pozey: thank you so much for the compliments on the pictures, and on Lyzzie's eyes! All 3 of us have almost the same blue eyes. Mine are slightly greyer, Lyzzie's are lighter like her dad's. Emma's are exactly like mine. It's funny, because blue is supposed to be recessive, but in my family it is not. I laughed out loud at the picture of Courtney sleeping! Little girls are just so precious when they are asleep. So sorry you didn't get overtime. But salary has its little perks too. I don't know if it's the same everywhere, but at my last job the salaried employees got paid for the day if they were present for any portion - so some would come for 1/2 hour then leave for the day. SO not fair to those of us who used up all our sick time on Dr. appointments and school functions. I'm so glad you liked my pictures - coming from you that really means a lot! Since you always have such beautiful pictures and all. I love how the picture of Courtney & the babysitter is focused on them and the background is blurry. How do you do that? I've been trying that with my new camera, with manually focusing, but I just can't quite get it.
Hi Ashley! Yes, that is the tv that my parents got me. I was afraid it was too big for my armoire, but as you can see it fits as if it was custom-made! My dad did get it at Target the day after Thanksgiving. I'm glad everyone likes my bathroom! That was the one room I had no idea how to 'fix' - all that pink! The tile & countertop are still pink but I think it goes very well with the brown. My mom thought it would be too dark but she likes it now. I just love it, it seems so peaceful. I'm not sure how you can find out where to find GS cookies, but I know on the box is printed girlscouts.org - I haven't checked it out but I thought maybe it would tell you where they are being sold locally, or maybe you can order from there? I'm so sorry you can't make it for the trip next month. You'll have to be sure to come next time! (Because of course there WILL be a next time!)
Linda: I agree with DznyFan - a broken bottle of wine is such a waste! This evening I was enjoying a wine cooler and Emma asked me what I had. I told her wine, and she said, "Can I try some wine?" I said no of course. A little while later, she said, "Can I have some wine... in my sippy?" Which to me is about the funniest sentence I have ever heard.
I have not seen Click but I wanted to. I think I am going to have to sign up for Netflix again. I used to have it, but I quit when I realized I had the same movie for 4 months and hadn't found the time to watch it. I don't even remember now what it was, but I know it wasn't even very good. But now that I have the 2nd tv, I could probably find more time. I don't even need a new DVD player - my portable can hook up to a tv and even has a tiny little remote!
Goodnight crew, I'm going to try to get some sleep now. I've been crabby all day and had one of those days where I just wanted to strangle the kids if they whined one more time. I felt bad later, because I yelled at them and they really weren't being that bad - just loud & rowdy like kids will be. I hope I'm in a better mood tomorrow.
