WDW was the first to use the 911 Emergency System in the state of Florida.
Yep...we have a winner...again!!

well thank you!:cloud9: I think it would be so awesome! Such a variety of areas you can go into...definitely job security::yes:: our bosses here think that if you quit here, you might as well go sign up for welfare b/c you'll never have it as good somewhere else:lmao: yeah, whatever! they've actually made comments to the guys like that. The one guys wife was expecting and he told him if he kept it up his baby would know what the inside of a welfare office looked like:eek: what a jerk! They've never talked to me like that but it gets bad for the guys:sad2: Then the guys are constantly complaining, screaming, whining and I just can't take much more.

What a butt!! You need to get out of there!! You will make a great nurse!!

:lmao: :rotfl2: You guys are too funny! What are our school colors. That is important, because some are really ugly. Like orange, who wants their school colors to be orange?:sad2: I like our fight song!:lmao:

Maybe black and red???

I like that...and just think...some of us already have our varsity jackets!!:rotfl:

Black with red or red with black?:rotfl2:

Linda: Your boss sounds like a real................. You will be good in whatever area you go in. I have often thought about going into nursing, it would either be with kids or the elderly.

Lesa...you would be really good at nursing.

That is what I wanted to do when I was younger. But I didn't like the whole school thing:sad2:

well thank you so much. It would be nice to have a job you can be passionate about again. My mom works w/the elderly and she loves it. They're so appreciative to have someone around that actually cares. It just melts your heart! I have this picture of kids with cancer, or had to have surgery or something, and you can just make their day a little brighter, happier, maybe help them forget about all the medical things going on.:cloud9: What a great feeling that would be! Endless possibilities:cloud9: !!! There are plenty of elderly in Florida:rolleyes1

you would be awesome in nursing too!!

Morning, afternoon and evening! I hope everyone has a great day. I'll try to stop in later tonight!

Way to go pozey!!

Yes, I need to get out of here. I keep asking myself why I'm still here. I will be fine w/o this place. In fact, much better and much happier! You just get so use to that check coming:rolleyes1 I'll adjust;)

Yes, Lesa would be really good at nursing!

I don't mind the schooling. I think I'll be ok, now that I have such a wonderful dh to support me:cloud9:

Local bridal studio gets dress deal with Disney
Feb 22, 2007

Gainesville Sun - Disney chose a bridal shop with roots in Gainesville to be the first to offer a line of bridal gowns based on Disney characters.

Solutions Bridal Designer House in Winter Park will be the first store to carry 35 gown designs based on characters like Cinderella and Snow White as Disney enters the bridal market.

Newell Fox opened the first Solutions Bridal in Gainesville at 6450 Archer Road in 2002 and opened the shop in Winter Park 14 months later.

Fox quoted Disney officials as saying they get 83,000 requests a year for some type of fairy-tale wedding - "everything from pulling up in Cinderella's horse-drawn carriage to the low-end."

Winter Park customers often buy a gown and "go right over to Disney and get married," he said.

Disney officials declined to comment Wednesday, citing an exclusive news arrangement they have with the Wall Street Journal.

But Fox said Disney contacted him after visiting the Winter Park shop. Solutions Bridal's Web site describes the shops as having "a New York loft feel with a Miami vibe and Southern hospitality."

"It's very clean, very open, very modern and we carry the best names as far as bridal labels and bridal designers in the country," Fox said.

Another store will also carry the new line near Disneyland in California.

The Disney line will be introduced during the annual New York Bridal Market Week on April 15, Fox said. Disney will then host a "trunk show" staffed by Solutions Bridal at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort before the line is offered through the store in late April or early May.

"I think it's a great opportunity for us," Fox said. "We're very honored to be selected by such an illustrious company like Disney.

Does that sound cool or what!?!? I can't wait to see pictures of the dresses!! I have to keep Briana from seeing these or that is what she will want.....MANY years from now!!

I forgot about our varsity jackets!:rotfl2:

OMG, Michele. I can NOT show that bridal gown info to my DD.

Linda - I don't know you, never met you, but it sounds like you're looking into a perfect career choice - just based on what I do know of you! I certainly hope it works for you. Starting college from scratch - wow.
Your boss sounds like an @$$.

Yolanda - hugs for the kids - It's amazing how resiliant they are, it won't be easy but surely they'll adjust and make new friends. Poor kitty... what's wrong w/ kitty?

Good job, Pozey! (did you cheat again?)

UOD - I'm for the Mickey colors - red, black, yellow. Great fight song, BTW.

Thank you! If I thought I could get through the schooling. If only I started it 20 years ago!:scared1: Wow, I'm old!!!
I love working with elderly for that very reason! They just appreciate everything you do for them. I love listening to their old stories too!

:scared1: Did you see that! The damn smilies moved before my very eyes!:scared1:

I'm watching Court TV, they have the hearing for Anna Nicole :happytv: On the stand is the wife of someone who was in a movie with Anna. :confused3 :rotfl2: I think it was the lawyer for Anna's mother fell on the floor.:lmao: Why don't they just cremate the body and each gets a portion. ;) I don't think I'd want to view the body after all this time.:scared:

That's the thing w/nursing school. there really are students of all ages. Literally. My moms friend was telling me that a lady that was in her 60's just finished nursing school.:cheer2: If she can do it...I can do it:cheer2: I miss listening to my great grandpa tell stories:cloud9: he was 93 when he passed away. He had his mind 100%. I'd be traveling all over the country and he'd know exactly where I was. And tell us jokes:rotfl: Oh, I miss him!!!

Thank you! Oh, wait…….that probably was not directed at me, huh?? Oops. :joker:
:lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl2:

Sewer, with all due respect - all this talk of wrestling and the 'bugs' that go along with it... EWWWWW. As a mom, I don't think I could encourage a kiddo of mine to participate... not that it's even an option at our house. But if it was....

Kids can, and will get some sort of skin problems in any sport they participate in, and it depends on what level of participation. We compete on a national level, and you never know what you're going to run into. The most common form is ringworm, and yes baseball, football, and soccer players get it.

I saw your thread. I think this is fantastic news.

The one major thing I was hoping for if and when Disney decided to add ships was to make them bigger. I don't know why.....I just like the big mega-ships.

bigger and better:banana: :cheer2: :yay: where is Dznyfan? Erin can work on the NEW ships:rolleyes1 That just made my day. I love DCL...and I'm so glad they're expanding. I can't wait to see the new itineraries and details on the new ships!!!!:drive: I'm ready to go now... 2011 and 2012... I've got a long time to celebrate:teeth:
