Lesa ...that is too cute Madison was right out there trying to sell those cookies. 27 boxes is pretty good in that short amount of time. :cool1:

lyzziesmom... that is pretty weird that they work less than 40. It isn't so bad w/ our guys b/c they do work ot and since they travel some. They get per diem when they're like 80 miles from home. That is a nice $80 extra per day for living expenses TAX FREE. My x made about an extra 25k a year on ot and per diem!!! I use to install and travel too but once Kenny came around, I had to be where I could be home!! The bad thing is when it is slow...they work 32 hr weeks:eek: At least this way, my check is consistant ;)

pozey..must try BWW:goodvibes Now I'm hungry for it!:rolleyes1

Hi Nicole! :wave2:

Hi Linda! :wave2:

Morning everyone!!

Hope everyone has a swell Sunday!! :hippie:

Hi everyone:yay:

I'm feeling much better today. Although I had a hard time falling asleep last night since I slept so much yesterday afternoon. Even when my headache went away my eyes still hurt. My vision was fine, it felt like I was really straining to see. I used to wear glasses until I had the RK surgery in 1999. Even after all these years when my eyes bother me I have afraid it is some weird complication:confused3

Pozey....Love the picture of Courtney asleep, she looks like a little angel.
Blake is salary also. Which was nice when the kids were younger and I needed him to take time off for a school event or appt. But mainly he gets shafted. Esp when he is out of town, he will work 15-18 hours and gets nothing extra. He used to get mileage, which was nice check to get, but then they gave him a company car, which is even nicer, since they pay for everything!! So I guess it does even out in the end.

We were going to run some errands this afternoon but he is out driving with Matt. Briana never takes her car on the expressway and the engine needs to be runout, so Matt is going to do it. God Help us all!! Good thing none of you live around here:rolleyes1

Donna, thanks for breakfast. You really are a doll!!:cutie:

My parents don't really drink so we were never given any alcohol when we were little. I never gave any to our kids either. I can remember being around 12 and having terrible cramps so this crazy lady that my mom was friends with insisted she had the perfect cure...she had me drink WHISKEY!!! Needless to say I threw up all over her. She didn't offer anymore 'cures' after that!:lmao:

I am starting to get really excited about our trip. It didn't seem real for a long time. I am trying to figure out what clothes to bring...is it too early to pack??:cool1:

Have a great one!

With all of the drinks, and goodies, I'll be a mess by noon!:rotfl:

It's past noon... howya doing?

Emma cracks me up! I love the whole "wine in a sippy cup" comment! I love the pics. Your bathroom looks great. And since we're on the topic of girl scout cookies, the "lemonade" cookies, are they like the other lemon ones that were discontinued last year? My dad loved those, I was a girl scout as a kid and we would have to order a case just for him and of course they would be gone in a week!

I don't know if the lemonades are like the old ones, I don't think I ever had them. They are really good though, light and citrusy shortbread. Yumm!

Lesa: 27 boxes, wow that's a lot! Lyzzie sold about 12. Of course, they tell the girls not to go door to door, only to sell to people they know. And there are at least 3 other girl scouts in the neighborhood so they got there first. Also, it was right around the time I was changing jobs so I didn't take the order form to work - I'm sure I could have sold a lot that way.

Wow an extra $25k a year? That is almost as much as I make total! :scared1: I was on salary at my first fulltime job, about 13 years ago, and I loved it. Of course I was making next to nothing, but not having to worry about every little minute was great. I agree, the place I work now is totally weird about time & time off. You can't take sick time in less than 1/2 day increments, so if you have a Dr. appointment you either have to take 4 hours off, or get docked for the hour or so it may take, or make up the time by not taking lunches. I hate it.

I can't believe it!

Blake just called....Briana's car DIED!! and he is about 40 minutes away! He is calling AAA and I have to go out and pick them up.

Briana is going to blow a gasket when I tell her.

Wish me luck!!

Thank you. She did look like a little angel.

Couple questions about your pictures.......

What kind of camera do you have?

Can you show me examples of the background washed out? Do you mean the background is blurry? Or too white?

I think they are just all white...when I get home I will post one..oh the the camera is older...it's a cannon.

Good morning everyone.....it is still morning, right?:sunny: How about a selection of pastries today? They looked really yummy!!

I hope everyone has a Super Sunny Sunday!!!:sunny:

Yumm...thanks Donna!

Oh no Michele, poor Briana! I hope it isn't anything serious, and can get fixed quickly and inexpensively. Having no car is among the worst things to happen to a teenager - or so it seems.

Hi, everyone!!!
I just came in from checking out the new Sirius radio DH got for me... it's pretty much installed and everything!!! I think I'm really going to like it, but I don't spend nearly as much time in my vehicle as he does...thank goodness!!

Nicole:: I really enjoyed The Devil Wears Prada!! I'm like you though, not only did I feel unfashionable, but old and fat!! Gee, they were making fun of Ann Hathaway being a blimpy size 6 !!!

Michele:: Glad you're feeling better today!! Wow, sorry to hear about Briana's car!! At least it happened with Blake and not when she was by herself or something; that could have been worse!!

:rotfl: :rotfl:
I'm laughing with you because I've been wondering the same thing!!! Is it too early to start packing? I normally wait until about 2 days before our trip to drag out the suitcases, but I'm getting antsy to start packing now!!!!:dance3:

YourMajesty:: How did the weekend go? Glad to hear you enjoyed some of my late breakfast!!!

lyzziesmom:: Emma's wine in a sippy cup comment it too funny!!! My dad used to buy my younger sister those little wine bottles of Mogan David. She had a heart condition when she was younger, as I look back on it maybe that was the reason she got to drink. :confused3 Surprisingly she doesn't drink at all now!!:upsidedow

Well, I need to figure out lunch. I'm leaning towards Italian!!!

I just got off the phone with Disney Dining... the lady I got was no help at all! I was trying to add April & Sherri (her sister) to the reservations. Well actually just Sherri, since I had included April just in case. Anyway, the lady on the phone kept saying things under her breath like, "Oh my God" and "Oh goodness" and "Oh no!" Because apparently adding one person is a huge inconvenience? Anyway, I tried to make our Park Fare breakfast a little earlier so they could join us but there was nothing earlier, and the lady was so confused I didn't bother asking about Chef Mickey's instead. Perhaps I will call back and hopefully get someone more competent. So here is our revised & updated itinerary:

Fri 2/02:
Arrival day
Dinner: LeCellier 8:50pm
Evening EMH at Epcot

Sat 2/03:
Morning EMH at MGM
MGM day (EMH morning - 7pm)
CS breakfast: at Starring Rolls
Lunch: 50s PTC 12:05pm (we have 3 tables that seat 4 each)
Dinner: 'Ohana @ Poly 7:15pm
Electrical Water Pageant @ Poly beach 9:00pm

Sun 2/04
Linda is leaving for the cruise early AM (we will miss you!)
Undecided park (no EMH morning at any park)
Brunch: Kona Grill @ Poly 11:10am (we have 2 tables)
Evening EMH at MK

Mon 2/05
Morning EMH at AK
AK day (Morning EMH - 5pm)
Dinner: WCC @ WL 5:10pm
P&P Party @ MK 7:30pm - 12:30am

Tues 2/06
Departure Day (for most of us)
Breakfast: 1900 Park Fare @ GF 8:20am (may change to Chef Mickey's if 8am time available to include April & Sherri)
Undecided park for those of us who have time before leaving

Does all of that make sense? Does anyone have any suggestions for anything else? Any ideas as to which parks to visit on the "undecided" days? I was thinking for Sunday, maybe MK in the morning (I love to hit Fantasyland early) and then Epcot after brunch, then back to MK for the evening EMH. But of course I am open to anyone else's ideas.

I had my dad lug my big suitcase up from the basement today! It is definitely not too early to start packing. I've put aside a couple things for Emma, knowing I'll want to bring them and I don't want them to get "lost" or left at my mom's house in the meantime. I'm getting so excited, it's all I can think about!! I'm driving my parents crazy, they don't understand why I'm so excited since I was "just there" in September. That's a whole four months ago!

Michele:guilty: good luck w/Briana's car. Just tell her to be thankful SHE wasn't driving it when it happened;) nothing worse than getting stranded!!
Glad you're feeling better! Too early to start packing??? :rolleyes1 That is what I started this morning:laughing: I had to dig out all the stuff we use just for Disney:teeth: Ahhh I wish I had a company car! That would save me $100 a week in gas!!!

Donna... a blimpy sz6:eek: I don't think so!! Or I'm in trouble too;)
I always have to start packing long before. Try the clothes on...have Kenny try his on...make sure everything fits ok ;)

Its so funny, our neighbor girl came today w/her GS order form:dance3: I was good...I only ordered 10 boxes. I should order more, they were only $3 a box!!

lyzziesmom...yep extra 25k but that is having to work ot and travel where you're not home a lot. Staying in hotels a lot.... I loved it for the few years I did it. We traveled all over the country. Some places were great, some...no way. Like being stuck in Maine during an ice storm and it was like -30!!! No thank you!! Then your boss asks you if you're going home for the weekend:lmao: yeah, its a two day drive ONE way!!! oh well... working in Cape May, NJ and having lunch by the ocean was nice ;) so there is good and bad. Now I sit in a stinking cubicle and stare at #'s and $ signs all day.
You have an itinerary going right? :) Can I bug you again for what our plan is for Fri. and Sat. Just trying to get organized ;) Gracias  nevermind...you just read my mind and posted it!

Michelle- Poor Briana! Good thing she wasn't driving it by herself!

Donna- I know! I wish I was a size 6!

Lyzziesmom- I hope you can get someone from dining that actually knows what their talking about!

Hi again Linda!

For my trip in Sept. I started packing about a month beforehand! I had a pile of toiletries and clothes waiting to be packed.

I am getting excited about the trip and I'm not even going!:rotfl:

Nicole: that's so sweet that you're getting excited for us! I really wish you could go. I wish ALL of us could go. Maybe next time, we can have a trip where we can all be there, wouldn't that be great?!?

Linda: How funny that you asked for the itinerary right as I was posting it! I keep all the stuff I use "just for Disney" in my suitcase, so I'm never really fully UNpacked. In fact just today I looked in there & found our extra lanyard for Emma! She asked me yesterday, "Can I do pin trading?" She has two pins, she keeps them on her harness but I think this time we might try the lanyard, because the pin backs dig into her a little bit when they are on her harness and I am holding her.

Donna: Your comment about Italian for lunch inspired to make some angel hair alfredo pasta. The kids had strawberry shortcake with blueberries for lunch. I'm so proud of them because they ate all the fruit first before even touching the cake and then asked for seconds on the fruit!

Only $3.00? What a deal! Ours were $3.50 a box. I wonder if they are less now during the booth sales than they were when we ordered back in November? ONLY 10 boxes... girl, you will never be a size 6 that way! ;) ;) Of course I am just teasing you! I am DEFINITELY not one to talk... I have never been a size 6 and I have the world's worst sweet tooth! Well you will see. But that's ok, because I don't believe in denying myself things that make me happy, even if they make me fat too. That's just the price of happiness sometimes!

Oooohhhh... Strawberry shortcake sounds good!

So when are we going to start planning the 2008 trip???:teeth:

that does sound good...I love strawberries!!!
you're right, I really hope we can all go at the same time!! that would be so much fun!! $3 is cheaper than I thought it would be! I was expecting $3.50 or $4. I just throw most of them in the freezer. They last longer that way ;) out of sight, out of mind. I was sz S and 5 everything before I got pregnant w/Kenny...but never got back to that at all!!! Its depressing. But I also have problems w/my thyroid...so...that doesn't help. My new Dr. is trying to get it regulated. Since I started these new pills I've dropped about 5 # in the last week:yay: !! Its amazing the least little thing can throw your whole body out of wack. Or maybe it was the Pringles:rolleyes1 NAHHHH:laughing: I keep my "just disney" stuff pretty much in one drawer. Ahhh this is getting so exciting!! Emma wants to trade pins...how cute!!!

Nicole, I'm w/ya...2008 trip:banana: wdw... cruise...either...both...:dance3: I can't wait!!! I'll have to ask Mike about excursions still. I think Kenny would love to feed the stingrays at Castaway Cay. They are trained to come up on this ramp where they're in just a few inches of water! Its amazing. I think I'll let him snorkel for the first time too. I tried our last trip, but the water was too cold so he wanted out. I can't blame him. It was cold! well, and I'm a wimp when it comes to being cold ;)
