I'm pretty sure there are waiting lists for the nursing schools though... I'll have to get serious and get this stuff started! Plus I was thinking maybe they might let me continue to work a few days a week or something just to slowly transition. I only worked 3 days a week for the first 3 years Kenny was born. That was great!!! I'm just not sure how demanding school will be. I think an accelerated program may be the way to go I better get busy and find out some details. I'm sure there are some pre-req. classes I'll have to take first... school....wow, it's been years! Better now than never!

How exciting to have something like this to plan for!!

OK, I'm no expert on things sports-related, but I view myself as being logical and level-headed, and HOW CAN THAT BE? Who was in charge of noting final results and distribution of ribbons? Something's not right. I think somehow that other time got written down wrong. Did somebody mistake one of your DW's numbers?

I’m not sure who was in charge of recording times Monday night. The entire night was chaos. There were SO MANY swimmers that night. They used the electronic timers and a lot of the time they were not working correctly. DW was just recording Chase and Colton’s time on her paper just for her own benefit.

Chase was somewhat disappointed that he didn’t get a 1st place ribbon. But I told him that WE know he won and that’s the main thing. It isn’t something to get overly worked up over.

The only problem with that, is the odds of getting to the pro or even semi pro level are very slim. We just use wrestling as a vehicle to get an education. (just have to watch out ya don't get the bugs!)

Good Morning everyone!

Boy have you all been a chatty group lately. I'm getting up earlier so I have time to catch up in the mornings before work. A girl's gotta' have priorities.... sleep....Dis....Dis.... sleep....

Well today is my big cleaning day before the party. I think it's going to be fun. It's a fun group of people.

We leave in one week to get the final info about the new job. I'm starting to get anxious. I'm ready to get it settled and then make a plan for how all this is going to go. I'm excited, my husband's excited... Keagan....not so much. He doesn't want to leave his friends and grandparents. It breaks my heart that he's upset. What I do know is that he seems to make friends where ever we go...stores, playgrounds, parks and vacations. I know in my head he'll make new friends and it will be ok, it's just the heart that's having a little trouble.

Well, today is also the day that my little kitty has surgery to make him an it. He's sitting at my feet, meowing like crazy because he's hungry and I can't feed him before the surgery. Silly kitty!

The new job sounds exciting! Keagan will come around. Both my girls still have a hard time being away from family and we moved over a year ago. They still call it "home" and when we go for a visit they say we're going home. It took them a while before they realized this is where we'll be for awhile and they started making friends. What kind of surgury is kitty having?

well thank you! I think it would be so awesome! Such a variety of areas you can go into...definitely job security our bosses here think that if you quit here, you might as well go sign up for welfare b/c you'll never have it as good somewhere else yeah, whatever! they've actually made comments to the guys like that. The one guys wife was expecting and he told him if he kept it up his baby would know what the inside of a welfare office looked like what a jerk! They've never talked to me like that but it gets bad for the guys Then the guys are constantly complaining, screaming, whining and I just can't take much more.

Oh...by the way....I had to lie to the people on the plane that I was talking too on the way down to our meet. You guys were old college friends...I didn't want them to think I was wierd and stop talking to me.

At least the next time we have a meet we'll all know each other; then we won't have to make up stories. Which college did we go to, BTW???

You guys are too funny! What are our school colors. That is important, because some are really ugly. Like orange, who wants their school colors to be orange? I like our fight song!

Not really, yet I would love about anything w/kids or infants...but I'm pretty easy to please. I'm sure it will take awhile to see what all your choices really are.

I told my boss awhile back that I'd love to get into nursing and he asked me why I'd set myself up like that. B/c you'd have patients die or something...could you deal with that... sorry, but that IS part of the life process! If a crack baby died b/c the drugs the mother used, I can't help that. I'd feel sorry for that poor baby, but you can only worry about the things YOU control! they're so annoying

Exactly! I want to leave SO bad!! I have a paperweight on my desk..I love it...it says : Success is the best revenge!

Everytime a past employee has a new employer calling verifying employment, they chuckle and say...guess their other job didn't work out... and their head just swells... I can't stand it.
