I don't have to drive all the way into St. Louis. I go to the one in O'Fallon,Il. It is about 50 miles away. All we have in my area is Walmart.(Yes, I live in the wilderness! )
We actually have a Walgreen's, I may have to look there.
YM::I would love a pic of the Majesty family!! princess: :teeth:

lyzziesmom:: I don't blame you girls for still being in your PJ's!!! It's been a cold and dreary day here. I haven't been extremely motivated. :p

2x2s:: Your impromptu lunch sounds great!!! What did you order? I had Crispy Brick Chicken with a Wilted Spinach Salad!!! Yummy!!!

omg...I missed so much... YM.. our dinner was great, thanks for asking. I had to sit and think of what we had :rolleyes1 steaks on the grill  They were bacon wrapped filet's. Very tasty! Tonight Kenny helped me make his very favorite...the chicken broc. braid from Pampered chef. That child loves it!! too cute about your ds w/the pj's w/ the feet. I use to love those!!!!Kenny loves them too but now w/the corn burner...he'd roast! His room is usually no less than 75. he wears shorts all year now.

I think we need to get those passes for our trip! With so many w/back problems, it only makes sense! I know Mike was in misery for our trip in April. Actually he did just get his handicapped sign for the cars but like you all said...he hates using it b/c people don't always understand unless they see you in a wheelchair :sad2:

I got most of our gifts wrapped :woohoo: just waiting on the last few shipments to arrive and I'll be all done and ready to bake :cheer2:

It is snowing here..

Glad your dinner was a success Michele :cool1: that's too cute about your neice!!!

no problem w/disney christmas cards here... I have about 10 years supply in my basement :rotfl: cards, wrapping paper, gift bags...anything you need...

Kenny and I did a foam gingerbread house...I'll have to take a pix. He loved it :cloud9: I think he loves doing about anything that's just he and I ;) well...so do I :teeth:

I gotta go bid on some nascar diecast Mike wants....

Have a good one everybody!!! :wave2:

You can find O'Fallon on mapquest. Does your map have all 50 states?? :lmao:
http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.ad...target&address=&city=Shiloh&state=IL&zipcode=

Donna...the Queen doesn't like anyone to "pass"..... :rotfl:
2x can tell what that rolling head means..... :teeth:

Oh...thanks for the link...I guess that's a new city.

My map is a little on the small side but you would think a city big enough for Target might be on it. I think the closest thing I saw was Lebanon? It's just a older map I keep in my night stand....oops....didn't want ya'll to know I'm in bed...watching a movie. :teeth:

lyzziesmom...I have plenty of "gifts" to go around...I'm very generous with my "boxes"

Donna...glad you liked your order :woohoo:

Hey Linda :wave2: ....I could have reminded you about the steaks on the grill! :Pinkbounc You will have to turn the corn burner off one night so Kenny can wear his footies. ;) My DH likes the heat on about 62 at night but I got him to bump it up to 64  Then he turns it up to 68 on his way out (around 5:30am).

Hey...sounds ok about the GAC passes especially if it helps out. I'm hoping the lines will be short! Refresh my memory about PS. We have a Le Celleir Fiday night and a Ohana Sat?

Donna...how far are you from Linda's I bet she has some Disney cards in her basment. Linda...I bet we could get some good shopping done in your basement. ;)

How fun to cook with Kenny. I love to cook with my kids...if I'm not in a big hurry. My Youngest DS and I made some cookies last night...his favorite thing to make!

ETA: nice pictures!

Hey all!! Sounds like there's been some good eats this weekend.

Linda yummmmmy bacon wrapped filets that chicken brocoli braid from pampered chef is sooo good, actually any of their braided food I'm all in for! :cool1:

Donna "back in the day" I worked at Applebees for about 7 months and it was the skinniest I ever was due to standing/walking so much and that nasty smoking habit I had then. But I have always loved their food and they have the best honey mustard in my opinion! That salad sounds delicious!

All the talk about footed pjs is cracking me up :rotfl2: And how does your foot wander out of the zippered front? YM is raising some contortionists/magicians! ;) But I agree with you Lyzziesmom about sweaty feet!

Lyzziesmom good luck with the start of the new job tomorrow! We have days where is PJ's all day here too sometimes. Actually when Connor is out of school for breaks he dubs some days Pajama day and that's what he wears!

We do small groups through church on Sunday nights so when Darin and I got home our babysitter (who was making ornaments with the kids!) told me about Stunt Ben and showed me the big knot on his forehead. He was hanging on a drawer in the kitchen and bopped his head on the tip of the edge, the boy has got to have a head of steel he has hit his head so many times. Maybe that explains the stubborness with going #2 in the potty!! Aaarghh ( pirate: ) Anyway I've got things packed in the suitcase! :woohoo: I was going to try and do 1 suitcase but I'm going with 1 medium size (for me and Darin) and the small one for Connor and Ben that way we have room to bring stuff home! Hope everyone is having a good evening it's supposed to flurry here tonight, which means all county offices and schools could be closed tomorrow. It's TN we don't know what to do with snow!

:wave2: to all your crazy  cliqueless folks!

Love the Disney Room Linda and the gingerbread house and of course cute Kenny's picture! :teeth:

Mike would love it that cool...but Kenny and I would freeze so thankfully....he lets us win out :woohoo: The lines should be short when we're there...but always good to have a back up ;). Yep, so far we've got Le Cellier Fri. night and Ohana Sat :dance3: I'm so excited!!!
You're right..the guys I work w/joke my basement would be like going shopping at Macy's or something :rotfl2: I do have boxes and boxes if you guys really want some...I'll ship you some. I think I have enough to last til Kenny graduates... at least HS... :rotfl: Yes, you've got to have some time to let them help ::yes:: Like the gingerbread house and each individual dot  that got kinda crazy...but it is fun... he loves the one on one time...and of coarse so do I :cloud9: how fun...we were going to make cookies too...but just ran out of time..I told him maybe later this week. As of now he doesn't have to go back to his dads until the earliest Nov 30th :woohoo:

well...I better get going... I'm sure Mike is out of the shower and wondering if I'm going to remember him :rolleyes1

ahhh.. the last of the photos just uploaded :cheer2:

take care and have a great evening :wave2:

Hey there Angela :wave2: yes...all their braids are fantastic!!

good luck w/the snow...and kisses for the stunt devil :grouphug:

gotta go... :rolleyes1

Oh my Linda, that is quite a collection you've got there! My friends think I'm a Disney nut, but in my house you've got to look a bit harder to find it all. I've got nothin' on you, girl!!

Snow, my goodness!! We haven't had any here yet, in fact next week is supposed to be in the 60s/70s. Last year we had snow a few days before Thanksgiving, and then not again until Jan. We get more ice here than snow, it's just lovely, especially when we get ice and then snow on top of it. That's my favorite! (Could you read the sarcasm in that?)

Got all my first-day paperwork done, with the exception of benefits enrollment & some things I have questions on. Whew! I plan to turn in early tonight and hope to get a good night's rest. No hooting for me tonight!!

ETA: forgot to mention, Emma helped me make Reese's peanut butter bars today. They are delicious!

Hey cliquers----

Everyone have a lovely day??

My impromptu lunch was good. I met a friend and her daughter (I've known them for about 20 years) at the St. Louis Art Museum because Kristin (the daughter) had to attend a "tour" for one of her college classes. I didn't go to that because by the time I got ready, it was over. So, we met and then went to the BoatHouse for a late lunch. It is also in Forest Park----a park in St. Louis that houses several attractions including the St. Louis Zoo. It is a beautiful area. The restaurant is packed during the summer months but in the winter it is a little more laid back. They have a patio but in the winter they have it enclosed with heaters. We sat out there and it was lovely with classical music playing. I could have sat there all afternoon, but I obviously didn't. I then went to church, to the market and now I'm home. The end. That was my day in a nutshell. Exciting, huh??

Ash----I'm sorry your Saturday was not too thrilling. How did the rest of the weekend go?? Or is it still going?? Good luck to you.

YM--Devonshire cream was originated in Devon, England. I'm pretty sure the main difference is in the processing. Devonshire is more like "clotted" cream----sounds disgusting, huh?? :teeth: The processing of heating the cream and skimming the top where it is the consistency of softened butter. Heavy cream is just that----thick but still liquid, where it can be whipped into whipped cream.

Lyzziesmom----come out, come out, wherever you are....................GOOD LUCK tomorrow!!!!!!!! We know you'll do wonderfully!!!!!

Donna----the teens with cell phones crack me up!!! They change cell phones like they change their shoes. Unreal.
Your lunch sounds yummy. I had a Salmon BLT. I know it may sound gross, but it was really good. It was served panini style with bleu cheese slaw. And a pickle----can't forget that. And a lettuce leaf under the slaw. Can't leave that out either. :teeth:
Hey, you can see my house from that map!! :rotfl2:
Okay, I give----what's in the box?? I forgot. Isn't it supposed to be SW's heart??

Lyzziesmom said:

did I catch the spelling nazi in a spelling error?? Shouldn't it be "oh dear"?? Or am I wrong?? Clear this up for me, will ya??

Linda---awww, Kenny's a little chef?? My niece is showing some interest in the kitchen, but my nephew could care less right now. If it doesn't have race cars all over it, he ignores it.

Angela----ooh, I hope Ben's okay. Their little heads take such a beating sometimes, but they keep going.
St. Louisans are terrible in the snow, too. It even threatens to snow and everyone is driving nutty rushing to the market for milk and bread.
Are you on your final countdown?? :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

I don't think I'll last much longer----I'm wiped out for some reason. I'm off work tomorrow, but it is doctor day in the afternoon, so I'll be able to sleep in a bit. I've got lots of errands, though.

2x - I'll answer two questions in one. It is supposed to be SW's heart in the box, but the hunter feels sorry for her, lets her go, and brings the Queen a deer heart.

dolewhip3br.jpg

Even though it's a little chilly outside let's have a yummy dole whip snackie! I'm getting one this weekend but I'm going to have it mixed with the soft serve this time!:)

Angela:: Your trip is getting so close!!!! YAY!!!
I love Applebees! I used to smoke, also. I weighed considerably less than I do now. :rolleyes1
Hope Ben's head is okay.

Linda:: What are the shopping hours in your basement? I need to plan a shopping trip! :teeth: I love the Gingerbread House!! Terrific job!

That's what clued me in that there weren't apples in the box. I knew lyzziesmom wouldn't mispell dear/deer! ;)

2x2s:: Your lunch sounded devine! :snooty: (I haven't gotten to use that snooty smilie for a while.)

Thanks for the Dole Whip, Angela!!!

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

oops

guess it's time to watch SW again.

darn, I thought I busted ya. :teeth:

:dance3: :dance3:

That reminds me a friend of ours is a hunter (like my dh) and he went hunting yesterday for deer and got one. Well they suggested we come over soon and we'll have some deer meat and we'd bring the kids to play. I suggested maybe the kids could watch Bambi 2 while we eat is that in bad taste? :rotfl2: :lmao: I'm tired and my contacts are sticking to my dry eyes! Night all!

Angela----

oh yum!!!!!!! Thanks.

I had a dole whip float on the night we attended MNSSHP----maybe it was the record heat, but it was scrumptious!!!!!
