Hi, Ash!! I think they were talking '08, because that was almost 2 years away.:hourglass

Glad you had a fun lunch!!
You're right...I AM excited!! :teeth:

OOOOOOHHHHHHHH!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!

I am a tagless nobody. I'm not worthy.

Hi everyone :cool1:

Ok- just so I'm clear- are we talking Oct 2007 or 2008?? Ya know mine, Lyzziesmom, Donna's and I think thats it Birthdays are in Oct  fyi I think we might be planning on going to Disney in early Sept this year because thats when Jeremiah's AP expires...Mine expired in November :sad2:

Bonnie, which Olive Garden did you go to?

The one off sudley road. That's the only one in Manassas, apparently.

Linda, I loved Coral Reef! Jeremiah & I ate there in Sept and my mom & I ate there at our meet...I don't even like seafood but its a beautiful atmosphere and they have a really good steak with au gratin potatoes! (not as good as 'Ohana's potatoes though!!) I think its a 'must do' for us from now on.

ETA: Here's a pic of the turtle that swam right by our table when we were eating! :upsidedow

Try to find some Upside-down-pineapple-carrot-pecan muffins for me, would 'ya??:woohoo: :woohoo:

BTW, I think April's birthday is in Ocober?? Maybe. :scratchin

I think I'm going to get off the computer for a while. I've been staring at this screen too long!! Catch you all later!!!:yay:

Thanks for all the info Linda. I don't think that price is bad at all. Especially with 2 years to save. I am totally clueless so I have another question. What does that include? Is it just for your room or is food included? And what about the shows and stuff? I really want to give it a try.

We're going to go and grab some dinner (its very late but we always seem to eat this late on the weekends :scratchin ) so I will check in later!!

Yes Donna April's birthday is October 25. I know she has always wanted to go to Disney for her birthday so she would probably be really excited.

Hey Linda another question. If you normally get car sick or sick on the airplane what about a cruise? I would think the boat would be big enough not to matter much with the waves but April gets really sick sometimes and I was wondering if it would bother her much.

I would LOVE to cruise in Oct! I have no idea if I'll be able to save enough, because I'd really like to take the girls too but that adds up fast, but I've been saying for a couple years now that I want to cruise for my birthday. And Lyzzie's birthday is in September, so that's close. Ashley - we might go this year in Sept too! Depends on when/if free dining is offered. I know they will be doing the little ones magic time or whatever they're calling it for preschoolers again this fall too, which is good for us. We loved seeing Johnny & the Sprites last year!

Well guys I'm off to bed. "See" you all tomorrow!

Good night, lyzziesmom!! :wave2:

Lyzziesmom- Yes, we are really hoping they release free dining in Sept! It's too hot in August to go, plus its alittle more crowded but Jeremiah's pass expires on September 22. Maybe we can arrange to be there at the same time if we can work it out, I can watch Emma/Lyzzie while you & Jeremiah ride all the scary rides I won't ride on ;) Have a great nights sleep!

Hi, Linda!!! That price is doable. I just assumed it was more $$$$$ than that.
Now I know!!:thumbsup2
That is for a cat. 12, the cheapest stateroom. It is $799 for the first two adults and then the 3rd is like 1/2 that price. For us, it usually ends up about 2k. I don't mind the cat 12's at all. At least I'm on the ship ;) Plus you might get free upgrades;) The cat 9 is great w/a porthole and a split bathroom. One has shower/sink, the other a sink and toilet. It is great when getting ready for dinner. I'm in cloud 9 just being onboard. You really aren't in your room much. It all depends on the time too b/c one week one way or the other can make a huge price difference.

 that would be a blast to celebrate on board!!!

That is awesome! Kenny would love that. Ok, we must try it, I'm sold!

That includes everything except alcohol and souvies!!! They sell snacks outside the theatre you can buy, but I usually don't. There is so much food that is included, we just usually don't buy much else. the chocolates they leave on your pillow everynight....OMG...they are delicious! they leave very large bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and lotion in your room daily too. Good stuff ;)

Kenny got car sick for the first time this trip, but he was fine on the ship. I usually take a dramamine on the first day, just to get use to the movement. You really don't feel it much, usually. On our last day, I'd go to our window and look straight down just to see if we were moving at all, we were going 4 knots:rotfl: , that is a turtles pace! It was wonderful though. They have everything set up in 3 sections. 1 for kids, 1 for family, 1 for adults. That is how the pools are set up and the beaches on their island. So, if you want to get away from the kiddos, you can ;) They tell you what characters will be where/when. It is great for autographs for the kids. Plus they have autograph sessions! You get to see tons more than at wdw. At wdw, we just usually pass most of them by b/c the lines. The food is incredible!!! The spa is wonderful. There is so much to do, there is really something for everyone.

Good morning Bonnie :)! How are you this morning?

oops....I forgot a few other expenses that are not included. By Oct. 08, we will all probably need passports, if you don't already have one. I think they're about $60 a piece:confused3 Adults are good for 10 yrs and kids 5 years. I think that is pretty close.

The other thing is gratuities...

3 night / 4 night / 7 night

Restaurant Server $11.00 / $14.75 / $25.75
Restaurant Asst Serv $ 8.00 / $10.75 / $18.75
Head Server $ 2.75 / $ 3.75 / $ 6.50
Stateroom Host/ees $10.75 / $14.50 / $25.25

depends how many nights. This is per person, per cruise. So, if we were doing a 7 night cruise you'd pay the $25.75, $18.75, $6.50 and $25.25 per person in your party for that weeks gratuities. They give you envelopes the last night to give to these people. You can charge them to your room acct. and they give you tickets to put in your envelope. Very easy. I think our 4 night cruise cost us like $130 for the 3 of us in gratuities. It really isn't bad. These people work non stop! That is just the suggested amount of coarse ;)

Good Morning everyone!

Hi to Tricia & Joanne! Jump in anytime!

2x-- Hope the sun is out today!

I would love to go on an '08 cruise. Ok, I can't remember who asked but you do need to bring $ to tip-- your cabin steward, waiters, etc... You will also need to pay for your shore excursions.

Amber-- glad the fire was put out. Some people just don't think things through, do they?

YM - we haven't hit the snowfall record yet, but we still have 3 months left where we will get snow.

Lyzziesmom-- My brother lives in Japan and they have some different customs there!

Well, I'd better go get ready for church. I'll pop back in later! Have a great day!

Morning guys! What a nice bright morning greeting we got from Bonnie today! You guys are killing me with all this cruise talk... I really want to go now!

Ashley: I read to Lyzzie what you said about watching the girls while Jeremiah & I ride all the scary rides, she thought that was funny & sweet. But she said she IS going to ride Everest! Actually that would probably work out great if we were there at the same time. We'll just have to wait & see what Disney does with that time of year.

I was planning on just having a relaxing "pajama day" today, but we ran out of milk and the kids' 2 favorite cereals this morning, so it looks like I'll have to hop in the shower after all and get out to the grocery store. Ugh, my least favorite kind of shopping, it feels like throwing money away every time we buy something that we don't end up eating.

See you all later, have a Super Sunday!

Good Morning Everyone!!! Bonnie, I just loved your cheery good morning. It makes me wish spring was here now!!!

Linda you are making this cruise sound more and more doable. I would be totally lost if I didn't have such cuise experts to go to.:thumbsup2

Have fun grocery shopping Lyzziesmom. I hate doing that too but I usually con Matt into going with me so I don't have to go alone.;)

Well I hope you all have a great Sunday. Chat with you later.
