Pozey - the cheesecake was fabulous and everyone who had any raved about it. I tried to cut it into as many slices as possible (it was HEAVY!), and I think I got about 16 slices out of it - not enough for everyone that was there...

I didn't know you were going to make it. Sounds like it turned out well! Yes, it is usually VERY heavy. I always cut it into pretty small pieces, and people will sometimes say something about the piece being small.......until they start eating it.....

Dznyfan Thanks for the Panera this morning, I love that place! I really could've gone to Disney but I wonder if dh would've ok'd that since we will be there in 30 something days. There's always next time! I can't wait to hear about the trip when everyone gets home.

Well, it was a big night finacially for my friend last night at our Super Bowl party. She won $100 at her offices' Super Bowl Square numbers game.

I told her that I thought that "the house" should get 30% of the winnings. That seems fair, right?

The brisket turned out FANTASTIC!! And yes, there are leftovers....

The brisket I smoked was a little over 10 pounds, and we ended up having about 1/3 of it left. That's fine with me.......lunch for a few days.

Well, it is currently 54 degrees in Kissimmee right now. And it is approximately 9:40 local Disney time, so I would venture to guess that the cliqueless crew is NOT riding Kali River Rapids.

And riding Expedition Everest might FEEL like they are on Mt. Everest.

That being said, I would trade places with them in a heartbeat!!

Well, the boys have their last duel swim meet tonight before the finals in 2 weeks. Tonight it is just their team against the team from the Boys and Girls Club (where Colton and Chase go to before and after school).

Hopefully they will swim as well as they did last week.

It's going to be a mad scramble after work. Usually on days of their meets, I work through lunch and leave a little early. That way I can stop and get them something light to eat before the meet. But I have meetings today from 2 – 4:30. It will take me nearly half an hour to go pick them up, then another half an hour to get to the meet.

I may just have to stop and get them a couple of energy bars and some bananas to eat before they swim.

. In Minnesota today the high was -2 and the low temps with wind chill felt like -24

I got a postcard today from WDW from April today!! So sweet for her to send some of the magic up this way

Mmmm...the Poly....I want to go back so bad!!!!

I grew up in Minnesota...and I loved it...but whenever I miss it I think of days like this and laugh at my sister who moved back! Mwah-ha-ha-ha!!!!!!

I just got home from work. I stopped for gas on the way at Kroger and everyone was standing around. When I got out of the car the guy next to me told me that they had a power outage and their server was down and they couldn't get their pumps up. He looked a little panicked so I asked him what was up. Turns out his wife had gone into labor, her mom had taken her to the hospital and he had left work to go home for the suitcase and meet his FIL. He was past empty and didn't think he could make it to the next station. I offered to follow him and he was going to take me up on it but his FIL was stuck in line inside the Kroger getting some supplies for the wife! He was so cute and nervous and excited.
