Have a great Tuesday!!!:goodvibes

Just popped in the say hello. Yesterday was so hot I didn't want to move. It made it up to about 87. Now Sunday was 62 and today is going to be about 70. Gotta love this neck of the woods.:upsidedow

Underdog I just love reading you edits at the bottom of your posts. I always check to see what you have to say.:dance3:

I hope everyone had a wonderful Mother's day. On Saturday dh sent me off shopping so he and the girls could do my Mother's day gift. Then we went to Cheesecake factory for my Mother's day dinner (we would have never got seated on Sunday). Then on Sunday the girls gave me a beautiful basket of soaps they had made. My rule since day 1 has been my mother's day gift has to be something that dh makes with the girls, as I won't except something store bought.;) Makes dh crazy every year.:lmao: The girls were so proud of their soaps and they turned out beautiful. Then we got on the train to downtown to go to the Field Museum. We waited for a half hour for the trolley but it never came so we walked.:scared1: For those of you that don't know Chicago the train station is waaaaaaaaaay far from the Field Museum.:sad2: Luckily it was a nice day. We enjoyed the Museum then we walked to catch a bus or a cab, but somehow we just kept walking...........all the way back to the train station.:scared1: To say my feet were barking the next day would be an understatement.:headache:

Gotta light a firecracker under dds butt as she doesn't want to get a move on this morning. Have a great day everyone.

Donna must have over slept this morning.;) I just threw some Monkey bread in the oven......enjoy.

And a little coffee should go quite nicely.

Have a tumbling Tuesday!:upsidedow

Thanks for breakfast Lesa. I'm not exactly sure what Monkey Bread is, but I'll try a piece anyway.

Donna must have had a wild night........she's sleeping in awfully late!!

Thanks, Lesa, for breakfast! It's nice to let Donna have a morning off to sleep in! Sounds like you had a lovely Mother's Day. I just loved the Field Museum when we went to Chicago last year.

Underdog the scones for snack were wonderful - I have to agree with Lesa, I just love to read your edit reasons.

Lyzziesmom - I looked up Rollins College, and found costs for their school of arts and sciences - total for tuition, rooms and meals, fees and books for the 07-08 year comes to $47,000.00+. :scared1: :faint:

Have a great day everybody!
My little waving smiley is gone!! Where's my waving smiley??? (not the one I used - the other one...)

07-08 year comes to $47,000.00+. :scared1: :faint:

:scared1:  :scared1: omg.... I better start eating ramen noodles now to prepare for college costs when Kenny is ready to go to college:scared: that's just scary!!

thanks Lesa and Underdog:cool1:

Lesa... that is awesome for Mothers day.:cloud9:

Donna:hug: hope everything is ok!

Hey there pozey, Nicole, and Lyzziesmom. Hope everyone is having a great day. I can't wait til we get some rain!!!:headache: these allergies are getting the best of me!! Amber, hope you're feeling better!

Good Morning Everyone!

Dznyfan, that tuition is CRAZY! I went to a local school and paid under $3K a year for everything (I didn't live on campus though).

Lesa, it sounds like you had a nice weekend. Thanks for breakfast; I love Monkey Bread, but haven't had it in a long time.

I am feeling a little better. My throat is still a little sore, but overall I am ok. I did rest last night; we watched the finales on CBS. I was worried that CBS was going to cancel How I Met Your Mother (last night would be the finale) but I read that it was renewed.

I hope everyone has a wonderful day. It's suppose to be HOT here.

YIKES!!

$3K a year is really good, and if she goes to school at our Jr. College for the first 2 years, they've got a special program available that would make it FREE! (and she'd still get to do the college program).
Glad to hear you're feeling better.
They were going to cancel How I Met Your Mother???? I'm glad they didn't - I love that show!

Free would be awesome! I didn't take many major specific courses my first two years, so jr. college would have worked well for me.

I read they were going to cancel it, but then read this morning it was picked up. However, I didn't read it on the CBS site, so I guess there is still a chance for it to not be renewed. I don't believe The Class was picked back up :guilty: but I am not certain.

UCF in Florida is going to come to around $24K a year for a non-resident. Compare that to around $10 - $11K a year for a FL resident.
hmmm:scratchin I think I'd buy a cheap house trailer in FL just to say I was a FL resident for those price differences!!! I've thought about that just to get the FL res. rates for the cruise and wdw:laughing: 10-11k sound much better!

Amber...love your siggy!

Oh yeah... now I'm remembering why I didn't go there. My scholarship only covered $900 per semester - a drop in the bucket at Rollins!

Amber: How I Met Your Mother was the season finale?? Oh crud... my DVR crapped out on it after the first 11 minutes. I was like NOOOOooooOOOOO! It was right when they were telling the story about the ring in the champagne glass, and Barney said, "Don't get married!" That's all I got to see. Dang it! I think Lyzzie may have been messing with the remote while I was in the kitchen, and I didn't notice until I went to watch it later that it cut out.

2x: I found something on the disneyshopping site you might be interested in:

And yes, it is life size. :thumbsup2 (thumb)

Lesa: LOVE the monkey bread - looks like the monkey likes it too! Here's another little something for him:  Now you've gone and made me hungry for cheesecake.

My boss is taking me to lunch in a little while. I let her suggest where to go, and I was frantically sending her a mental message of "Olive Garden! Olive Garden!" and sure enough, she said, "How about the Olive Garden?" I guess my powers of concentration and telepathy are working today! They've been on the blink for the last oh... 32 years or so.

Lyzzie brought home a note she made for me at school, not sure if it was part of an assignment or not but it is so cute! It says, "Mommy is the best. I loved it when she bought Disney Crocs for me. By Lyzzie." and she drew a picture of her standing on the porch with a package by the door, and she is saying, "Yay my Crocs came!" That's my girl!!

That isn't a bad idea.

Thanks! I just redid it.

Yep. You can watch the episode on cbs.com or I can tell you what happened.

Oh, I want to go to Olive Garden. It's Mike's favorite and we haven't gone in a while. Maybe we'll go this weekend.

That isn't a bad idea. However, you would need to check into the restrictions - like how long have you had this address and is anyone living there full time.

Amber: I guess I'll have to watch it online. I wasn't sure if they had that one up or not, I can never remember which channels and which shows do that. It's so handy! I need to catch up on like 1/2 the season of Ugly Betty too, I was so far behind that I just erased them all off my DVR to make room so I wouldn't miss anything else while on vacation. I love the pictures in your new signature! That one with the rose & the castle is still my favorite. I tried to do something like that but just couldn't quite find the right angle. Got some nice shots anyway, though. I swear I'll get them on here soon - just gotta upload them to photobucket, but they are all on my home computer and not at work... yet.

Dznyfan- $47,000!!!!! OMG!!!!

Lyzziesmom- Lyzzie is a sweetie! Now I'm craving Olive Garden!:rotfl:

Amber- Love your siggy pic! I'm glad How I Met your Mother isn't going to get cancelled. Even though I don't watch it often, it's a good show. I'm still sad that the King of Queens ended. :(

I don't know if I can make it to Olive Garden, but Italian sounds good for lunch. I may call in an order at Napoli's and go pick it up.

Or a BBQ sandwich from Runt's.

I'm hungry.

Thanks!

We never really watched King of Queens until recently. We started watching the reruns and thought it was really funny. For the most part, I liked how it ended.

yeah, details details:rolleyes1 Mikes retired, he can "live" there;) I wish we could really live there at least part of the time. Lots of clients for when I get my RN too:rotfl2: plenty of elderly down there!!

we watched the shows last night too. Definitely not how I expected How I met your Mother to end! we hadn't watched King of Queens til recently either. Its all our fault, we start watching and poof, they're gone:guilty:
