Sharon, I just sent you a pm with the Kenny stories you missed.:lmao:

Good morning everyone!!!

Donna, thanks for the breakfast!!

Linda, what is this butt thing you are referring to??? :confused3 :teeth:

Nicole, I hope you are feeling better today.

Amber, I don't really collect snowglobes, it would be a pain having to dust them all. :teeth: Plus, my cats are REALLY bad and I wouldn't be surprised if they knocked any over. I had a couple in my room though when I lived with my parents (less to clean then ;) ) and they were really fun. But whenever I go to Disney and see one I like I get concerned with how I'll get it home without breaking it. :scared1: Maybe when I move home to Florida and its only a 2 1/2 hour drive I can get some. :3dglasses

Hope everyone has a great Thursday!! Survivor tonight!!! But I don't know if I'll see it until tomorrow, Jeremiah's favorite basketball team the Houston Rockets have a game tonight we're watching! :woohoo:

2x: it sounds like you had a VERY busy day yesterday. On Tues. we went out to dinner with my parents and by the time we were done eating and got back into the car, the sliding doors on the van had frozen shut! My dad had to climb inside from the front door and push while I pulled outside, and we eventually got them open. What a pain - I just can not wait until Spring! That photo shoot you had sounds like a lovely time (can you see the sarcasm?) - I bet you're happy to have it over & done with. Do you at least get to rest up today? It sounds like you need it.

I was able to leave the house today!! It was so scary though. I live down a small road that connects to another road at the top of a hill. So, you can't see anything coming on either side and just have to listen before pulling out. Dangerous, yes. Well, since our road is nothing but ice it's hard to stop. Add to that, the plow trucks piled snow in front of our road. Mike couldn't stop at all this morning and just pulled out. Luckily, nothing was coming. I should have stayed home though, as no one is here (except for my boss).

Yikes, that sounds really scary - I'd be freaking out every time I had to leave the house! That was one of the hardest things for me to get used to when I moved from FL to KS - the hills. I don't know why they would put intersections where you simply CAN NOT see what is coming, it seems so dangerous.

Well, Colton gave Kayla his Valentine’s Day card yesterday. But he didn’t get a chance to give it to her until right as they were leaving school. He said he didn’t get a chance to ask her if she wanted to be his girlfriend. He said he was going to ask her today. She liked the card though.

Good luck Colton! It's probably better this way, without the pressure of V-day on top of all the 'normal' pressure of asking out his first potential girlfriend. I hope things go well for him, it sounds like he's got a pretty good shot.

Yolanda: I'm sure you've mentioned it, so forgive my swiss-cheese memory. Where is the job your DH is interviewing for? That's great that they want to fly him out - what a good sign!

Sharon, I just sent you a pm with the Kenny stories you missed.:lmao:

Got it Lesa, thanks for filling me in!!

Now that I'm all caught up... a funny Emma story. We were sitting on the couch last night and Emma was playing with some stickers that Lyzzie had given her. Emma was sticking them on my shirt, and then I stuck them on her face, she stuck them on my arm, and so on. A few minutes after she tired of that game, she stuck another one on my cheek. I reached up to pull it off, but I couldn't find it, so I asked her, "What did you just stick on me?" She very sweetly smiled and said, "For you Mommy, it was a BOOOO-gie!" Yick! :scared1:

I am here at work all by myself in my department today, which means I have no backup for breaks or lunch. Usually the mailroom staff (2 people) cover the front desk as needed. One is out sick today, and the other is at a dr. appointment this morning - or so he said. He is very unreliable and is leaving the job in a couple months so he really doesn't care. This really leaves me in a lurch because today of all days, I have to see my pain specialist at 11:20. It is now 9:50 and no sign of my coworker. The thing with my pain dr. is, he is in high demand and if I miss this appt, not only will I be charged for it but I can't get another one for a couple months, and he is the one who I need to see for all my meds. I hope my coworker shows up, because there is no backup plan in place and I'm going to HAVE to leave. My boss, who is in IL, just says, "Don't worry, he'll be there" but I'm not so sure. Ugh. :headache:

Ashley: I forgot to tell you that I LOVE that picture of Spaceship Earth! I never think to take photos of it when I'm there, I don't know why. All the other pictures were so nice too, we have a bunch of good photographers here in our little non-clique! :)

I hope that guy shows up!

Okay, that is absolutely hilarious!!!!! You'll have to file this little story away, ya know, for future blackmail. :teeth:

I hope your coworker shows up...How annoying!!!

Good morning to my computer friends!:rotfl2: It's only 1 degree right now, but the sun is shining! I think Grace and I will be fighting for the sun spot when it reaches the kitchen in a bit.;) :lmao:

Donna: Thanks for breakfast. The Kona coffee makes me hungry for some Tonga toast!!!

Nope you can't have it...they sent it to me!

I'll trade you the heating pad for the jacket

I have been wearing my crocs all day and keep changing out of them to run errands. They are sooo comfortable. The only problem is that my feet are always really cold!! So I have come up with a weird way to handle the cold feet...I have the hair dryer plugged in beside the computer desk. I turn it on and point it inside the crocs...heat them up and put them on...Man, does that feel good

I told you to buy the darn jacket!!! I told you you would regret it!!!:rolleyes1 :lmao: I do admit those butt ugly shoes are comfortable! I wish I would have bought them Friday when I first saw them, then I wouldn't be having this nasty foot problem. But noooooooo, I didn't want to carry my stupid tennis shoes around. I should have bought them and tossed the tennis shoes. I have never heard the gas meter story before.:lmao: I think if we were still living there, Brittany would have been home schooled. The friends she keeps in contact with always talk about who their dating!:scared1: Their 12!!!!!:sad2:

I had to work early this morning but I had to dig my car out of the snow first. Plus, my front screen door is frozen shut, so I had to go around back and fight my way through the snow drift in a skirt and tights. Lovely. I had a very busy, but successful day at work, then I had to go to the doctors' office for a photo shoot. I was teasing them about my sitting fee. It is for a medical conference and I was one of the lucky ones to be chosen to be a "model"----can you tell I'm being sarcastic?? It was pretty humiliating, to say the least, but I got through it. I just don't want anyone to recognize me, but the nurse (who is so sweet and really get along with) was really careful not to take photos where anyone would be able to. I told her I'd better not see them on the internet.

After this, I went over to my mom's for dinner. She had me, my sister and my niece and nephews over for Valentines Day since both my dad and my BIL are out of town. I think she is trying to get us all together as much as possible since they (my sis and her family) will be moving back to Florida fairly soon. Their house is on the market, so it's a pretty done deal this time.
So in review----

OMG---Lesa and Michele---the HEATING PAD????!!!!! made it's way back to you????!!!! This is tooooo funny!!!!! Not if you get the bill, though!! Imagine what they charge for something like that?? I hope you don't have to find out. Maybe the bill could be sent to..................... BRANDON!!!!

Lesa---your dinner sounds yummy!! 3 different types of lava cakes?? Great deals at Target. I may have to make a run this weekend to see what they have.
I bought a fancy schmancy cookbook as a souvenier for myself (cuz you can't go on vacation without one)-----anyway the 'Ohana Bread Pudding with Bananas Foster Sauce is in there that I shared with YM and Linda-----let me know if you want it----I'll PM it to you.
That's terrible of Brittany's friends/classmates!!! What ever happened giving valentines to everyone?? Hugs to her!!
I hope you got your screen door unfrozen! I can just picture you trudging through the snow in a skirt! I bet that was a bit cold on the old legs! I've been one of those lucky ones to go through a "photo shoot" for science. I was actually going into a text book. It is a bit humiliating! You have a good attitude though!:lmao: It sounds like you had a wonderful Valentine's day dinner with your family! Sorry to hear your sister is moving soon, but Florida, sounds like a vacation in the making!;) I like your idea of sending the heating pad bill to Brandon!:rotfl: The lava cakes were marked down at Costco (love that Costco!) There was double chocolate, marshmallow and raspberry. I had to taste a bit of each.:rolleyes1 Linda PM'd me the recipes, thank you. Which cookbook did you get?

Brittany wasn't looking forward to going to school today. :sad2: I feel so bad for her. Just one more strike towards her poor self esteem.:sad1: We're going to see a movie and possibly dinner this weekend. I could always call the other parents and tell them how mean their daughter is to mine!;) :rolleyes1 I would like to wring their nasty, mouthy, snotty, bratty, hormonal necks!!!! Last year Madison had a girl that she thought was her friend tell her that she ignored her at school because she hated her. She told her on Valentine's day and completely crushed her. :sad2:

Well...I'm not sure if this would be me:rolleyes1 ....but I'll just say I had a busy little day.

2xcited...your synopsis was so nice I didn't even have to go back to read all the happenings today. That dessert sounded like YUM!

I cooked tonight but ddin't even have time to make the my hubbies favorite pie. I'll do that on Friday...it will be a two part meal...dinner on Wed and dessert on Friday.

Lesa...I'm sorry about Brittany and the valentines. I had to come home from school and call my ds's teacher about an event that happened at school today. I knew part of the "event" because when I arrived at his valentine party he was upset. He calmed down but boke down in the car on the way home with more details. I was not very happy with the situation and called his teacher to fill her in.

I'm sorry your son had a bad day! I hope the teacher was able to deal with it properly. What is it with Valentine's day? 2 part dinners are always good. Make more room for desert!

Amber: 200 snow globes!! Where do you have them displayed and are they all Disney? I agree, pins are a good thing to collect. I put them in a frame and hang them on the wall.

Yolanda: Lobster dinner!! Yum!

What's with this too many images!(I'd put the bashing the computer, but it won't let me!!!!)

I just got an email that Nebraska Furniture Mart is having a Disney event this Saturday - I think I have a plan for the weekend! They are having a bunch of craft and activity stations and a prize wheel for giveaways including tickets to Disney on Ice. Sounds fun!

Ok I have another funny story for you guys that Emma's story reminded me of. This one is a story about baby me. When I was a little under 2, I was at my grandparents house. The story goes that I had a habit of feeding small bits of food to my grandma off of my plate. She got used to it and sometimes would just open up without really paying attention. This one time, she rolled the bit of food around trying to figure out what it tasted like, and couldn't place it so she asked me what it was. Beaming, I told her, "Was a booger!"

I guess it runs in the family.

(Just for the record: I don't do that anymore. And Grandma always looks at what children feed her now.)

Oh, tell me too. I'm so nosey ;)

Good morning everyone!!!

Donna, thanks for the breakfast!!

Me too!

:cheer2: Go Rockets!:cheer2:

The Kenny stories are worth repeating!:lmao:

On Friday since it was so late and Michele and I hadn't even got a chance to check in our hotel yet. Mike offered to drive us back. Well Michele and I got an ear full from Kenny. :lmao: While we were walking he turns to us and says "My mom plays with Mike's butt." Well Michele and I lost it!!:lmao: Later Linda cleared the up story that Mike wears a pain patch on his hip, so she helps him with it.;) :rotfl2: Apparently Kenny took that for playing with Mike's butt! :rotfl:

The Mexico story....

I didn't have a coat with me Friday night and I found one in Mexico. Well the next day while we were waiting in line for Prime Time Kenny kept telling me that the Mexicans come here and take all the jobs. I couldn't figure out why he told me like 3xs and I kept laughing and saying "they do?" Well I finally figured out he was saying it because my coat said Mexico on the sleeve.:lmao:

That kid is just too darn funny!!

That's why Mike drives most places; I hate trying to pull out. I want to get an SUV so I can sit high enough to see cars coming.

I have them displayed everywhere. They are mostly in the living room though. I want to build a room just for them. I really have to take pictures. I'll try to do that tonight.

Your booger story cracks me up!:rotfl:

ok you guys are cracking me up. My boss was sitting behind me about all morning and I couldn't post.:sad2: Like they expect me to do my job or something:confused3 ... but I wanted to post so badly!!

Ashley, you heard about Kenny telling Donna he thought he was going to pass gas on her didn't you...he was sitting on her lap and sat up off her lap for a second...b/c he thought he had to pass gas:lmao: :rotfl:

And for the record...I did not tell him that anyone comes and takes our jobs:rotfl: he's just 5 going on 25.

Monday at court...Mike and Kenny were with me. We're waiting for the elevator and my attorney comes in...in the elevator he had to tell her about when we were driving home and stopped to use the bathroom and get gas. Have any of you used those paper towel holders that you push a button to get the towel? It is either up inside it slightly or I just couldn't see it since it was below eye level..anyway...Kenny saw it, and he had to tell her "it took a FIVE year old to figure it out":lmao: :rotfl: there was another lady there too trying to get the other one to work..waving her hand in front of it...:rotfl: My lawyer was cracking up!

Oh...apparently my x called here yesterday trying to get his job back. That'll be interesting ;)

Linda - the stories (yours and everyone else's) about Kenny are cracking me up!!! What a funny kid!
Your X is going to try and get his job back - where you work?? Oh, that ought to be fun!

Lyzziesmom - ewww... booger on your face? gotta love 'em! So I'm assuming Emma and Kenny got along well on the trip? It seems like they would. Oh, and if I didn't mention (because there've been so many posts the past couple days I can't keep up...!) the photos of Miss Emma and Captain Jack are precious!

Linda, I did hear that one about Donna and Kenny in the car!!!! I was laughing pretty hard at 'Ohana when I heard that....OOOH, 'Ohana...I'm getting hungry!!! I need to get some lunch I think!! But it wont be nearly as good!!!
