April and Courtney:

And about 5 minutes after April left:

Ashley - I bawled like a baby when I watched 'Click'. Great movie!

Donna - You were sitting next to the kids' parents?? Bless you for not saying anything - that had to have been tough...

Michele - poor kids - 2 and 4? I guess that's part of a young beginner coach, huh? It's too bad the team is the 'guinea pig' - but I guess a coach has to learn somewhere. Well, hopefully, things will turn around for them.

Linda - a bottle of wine? exploded? what a waste!

Awww..... Courtney's so sweet. She looks like an angel there sleeping!

Per Donna's request last night: THE BAR IS OPEN!

However, if your virtual bartender should disappear suddenly and without explanation, it's because her laptop cursor is spazzing. Don't know how long I'll last. OH! and any order can be non-alcoholic, of course.

Oh, Dznyfan, that looks perfect!! Make mine a regular one.:teeth:

pozey:: That pic of Courtney sleeping is so precious.

pozey: thank you so much for the compliments on the pictures, and on Lyzzie's eyes! All 3 of us have almost the same blue eyes. Mine are slightly greyer, Lyzzie's are lighter like her dad's. Emma's are exactly like mine. It's funny, because blue is supposed to be recessive, but in my family it is not. I laughed out loud at the picture of Courtney sleeping! Little girls are just so precious when they are asleep. So sorry you didn't get overtime. But salary has its little perks too. I don't know if it's the same everywhere, but at my last job the salaried employees got paid for the day if they were present for any portion - so some would come for 1/2 hour then leave for the day. SO not fair to those of us who used up all our sick time on Dr. appointments and school functions. I'm so glad you liked my pictures - coming from you that really means a lot! Since you always have such beautiful pictures and all. I love how the picture of Courtney & the babysitter is focused on them and the background is blurry. How do you do that? I've been trying that with my new camera, with manually focusing, but I just can't quite get it.

Hi Ashley! Yes, that is the tv that my parents got me. I was afraid it was too big for my armoire, but as you can see it fits as if it was custom-made! My dad did get it at Target the day after Thanksgiving. I'm glad everyone likes my bathroom! That was the one room I had no idea how to 'fix' - all that pink! The tile & countertop are still pink but I think it goes very well with the brown. My mom thought it would be too dark but she likes it now. I just love it, it seems so peaceful. I'm not sure how you can find out where to find GS cookies, but I know on the box is printed girlscouts.org - I haven't checked it out but I thought maybe it would tell you where they are being sold locally, or maybe you can order from there? I'm so sorry you can't make it for the trip next month. You'll have to be sure to come next time! (Because of course there WILL be a next time!)

Linda: I agree with DznyFan - a broken bottle of wine is such a waste! This evening I was enjoying a wine cooler and Emma asked me what I had. I told her wine, and she said, "Can I try some wine?" I said no of course. A little while later, she said, "Can I have some wine... in my sippy?" Which to me is about the funniest sentence I have ever heard.

I have not seen Click but I wanted to. I think I am going to have to sign up for Netflix again. I used to have it, but I quit when I realized I had the same movie for 4 months and hadn't found the time to watch it. I don't even remember now what it was, but I know it wasn't even very good. But now that I have the 2nd tv, I could probably find more time. I don't even need a new DVD player - my portable can hook up to a tv and even has a tiny little remote!

Goodnight crew, I'm going to try to get some sleep now. I've been crabby all day and had one of those days where I just wanted to strangle the kids if they whined one more time. I felt bad later, because I yelled at them and they really weren't being that bad - just loud & rowdy like kids will be. I hope I'm in a better mood tomorrow.

Good evening cliqueless crew!

DznyFan...I'll take something tropical...hmmm maybe a pina colada...non-alcoholic!:thumbsup2 My throats so scratchy that would be perfect!

lyzziesmom...I have those days...crabby days! I do yell...seems like the only level they hear somedays. Love the pictures...very nice...great quality.

Pozey...what a sweet picture of courtney sleeping! Can you tell my why my outdoor pics are awful. The light always makes the background washed out?

Donna...where is the coach when Nathan's teammate is trying to steal the ball...that's not right..especially for 8 year olds....maybe if they were 5!

Well, our party is getting bigger for Feb. Glad miss April is joining us and her sister.:)

eta...Miss Ashley...if you can't find any girl scout cookies I will mail you some...what is your favorite?

Goodnight, lyzziesmom

Hi, YourMajesty! Sorry your throat is scratchy. I had DH change our furnace filters after DznyFan mentioned her sinus problems. Hopefully I won't wake up with a sinus headache every morning now.

Nathan's league is an instructonal league. They don't start keeping score until next year I think.

I'm going to be turning in soon. I can hardly keep my eyes open. :cloud9:

Yes, this winter has been a pick up all bugs...or as many as I can. I think I will start some vitamin c. Maybe I should try the Zicam...did you use that? Hope your air filters help out the headaches!:goodvibes

Get some sleep girlie!:cloud9: :cloud9:

Hey everyone!

Pozey, I'm sending you a great big virtual hug!
When I was in High School and my freshman year of college I babysat for a family with a daughter (oldest) and two younger boys. That family did and does mean the world too me. I used to do stuff like that for Ali. I got a Christmas card from them this year and they look so grown up! Ali has a drivers license! I am so glad I was able to be a part of her life!

Dznyfan, I love the stories about your dad! My dad is my hero and I love to hear about other peoples families. That picture rocks! What show is Erins school doing for their spring musical?

Lyzziesmom and Linda, Emma is cracking me up with the Kenny talk! They are going to have fun with each other even if Emma doesn't admit it!

They sell girlscout cookies EVERYWHERE here! Outside the grocery store, Loews, Home Depot, etc! I have never had a girl scout come to my house here, they just hit you up while you shop. But I can taste the Tagalongs and Thin Mints now!

Well, Chris is sick and I have to work all day tomorrow for inventory so I best get to bed!

Night lovies!

Now that looks tasty!!!

Linda - Just for you:

thumb_yellowtail01sml-181.jpg
 awww thank you! I had to show Mike. He was laughing. that was the 2nd bottle he lost so he's adding some power stuff to it to kill the yeast. It keeps him busy ;)

Wine in the sippy:rotfl: That is too cute. She wants to start young. I'm sure if you let her tongue just touch it she wouldn't like it. I remember my mom letting me drink screwdrivers when I was 3!!:sad2:
Lyzziesmom and Linda, Emma is cracking me up with the Kenny talk! They are going to have fun with each other even if Emma doesn't admit it!
Isn't it hilarious. I am still cracking up over it!! It was the "I eat Kennys fries":lmao: I can't wait til they actually meet now. Just to see her reaction.

pozey...   I'm salary too. I feel your pain. I work extra hours, but at least it's at home when I want to. I guess you did make someone mad ;) J/K!!! That does suck! Our Co. has some major differences between us and the hourly people. We get 5 personal days, they get 1!! We get profit sharing etc., they don't. We get 2k per person on dental they get 1k:sad2: but then again, they can charge OT and we cant. If I work less than 40...I get the amount of hours I WORK:rolleyes: I guess it all works out in the end. Courtney looks SO adorable in that picture!! I love when they put their hands up by their face like that:cloud9: She is so precious!!!

Hope you all have a great Sunday! Mike is over there messing w/the wine again. I think he's trying to get me intoxicated already. "try this, now this..." Have a good one everybody!!

Lyzziesmom- :rotfl: Wine in my sippy??? Oh, wouldn't that be embarrasing if she were to decide to ask you that sometime while you were together with your parents or something? Talk about wanting to crawl under a table.

Linda - screwdrivers at 3!:rotfl: Dad always gave me sips of beer when I was little.

Pozey - I have to ask: what did you think of Runts? We went about a month ago, and were really disappointed. Won't be going back. Erin and I had wings on Friday night from BWW - YUMMY!

Good morning everyone.....it is still morning, right?:sunny: How about a selection of pastries today? They looked really yummy!!

pastries.jpg

I hope everyone has a Super Sunny Sunday!!!:sunny:

I'm a bit full from breakfast, thanks Donna!

Well call me crazy! I had another sleepover last night. This time it was with Madison's friend. They were up ready to play at 7 this morning!:headache: It would not have been so bad, but I kept waking up with the Mickey playhouse song going through my head.:confused3

I haven't had much time to catch up, if I missed something about the trip or anything anyone thinks of importants since Christmas, please fill me in.

Madison is selling girl scout cookies. Too bad they won't be in before out trip.:upsidedow We had another little girl knock on our door trying to sell them yesterday. Madison got really upset that this girl was selling in her territory she got her coat on and went out to sell with Brittany. She made it to 5 houses before she got bored and cold so she gave up and came home. She did manage to sell 27 boxes though.:)

Well I'm in the middle of trying to fix an rickity old laptop that I have been working on for days. I am working in safe mode so everything is going a bit slow. I'll check in later.

Donna: those pastries look way too good!

Linda: I was thinking the same thing, that Emma will probably ask for wine in her sippy at completely the wrong moment. Like at a restaurant - she likes to order her own food. Yikes! We have a picture of my brother having a beer on his 1st birthday - he loved it!! I used to have sips of my parents' tropical drinks when they would get some, which wasn't too often. I was always so disappointed, because they looked so pretty and tasted so bitter & bad. But I always pretended to like them, I have no idea why. As an hourly employee, I have to say I'd hate to work for your company! That is very unfair. At my company, all the benefits are the same for hourly vs. salaried; the only difference is in how time off is handled. And salaried employees do get more sick days, but only after they have been there for more than five years. They never approve any OT so that doesn't even really come into effect. What they do is, the work day is only 7.5 hours so each week, we work 37.5 hours. They only pay OT for anything over 40 hours. So, if you work an extra 2.5 hours you still get paid straight time. It kind of stinks, and of course they don't tell you about the reduced hours until AFTER you are hired - it seemed kind of sneaky to me, like a bait 'n switch. And as the receptionist, I am required to arrive 10-15 minutes early and stay 10-15 minutes late every day, but I can't put that time on my timesheet because it's technically outside of office hours. Ugh, I hate working for large companies.

Lesa:: Sorry I was late with breakfast. When I woke up the first time,I heard it raining, so I went back to sleep!!
That is so cute about Madison having to sell GS cookies to protect her territory!!:)

Pozey - I have to ask: what did you think of Runts? We went about a month ago, and were really disappointed. Won't be going back. Erin and I had wings on Friday night from BWW - YUMMY!
We liked Runt's. But we've been to Runt's before - the location in Muskogee. But BBQ is VERY subjective. Sweet sauce, hot sauce, vinager based........ I will say they give you a LOT of food. DW had the ribs. She said they were decent. Better than Stone Mill BBQ, not as good as Rib Bones BBQ.

We haven't been to BWW yet. But I will try it soon. :thumbsup2

Pozey...what a sweet picture of courtney sleeping! Can you tell my why my outdoor pics are awful. The light always makes the background washed out?
Thank you. She did look like a little angel.

Couple questions about your pictures.......

What kind of camera do you have?

Can you show me examples of the background washed out? Do you mean the background is blurry? Or too white?

With all of the drinks, and goodies, I'll be a mess by noon!:rotfl:

Good Morning!

Thanks for breakfast Donna!

Nicole---okay, I feel like the dunce-----I'm trying to figure out who you are saying we missed. Then it hit me------TOOTHY!!!!! I just figured you were using him as your emotion. Well, slap my forehead------yet another LIGHTBULB MOMENT.:3dglasses

:rotfl:

Dznyfan- That is awesome about your dad!

Post Number 1400!!! :yay:  pirate:

That's too bad you had to work yesterday. :cool1: That is sweet that your babysitter and Courtney are so close. Cute pics. Courtney looks like an angel asleep.

Emma told Lyzzie "Kenny wants see Emma. I don't like Kenny! I no ride with Kenny. I eat Kenny's fries!" At least she has a plan.

Emma cracks me up! I love the whole "wine in a sippy cup" comment! I love the pics. Your bathroom looks great. And since we're on the topic of girl scout cookies, the "lemonade" cookies, are they like the other lemon ones that were discontinued last year? My dad loved those, I was a girl scout as a kid and we would have to order a case just for him and of course they would be gone in a week!

Well, dinner is over. I'm thinking of watching "The Devil Wears Prada". Have any of you seen it?

Oh, and we had Girl Scouts come to our door this afternoon!!!:woohoo: DH wanted to know why I only bought four boxes.

I have the "Devil wears Prada". I loved it. After watching it I felt SO unfashionable!:rotfl:
Yum! I love girl scout cookies. Now I want some! I'll have to look around at the grocery stores for the booths.

I think I need to post this now before I lose it!
