:yay: :cool1: This is me working out right along with you!;) :rotfl2:

Amber: I hope your feeling better. :grouphug:

A little birdie (dm-inlaw:wave2: )came and told me I needed to post an update on my toe! So, thank you for all that have asked. :) It is feeling better, the antibiotic has helped some, it is still unsightly, unattractive, and shall I add nasty looking! I am waiting to go to the doctor as it was too much a pain in the butt to do so. I cannot wear shoes still, but my crocks are a life saver as well as comfortable. Thanks Michele for talking me into buying them. I have my glue close by if, not when ;) I lose the nail. But all in all it is fine, and like I said before, as much as it hurts and as ugly as it may look, it was well worth it. Plus I learned a lesson, never were anything to Disney other than my comfy, comfy shoes!

It was a name-less character played by Cheri O'Teri. She worked in the exchanges department at some un-named store. She kept telling everyone to simmer down when they hadn't even done anything. That sketch is one of my favs!!

Also, I believe they said Austin was on Days of our lives at one time. Do you happen to know which part he had? A small one, I'm sure. But I have watched Days for years and don't remember him.

Austin was on I think around 2002 or so. I don't remember the name of his character, it was an odd name though.

Really? I can't believe you remember!! He looks familiar to me too, but I just can't place him. Well, now that I know you like Days, we'll have to compare notes sometimes! :)

I don't remember him having a huge part. But he was/is cute!;) ETA: I think he was one of Belle's friends.

I find it funny because I maybe catch it once every couple of months, but I never seem to fall behind!:confused3 :lmao: Once I didn't watch it for like a year and when I finally saw it again, it was almost like where I left off.:happytv:

I know! We moved to VA last summer (I'm from Las Vegas), and I discovered that my two soaps, Y&R and Days, conflict with each other here!! So I had to choose one....I chose Y&R. Now we got a newer version of Tivo and it has two tuners so I can record both again!! It was like I never stopped watching Days!! :teeth:

I started watching Day's with my grandmother waaaaaaaaay back when. She hasn't watched it since like the early 80's. She was shocked a while back that some of the same people were still on it.:rotfl2:

Not at all. Wait.......am I allowed to answer??? I'm a guy.

But since I was the 1st person to respond to the original poster's post, does that make me the leader??? Am I the cliqueless clique King? :confused3 :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl: :cool1:

Seriously......jump in and join. We have a great group of cliqueless cliquers.....
:rotfl: I guess it does pozey:cheer2:
You guys are very friendly! Thank you for making me feel so welcome.

If you didn't know, I am the OP of the Mad Hatters Tea Party thread. You guys are all welcome there any time!

I am branching out! I noticed I had not been on the CB's or any other DIS forums in weeks! I've just been sticking to my same old threads. So this weekend I decided I'm turning over a new leaf. I wanted to chat with other people outside my usual threads! So I've been reading/posting on the CB again, and I got to meet all of you! It's fun!
That's cool! We're a very friendly crew :) The op of this thread has abandoned us long ago.

I love Y&R!!! I've watched that as far back as I can remember, literally. My mom would let me skip school if something big was going on:rotfl: is that bad or what!

I love Y&R too. I have watched it for years. Back since I was 13, I believe. I'm 35 now, so that's a long time! Good, now I have someone to compare both soaps with! Good times!

Okay, I need to sign off and spend some time with my girls. I had planned on signing off an hour ago, but then I started talking to some DISers on MSN and they made me check out some other threads....you know how it goes.

Do you guys ever chat on MSN? We have group chats on MSN all the time, which is why The Mad Chatters thread hasn't seen as much action as of late. Let me know and I'll add ya to my contact list.

Thanks for chatting with me tonight! I'll be back! And yes, that's a threat!! ;)

Good evening my loyal subjects!! :lmao: :woohoo: :rotfl2:

YourMajesty -- I looked at Chase's baseball bat. His bat from last year was an Easton. It was 26 inches long and 17 ounces. He might be able to use it again this year. He might also be big enough to go to a slightly bigger bat.

Also....I plan on having him attend a couple of the baseball clinics they are having at All-Star Sports in March.

Hi gals ( and guys ) ! I survived my MRI relatively unscathed... it just about killed me to lie on my back for that long, but somehow I did it. I may have even dozed a little! The worst part was the itching - just knowing I couldn't move seemed to bring out every little itch that I could not scratch! They gave me a copy of the results to bring to my dr. so of course I pulled 'em out and looked at them as soon as I got home. I have no idea what I'm looking for though, but I can tell that my spine is definitely not straight, which may be part of the problem. There is the picture of my lower spine, and a straight line, and my spine looks like a 2am drunk trying to walk the line - it's not even close!!

You have all been very chatty this afternoon! I don't watch soaps, so I can't contribute much. Back when I used to go to school during the day and work nights, I would put on the soaps as background noise in the afternoon so I could sleep. Of course I started to get interested, and I think I watched All My Children for a couple years, but I quickly got bored with it.

Ashley: I got your PM with the pictures - they look great! I still say your face paint looked much better than mine. I can't believe they were the same design!

Bonnie: I have MSN but I never thought of using it to chat with other disers. My screen name is the same as my DIS name if you (or anyone else here)want to add me - it's Jane if you don't. (I apologize for the bad joke, let's chalk it up to stress, shall we?) How many girls do you have? How old are they? Mine are 8 (Lyzzie) and 2.5 (Emma). I'm a single mom and they sure do keep me busy, but I wouldn't trade 'em for the world! Most days, anyway. On some days, I'd trade 'em for a good piece of chocolate, but we won't talk about that.

Hi Linda, Lesa, Amber, Nicole, pozey, sewer, Donna, Michele, 2x, LuvDzne, YM, and anyone else I missed. I'm off to watch American Idol - thank goodness the "real" show is finally starting! - and get some shut-eye. 'Nighty-nite!!

Hi, everyone!!! Just now got a chance to sit down and chat. I read most of the posts when I got home from work, but didn't have the time to post.

Ashley:: I hope your rash is getting better by now. Have you changed detergents or soaps recently?
Speaking of coasters and Universal; I made my reservations for Royal Pacific last night. We stayed at Hard Rock Hotel last year and really liked it. Gary is spoiled with FOTL priviledges now.

Linda:: I'm glad you co-worker that passed out is back. I hope the Drs. are correct that there isn't anything wrong with him.

Amber:: Be careful on that ice young lady!!! We don't want you to seriously hurt yourself!!

Lesa:: Sorry your DH is sick and ruining your day!!! Hope he gets to work tomorrow!!
Thanks for the Paczkis!!! They look an awful lot like jelly donuts to me.:rolleyes1
I could send you some pics....I'm not sure which ones you have. I didn't get to take many either.

lyzziesmom:: I'm glad you made it through your MRI. I hope they get to the bottom of your problems.
I imagine it was pretty hard to leave Emma's hugs this morning.:cutie:

Toot Sweet/Bonnie:: Welcome to our thread!!! I work during the day ( and can't Dis) and am the supplier of breakfast during the week. On weekends I have some help from time to time.:goodvibes

Michele:: I didn't realize you were off of school all week!!! I wondered where you had been in the mornings!!

I just started Cinderella III. Got to keep up with what Cindi is up to!!

Yep... no school til Monday... so when you have been slaving to make us all a wonderful breakfast, I have been fast asleep:flower3: THANKS!!!

I have been reading the posts off and on all day. But by the time I get caught up it seems I have to run somewhere else again and don't have time to post.

I am losing my mind here today....so far today I can't find my

1. wedding rings
2. iPod
3. debit card
and oh good grief I know there is something else I can't find but now I can't even remember what it is!:scared:

I need to go to bed and try again tomorrow. I will start praying to St Anthony in the morning

Have a great night and I will check in again in the morning...

Thanks in advance for breakfast Donna

Oh and Bonnie...welcome!! I checked out your Mad Tea Party thread...I think you guys move way faster than we do and I have a hard time keeping up here:confused3 :rotfl2:

I will have to look tonight when I get home to see what size Chase's bat is.

Chase is kinda small for his age. He turned 8 on Christmas Eve. He’s 49 inches tall and weighs about 55 pounds. Compare that to Colton, who will turn 11 in April. Colton is 62 inches tall and weighs 98 pounds.

Most youth bats now come with a length/weight ratio number on it. Like -9. Which means if the bat is 29 inches long, it will weigh 20 ounces.

I found the following chart with GUIDELINES as to size of bat:

Bat Length Guidelines:
Age Bat Length
5-7 24" - 26"
8-9 24"-28"
10-11 28"-30"
11-12 30"-32"
13-14 31"-32"
15-16 32"-33"
17+ 34"

And it had a formula for bat weight:

Weight/4 + 4

Example: Kid's weight is 80 pounds. 60/4 + 4 = 19 ounce bat (maximum).

But the most important thing is that he is able to swing the bat comfortably.

Good evening my loyal subjects!! :lmao: :woohoo: :rotfl2:

Exactly what I was looking for. I like the age charts. The charts at Hibbet's only gave height as a guideline. This way I can look at the #'s and take into account their age. The example you gave was on of the bats I was looking at. A 29" 20oz so this would be a fairly light bat for the length. We I plugged the numbers in it looks like DS could do a 22oz (max) but I think it will be a tad to heavy. I can't believe the amount of "stuff" they have for sports and the pressure to buy it!

Thanks King Pozey.....:worship: :rolleyes1 I might even check into the clinics you talked about. I think a "pitching" clinic would be fun. He will be in kid pitch and he's a lefty....but my goodness his arm is wild.

Lesa...thanks for the update. I'm always one of the worriers over the medical stuff.:rolleyes1 I feel like we have a little angel out there watching over us. It's kind of comforting...like when we were in the world she retrived info for Michele...how cool is that.:cool1:

Hey Michele...I was surprised to see your green light on at 10pm...knew there had to be an explanation. Wish I could say something to jog your memory....but maybe St Anthony will help.

lyzziesmom...I'm glad you survived your MRI...hopefully the Dr can read them.:rolleyes1 Did it say anything about bludging or ruptures disc or compressed neveres....bones spurs...etc?

I have a meeting in the morning....darn. I'll catch back up tomorrow afternnon.

Hi everyone!!!

Lyzziesmom, I was just thinking about you and wondering how the MRI went. I'm glad it was ok. When I was about 13 I had to have a Bone Scan and it was horrible!! I'm really clausterphobic and it just wasn't pleasant. :sad2: I used to have very bad back problems too and they found out I had some problems with the disks in my back and I had Scoliosis. I wore a back brace for about a year and it helped me, and I have to say even though it was embarassing (I wore it under my clothes and people could see it when I leaned over, like when I was writing at my desk at school) it really helped! And it even relieved some pain when I wore it. Now I dont have nearly as many problems with my back. Hopefully they will find a solution for you. Who did you like on American Idol? I'm about to start it now, I recorded it.

You guys have been talking about those soap operas, but I never could get into them. I'm surprised because I normally like shows with alot of drama. ;)

Speaking of Ipods, mine isn't working. I have the Shuffle and it won't turn on, and when I plug it into my computer to charge, the computer doesn't register the charger or anything. :sad2:

Donna, now that you mention it, I have changed soaps and detergent! But I've used both those kinds before, just not recently. We loooove Royal Pacific! It is so beautiful, you will love it! It reminds me of the Poly.

Good morning, everyone!!! I't a little chillier out this morning than it was yesterday; looks to be about 30 out today. I found a new recipe for French Toast. It looks interesting....won't you all grab a plate and join me?

french-toast.jpg

I hope everyone has a Wild & Wacky Wednesday!!!! :teeth:

Good morning everyone!

We're back. Hope you all had a great weekend! I haven't had time to go back and catch up.

Welcome Toot Sweet!

Breakfast looks yummy as usual!

We're doing the wine tasting this Friday at our house and so I'm trying to put together a menu of foods that will go well and clean my house. It's going to be a busy week! Then we fly out next week to finalize the details on my DH new job. :cool1: I'm excited but things are going to be a little crazy!

Well, better go start breakfast. Have a great day all!

Hey, Michele!! Enjoy your week off, staying up late and sleeping in!! You deserve it. I hope you find all of your lost items. You'll probably wake up refreshed and your memory will be restored!!

Speaking of Michele.....Did anyone from the convention ever report about the fact that Michele is the Disney Trivia Queen? The night we ate at LeCellier the host and hostess were giving our group Disney trivia questions. Michele knew every one of them; and they were NOT easy questions!! From then on in the trip if somebody wanted to know something about Disney we just asked Michele!!princess:

YourMajesty:: How are things going with you Queenie? I haven't had a chance to chat with you lately. I see you have a meeting this morning? This isn't one of your regular work days is it? Hopefully we'll get a chance to chat soon!!:thumbsup2

Hi, Ashley!!! How's it going little chickie?? Our cliqueless night owl....you stay up too late for me, honey!!!

Well, better run!!! Chat with you all later. :sunny:

Thank you. So you live nearby in WV, huh? :)

Yeah, I live in the Eastern Panhandle of WV. It takes about an hour and half to get to DC and about 45 minutes to get to No. VA (of course, that all depends on the traffic ;) )

Hi gals ( and guys ) ! I survived my MRI relatively unscathed... it just about killed me to lie on my back for that long, but somehow I did it. I may have even dozed a little! I'm glad you got through that in one piece! Hopefully now, your doctor can find something to relieve the pain.

Hi everyone!!!

Mine isn't working either. I just bought one and I can't get songs to load onto it. I can get the songs into iTunes, but there is not "import" button to get the songs onto the ipod. I have no idea what to do. :confused3

Oh, and I got the pictures. Thanks!
