to be seeing that!wow!!! That is too cute that Lyzzie let Emma find the eggs...and helped her:cloud9: she is such a sweetheart!! Kenny got up before me and just sat quietly on the couch until I came out!! It only took me about 10 minutes, I didn't know he was up:confused3 sneaky little thing! but he was sitting on the couch waiting for us to come out before he touched anything!! Too cute!!

Amber... how fun w/your brother! I'm sure he enjoyed it!:cool1:

Hey there Bonnie, Nicole, Ashley, Lesa, Donna,Angela, Yolanda,Amber, YM, Lyzziesmom, pozey,Sherri,April,Underdog, and anyone else I'm forgetting!! :) Hope you're all enjoying your Easter!

Happy Easter!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter. Madison was up about 6:30 asking when we could go downstairs to see their baskets. I asked her how she knew the bunny had come, she said she peeked.:lmao: Well we made her let her sister sleep in until 7:30. The girls found all the eggs, normally we have one real egg that has come up missing and life cannot go on until it is found.;) Then we went to see Meet the Robinsons 3D. We loved it! If you get a chance to see it in 3D I highly recommend it. They even showed a Donald cartoon that was done in 3D back in the 50's and had not been seen since. The end of the movie brought tears to my eyes. There were a lot of parts in the movie that had it not been 3D I don't think it would have been as good.

Maddie got a hula hoop for Easter and has been teaching Grace to jump through the hoop.:rotfl2: Poor dog.:lmao:

Dznyfan....:scared1: I would have been fuming too!:scared1: OMG! Those poor kids.:sad2: I'm glad they finally made it home, safely!:grouphug: I hope her knee is o.k.

Lizziesmom....I actually saw that movie.:scared1: It was a very inappropriate disturbing scene and I would have left. Definitely not a movie for kids. I could not bear watching that scene.:sad2:

2x....I hope the insurance stuff gets cleared up soon.

Madison and Brittany got preteen magazines in their baskets. Maddie is going through hers cutting out all the "cute" boys to hang on her bedroom wall.:lmao: :rotfl:

Well I am going to clean up from dinner and watch a movie with the girls before sending them off to bed. I hope everyone had a great Easter!

Oh, and my mom did have a stamp on my birthday card, it was from 2 price hikes ago. Oh well, I did my daughterly duties today and called to wish them a Happy Easter and told her she owed me $.19.
