I forgot to tell you guys a cute story that happened at work yesterday.

I had just gotten totally yelled at by a lady who was just mean and cranky and then this little boy and his dad were ready to buy his stuff. He gets up to the counter and asks if he can tell me a joke. I of course say yes and he gets all excited. And the jokes were just cracking him up. He could barely keep a straight face and get through the joke. The first one was, "Why didn't the skeleton corss the road? Because he had no guts!" And then he cracked up and kept asking if I got it. The second one was "Why is 6 afraid of 7? Becasue 7, 8, 9!! Get it, 7 ATE 9! It ate 9 for dinner!!!" He was so cute. I got him back...
Knock Knock?
Whos There?
Nobody
Nobody Who?

He died laughing once he got it. He startes yelling to his dad, who is right next to him, "Get it! Dad, there isn't anyone at the door! Nobody is there dad, Nobody!"

He made me think of Kenny.

Michele: I usually do a bright pink or deep pinkish-red on my toes. It gets darker every couple of weeks, because I will paint right over it in a slightly darker shade rather than take it off every time. I go for pinker in the summer and bolder colors in the winter (if anything!), because nobody's going to see them anyway. Sometimes I'll even break out the bright blue or purple! I have never done a french manicure on my toes, the nails are just too darn small. I'd love to have a pedicure one day - can you believe I've never had one?

I completely agree with you... it is always the man's fault. If it wasn't, it should have been. ;)

I've never had a pedicure either. I keep thinking I should have one before we go but...then I think that is money I need to save for Disney:tinker:

I need to run, but I have to post this.......

Courtney has been going non-stop all day. Then I turn the corner and.......

IMG_4199.jpg

She just couldn't go any farther.

Pozey...I love the picture. Matt used to do things like that. Once he was ready for sleep neither God nor money wouldn't keep him awake. Esp at friends houses we would often find him asleep behind the furniture.:lmao:

YM - almost melted down here. The yards are still covered, the street is clear in patches. I just looked up and see a dark spot on the ceiling.... going to go and look over our house really good. This we don't need.

:scared1: Oh NO!!! I hope it is not a leak! That would just add insult to injury with the weather you guys have had

Actually, Jeremiah just told me it wasn't a foot. He just told me it was more like 8 inches. Hey, I'm from Florida, it seemed like a lot to me!!!!

Men are the reason that women can't judge size. They keep telling us that things are bigger than they appear:rolleyes1 I can't believe I wrote that, sorry Pozey!

OK on that note I am going to sleep now. See you all in the morning:upsidedow

Posts: 29 We just got back from our WDW trip yesterday.

Both of us wore a bright orange T-shirt that said "I Support Tigger" to MGM. I'm pretty shy, but it was neat to be able to show support for a cause.

We got a lot of comments from cast members, ranging from "I like your shirt" to full discussions on the unfairness of it all. One cast member even took us to the front of the line at Tower of Terror. Wheee!

We won't be wearing these again, so if anyone is going soon and wants a set of Men's medium orange "I support Tigger" T-shirts (worn once, washed twice), for $10 paypal, feel free to send a PM

Good one, Michele!

:yay: :cheer2: Ok as you see I'm literally 2x2slp  I did my online check in last night for the cruise. It gave me our stateroom #...I wake up thinking "holy crap...there are cat. 9's on deck 2:cool1: "...I lay there for another few hrs. finally I can't take it anymore...I'm up on the dis checking to see what category they gave us. We paid for a 12 hoping to upgrade at the port. They upgraded us free to a cat. 9!!! Talk about pixy dust. I'm still hoping to upgrade to a cat 6 for the verandah, but at least this way, if there aren't any available...we got a cat.9 oceanview...whoo hoo!!! Ok, sorry, I just had to share that ;)

Yesterday she decided to nap in Lyzzie's bed, but it turned out she really just wanted to poop in Lyzzie's bed! (in her diaper of course but it still grosses Lyzzie out which Emma thinks is hilarious)

Linda: Mr. Kenny is famous! Too funny. I guess in a way he is, because a lot of people know who he is even though he doesn't know them.

:lmao: poor Lyzzie ;) I bet Emma loves it!!

Linda - telecommunications? I've got a couple friends who are/have been in that industry - it's so volatile!! Decent money, but lots of layoffs. One is still in the industry, but in the admin end; the other used to be an SS7 tech and is now a science teacher (her choice). Your company pays a LOT better than mine does. I work for a company that is kind of like a Disney - pays on the low end of the scale, but the benefits are really good. I've got great working conditions, too. So... I sacrifice in the pay department.
yeah, our office specifically makes more $ than most of our other offices. Then again, that must be why I haven't gotten a raise in 7 years and they tell us we're all topped out. Darn it! I like my job, I just hate the 3 hr.'s driving. Hope you don't have any leaks!!

Actually, Jeremiah just told me it wasn't a foot. He just told me it was more like 8 inches. Hey, I'm from Florida, it seemed like a lot to me!!!!
yeah, Michele is right...its usually the other way around. Its 8" and they tell us its 12" ;)

I didn't watch them on Survivor but my mom did, Chris and I used to be big fans of Amazing Race and when they went on there we realized what a low life Rob is...I wish people would stop paying them for being stupid. I mean COME ON!

Girl, you are a saint for driving that! How long have you been doing it for?

I so wish I was going! I want to meet Emma and Kenny so bad...so I can see Emma eat his fries!

Oh, and I love Kelly Clarkson...

I did that with a jar of pickles one day. I was home for lunch and I couldn't open the jar and it just flew right off the counter and onto the floor where it shattered into tiny pieces and pickles and pickle juice went everywhere! I wish there had been a camera filming while I tried to scope a dog into each arm then do the squat-walk to get them outside while barefoot! It would have been hilarious to see! Then my kitchen smelled like pickles for weeks...

Eek, me too! I had my nails redone before going to Florida but my toes are still from my sisters wedding...and my fingernails look like poop!

Yeah, I'm w/ya on Rob and Amber...!! In March it will be 8 years I've been driving to Columbus. Actually there are quite a few people around here that either drive to Columbus or Cleveland to work. We're right between the two. My sil just started driving to Columbus and every time I see her she's like...I don't know how you do it. Its one of those things...you just do it :) Pickles... my mom tells me when I was little I brought her a jar of pickles for her to open. She slept in a waterbed and I spilled it in her bed:laughing: oops!

He made me think of Kenny.

Awww...that is too adorable!! I wish you could go too!!!! I wish we could all be there.

:rotfl: isn't that the truth!!!::yes:: in most cases that is pozey ;)

cool!!! I might have to make one! Heck, if it gets us to the front of the line...I'll wear a tigger shirt ;):cheer2:

OK... you all have a great day.

Good morning, Crew!!! WOW!!! I see Linda (congrats on the upgrade, btw) and Michele are the early birds today!!!

I hope you all have "A Year of a Million Dreams" Monday!!:wizard:

Hi, again!! Just wanted to post a bit before signing off.

April:: Sorry about your ketchup mishap!!! I've done that before with spaghetti sauce and salsa....not fun.:scared:

pozey:: What an adorable pic of Courtney!!! Such a little ball of energy...all pooped out!!!

Michele:: Talking about kids and snowball fights. Nathan was playing in the inch of snow we got yesterday. He made dozens of perfectly rounds snowballs and stacked them in the garage behind my car! He was sooo excited about them that he had me come to look. I explained to him that they were going to ge smashed when I left to go to the store. I don't know what he ever did with all of them, but he had gone to sooo much work, bless his heart.
Good luck picking out the perfect toe polish color. I have an appointment for a manicure tomorrow, but I've never had a pedicure.

Hi and bye to everyone!!! Must get ready for work. Have a great day!!!

Good Morning Everyone!

April, I'm still catching up so if you have already received info disregard. I wasn't a respiratory therapist, but a polysomnographic tech (I did sleep studies- CPAP, BiPAP, PSG's, etc). A lot of RT's end up going into to sleep. I liked my job a lot. The pay was great and there is a HUGE need for good sleep techs. I still get calls from doctors wanting me to interview with them. I mostly worked Monday - Thursday 8pm - 6am (depending on hospital I would work 9pm - 7am). Most days I was off before 6am. I did end up going down to 3 days a week. If you want more info, let me know.

thanks for a wonderful breakfast Donna :) Maybe Nathan stashed those snowballs for a later use;) I could see Kenny doing that, then throwing them at me when I least expect it.

Amber...that's awesome. Sounds like a great job. I would love 3 days a week.

There are times I wished I still did it. I left because of the commute (it was the same as yours, about 3 hours total). Now, there are labs closer, but I like my current job (although the pay stinks). It's literally two minutes from my house.

Amber...what kind of job do you have now? Wow...2 minutes from home is perfect!

Donna...thanks for the french toast!:goodvibes

Linda...congrats on the upgrade...maybe you will be our lucky YOAMD winner (you know a night in the castle).:yay:

Oops...gotta run and get DS some breakfast! Maybe he could could have some french toast with me.;)

Now wait a minute, I represent that remark! :rotfl2:

2 minutes:faint: that would be so awesome. Mike drove about 4 miles..I would be in heaven w/a commute like that!!!

Oh that would be so awesome!!! I wonder how many it sleeps? A dozen or so of us:scratchin I'm really hoping we all get some goodies. Enjoy your breakfast.

Good morning crew!

Lyzziesmom-- cute photos!

Pozey-- I used to love it when Keagan feel asleep like that!

Well, the snow has stopped and we got about 9 inches. The forecast is saying that we are going to hit a warm spell the middle of this week ( 40 degrees) :cool1:

Well, gotta get breakfast together. I'll try and check back later.

Lin: I know a really good knock-knock joke! Want to hear it? Ok... you start. ;) (That one gets the kids every time!)

Men are the reason that women can't judge size. They keep telling us that things are bigger than they appear:rolleyes1 I can't believe I wrote that, sorry Pozey!

Michele: too funny!

Donna: Poor Nathan, going to all that trouble to make the snowballs & then stacking them in the worst possible place. I wonder where he moved them to. Have you checked your freezer?? :rotfl:

Amber: You gotta love a short commute. I am about 5 minutes from home, and about 10-15 minutes from my parents' house. Of course, my job is right in the middle of the two, so I have to go 20 mins to get the girls to mom's house in the morning, then 15 mins back to work. But it's still pretty good, I love being able to go home at lunchtime, even though I rarely do.

I can't believe it's only 11 days until we are in WDW!! I'm getting so excited, it doesn't even seem like it's really happening.

Linda: I almost forgot... that's great news on your pixie dusted upgrade! Let's hope your luck holds out in the parks. Lyzzie has already requested that if I win Mickey ears or a pin/lanyard set, I bring it home for her. I told her I will see what I can do!

Good Morning!

Thanks for breakfast Donna!

:rotfl:

Linda- Yay! You got an upgrade!!!:cool1:

Lin- That kid is cute!

Amber- You are lucky, working so close to home. My drive is about 10 or 15 mins.

ConventionEars- Your trip is coming up so fast!!!! How exciting!:yay:

Okay--

I'm back for a quick minute. I love the Amazing race, so I'm excited for it to start up again, even with Rob & Amber on it.

Soooo, who would like to join me here?
IMG_1325.jpg

Nothing like a little Jamaica in the morning :)

Lin, thanks for the heart!!!! I'll try and pass it on today!

Well, I need to go dry my hair before I take my son to school. Have a great day everyone!

Morning, guys! Donna, that breakfast looks SO good!!

I didn't watch them on Survivor but my mom did, Chris and I used to be big fans of Amazing Race and when they went on there we realized what a low life Rob is...I wish people would stop paying them for being stupid. I mean COME ON!
YAY!! Someone else who thinks he's an idiot!! That guy (that couple, actually) has gotten so much air time - Survivor, Amazing Race their Wedding (who cares???), Amazing Race all stars(?) and he's such a donkey.

DznyFan...I hope that dark spot on the ceiling is not from the ice? My DH was looking around for wet spots just tonight. I wasn't sure why and he siad some about ice backing up uder the shingles? I hope not.
Yeah, me too, but I'm sure it is. I pointed it out to my DH last night - he looked up at it, then went back to watching the game or whatever he was doing. This is normal, and SO FRUSTRATING!!! I went around the house and looked for other leaks - I need to go in my garage because we do have one in there that he's done nothing about for a year... it leaks when we get a really strong rainstorm. Ice damming, I guess this is called - our friends' foyer ceiling is currently ripped out for the same thing. Heck, I guess we'll just let ours rot out. :furious:
