YM, I work at a bank now. I do government reporting and pay some of our accounts. No one around here really understands what I do; I've given up trying to explain to them.
Mike's company is a minute from our house, but he is a salesperson so he is on the road each day. Every morning he drives me to work. We usually see each other for lunch. I love it!


I can't believe your trip is so soon. I would love to be in FL right now. It snowed yesterday. I had no idea it was even supposed to. When I opened the door to let the dogs out, there was a inch!

Yeah, me too, but I'm sure it is. I pointed it out to my DH last night - he looked up at it, then went back to watching the game or whatever he was doing. This is normal, and SO FRUSTRATING!!! I went around the house and looked for other leaks - I need to go in my garage because we do have one in there that he's done nothing about for a year... it leaks when we get a really strong rainstorm. Ice damming, I guess this is called - our friends' foyer ceiling is currently ripped out for the same thing. Heck, I guess we'll just let ours rot out.

A few years back I had my roof replaced, but because I live in Ohio we can get an ice back up very easy in the winter. So, I had a rubberized mastic placed at the end of the roof plus an alluminum edge on top of that before the new shingles went on.

Linda: That's how I was yesterday! For some reason, I couldn't get to sleep Saturday night and then when I did, I didn't sleep well. I was pretty tired yesterday, but it's really catching up to me today! I slept great last night, I finally got my electric blanket from my mom's house... it was so hard to drag myself out of my nice toasty bed this morning! Do both the beach and WDW - easy for you to say, you're the one going on the cruise!

What is/did everyone have for lunch? I had to go to Target to replace Emma's broken tiara. I hope the new one doesn't break too. I didn't really eat but I picked up a bunch of snacks to keep in my drawer because I was fresh out. One box of expensive cookies wouldn't ring up, so the manager said, just charge $1.00! I got an awesome set of lipsticks too, they are so cute, they come with a little lipliner that perfectly matches each color. I just love new stuff!

Ok as you see I'm literally 2x2slp I did my online check in last night for the cruise. It gave me our stateroom #...I wake up thinking "holy crap...there are cat. 9's on deck 2 "...I lay there for another few hrs. finally I can't take it anymore...I'm up on the dis checking to see what category they gave us. We paid for a 12 hoping to upgrade at the port. They upgraded us free to a cat. 9!!! Talk about pixy dust. I'm still hoping to upgrade to a cat 6 for the verandah, but at least this way, if there aren't any available...we got a cat.9 oceanview...whoo hoo!!! Ok, sorry, I just had to share that

Yippee!!!!!

Amazing Race and, shamefully, Big Brother are the two that I watch. I missed the last season of Amazing Race but I have to watch All-Stars! Who else is on it?

So, I couldn't get my heart to work the first time and yours isn't. Just double click mine and copy those properties, I don't think the whole URL was in the PM I got and I just forwarded it!

Oh, I am, and with a couple of Pina Coladas in hand!!!!

Lin: my heart works just fine. In the PM there are spaces between the IMG tags and the rest of the URL, and you have to delete the spaces, maybe that is why it didn't work? I did the ol' right-click on the link, click on Properties and highlight the URL, and added it to my sig that way. It's very cute BTW, thanks!!

I just did the right click, properties, copy paste thingy the second try and it worked fine.

Chris bought "Mom's traditional Tomato Basil" and it is the best!!!

If any of you have a La Madeline near you it is actually better than the tomato basil they serve!

I love the truffles at wdw and the chocolates they leave on your pillow on the cruise oh boy! I'm bringing home a bunch of those !! Mike and I decided not to go overboard and do much for V-day this year. No biggie...I've gotten him a sweet card and I'm sure I'll get him something down there..that's about it.

There are times I wished I still did it. I left because of the commute (it was the same as yours, about 3 hours total). Now, there are labs closer, but I like my current job (although the pay stinks). It's literally two minutes from my house.

That sounds like me! The school is less than 1/2 a mile from the house!

2x: Where are you Cupcake? I know how you disappear when things are less than ideal - hope everything's ok. Just think... we will be on that Poly beach in no time!

Ashley: you too darlin', hope you're alright.

I forgot to report on the new Plum book, "Plum Lovin'." I was surprised at how thin the book was. It was cute - a very entertaining read (of course) that took me all of 2 nights. A lot like the other "in between" book, but this one was based around V-Day and it did move the plot along a little bit, but not too much. Highly recommended!

Emma's new tiara broke too when I opened it, so it'll be back to Target again tomorrow for me. I was so upset... No more $1 tiaras at Target! The toy department was sold out of tiaras, so I might try the dollar store. I'll probably just end up getting her one at WDW, if at all. She's not really a fan of wearing things on her head, but how can she be a princess without a crown?

Try Claires or Afterthoughts for a Tiara! They usually have some cute ones. Or Libby Lu if there is one near you.

I still want to read the Plum books. Right now I am reading The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield and it is FABULOUS! I wish it was a series!
