Lyzziesmom, Great pics from the Wiggles!!! Emma looks so excited, she sure talked about them on the trip alot. I'm super excited about our mini-meet too, I keep talking about it. Oh, I always wanted to ask you but keep forgetting- what high school did you go to in South Florida??

Thanks, glad you liked the pictures! I'm sure it's something that Emma will remember for a long time. Now the kids are bugging me to go see Disney on Ice, they showed about 4 commercials for it during Idol tonight. I went to one middle school and 2 high schools in FL. I was at Ramblewood Middle in Coral Springs for most of 8th grade, and then for 2 years I went to Taravella in Coral Springs and the last 2 years I went to Marjory Stoneman Douglas in Parkland when it opened. I was part of the founding class - it was pretty neat because the first year they didn't transfer any seniors, and I was a junior, so it was like we were seniors twice. The first year was so great because everyone was new, the cliques hadn't formed yet and it was just really fun. Of course by the 2nd year it was just like any other high school with the cliques and the cattiness, and especially because the school was in a very upper-class area there was a lot of snobbery.

Michele: That is a great picture of Lilly! The look on her face is so funny, she looks like a little mobster or something. How YOU doin?

Linda: It took Emma quite a while to get into it. At first she didn't really understand what was going on, we got there early and they were playing videos on the big screens and she seemed to think that WAS the show. Then when they rolled out in the Big Red Car, you'd have thought she saw God. Not trying to be blasphemous, but WOW was that kid excited! But she didn't start with the dancing until the finale, by that time she was so tired she was in her hyper phase. Lyzzie said she expected to be bored, but ended up having a great time and she now has a bit of a crush on Sam the new Wiggle.

I'm going to go see if I'm smarter than a 5th grader tonight! (My guess is no.)

Michele:: Wow!! What a really great thing for your dad to do!!! He definitely deserves a medal for best father/grandfather/great-grandfather!! One of my worse memories of Nathan's babyhood is the sleep deprivation. DH used to say my hormones were going crazy....NO!!! It was just lack of sleep!!!
Aawww!! That's the cutest pic of little Lilly. Her fingers are precious and she has the most adorable dark hair!! Do you remember the day we were at DTD and I saw the red Belle dress? I commented how cute that dress would look on a little brunette??

Hey everyone

Hope you all had a great night. Nothing new to report here!! Same old, same old!

Lyzziesmom, I'm familiar with all of those schools...I know alot of people that went to them. I know Taravella had a pretty bad rep when I was in school- there was talks of it shutting down because it kept getting bad ratings! As far as I know, they straightened up some and are still open. But, almost all South Florida schools got bad ratings, I hope if I move home and have kids they all straighten up their acts or I might be sending them to private school Although, those aren't always much better!!!

We've been getting some heavy rain here!! Thats surprising. We were at Wal-Mart tonight walking to the car and I stepped in a HUGE puddle that got one of my shoes SOAKING wet

Tomorrow's Friday!! Anybody have plans for the weekend??

I made it through the night without any tornados. I kept trying to watch the weather channel, but Mike would take the remote so I didn't freak myself out. I finally watched Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader? I am happy to report I am! I think it's my new favorite show.
No plans for this weekend. If it's not raining, we have to try to fix a couple leaks that started last night. I'm probably going to do a big cleaning and rearrange some furniture.

I wasn't sure who the new Wiggle was. I knew Greg left b/c his health...but Kenny don't watch them much anymore. Kenny loves the Disney on Ice!!!Glad they had a great time!

I have to agree... When Kenny was a baby, I got NO help what-so-ever! After I went back to work, I just couldn't take care of a newborn, work and be gone 12 hrs a day and have little to no sleep! I went to 4 days a week for awhile, and then to 3 days a week. It was just too much! I still wouldn't trade it for anything in the world I see many new princess dresses in Lillys future

I hate moving! I have too much stuff! With this move DH's company moved us. Oh, and I hate packing. Just ask DH's friends that helped us move the 2 times before this. They ended up throwing things in boxes because I was so slow. That was not fun to unpack let me tell you!

Dznyfan: I missed it somewhere amongst all this chatter, when are you and Erin going to NY? I'm glad she is in a better mood!

YM: I hope Andrew is doing better! Maddie is doing a bit better. She is fever free, but everything is breaking up so she is coughing pretty bad. I don't know how the Dr didn't hear a wheeze. It wasn't bad, but definitely a slight wheeze in her right lung. Now she is wheezing like crazy. I guess the doctor was too worried about giving me lessons on asthma and dust mites.

2x: We miss you, I hope everything is going well! I hope you check in soon! No more Snack Bandits I hope!

I have hardly slept for a few weeks now. DH bought me some tylenol PMs last night. I must say I did sleep a little bit better, I still woke up several times. I did however have a very funny dream, I dreamed (or is it dreamt?) I was at a sleep clinic. I woke up soon after that.
