Hey cliquers----
Everyone have a lovely day??
My impromptu lunch was good. I met a friend and her daughter (I've known them for about 20 years) at the St. Louis Art Museum because Kristin (the daughter) had to attend a "tour" for one of her college classes. I didn't go to that because by the time I got ready, it was over. So, we met and then went to the BoatHouse for a late lunch. It is also in Forest Park----a park in St. Louis that houses several attractions including the St. Louis Zoo. It is a beautiful area. The restaurant is packed during the summer months but in the winter it is a little more laid back. They have a patio but in the winter they have it enclosed with heaters. We sat out there and it was lovely with classical music playing. I could have sat there all afternoon, but I obviously didn't.

I then went to church, to the market and now I'm home. The end. That was my day in a nutshell. Exciting, huh??
Ash----I'm sorry your Saturday was not too thrilling. How did the rest of the weekend go?? Or is it still going?? Good luck to you.
YM--Devonshire cream was originated in Devon, England. I'm pretty sure the main difference is in the processing. Devonshire is more like "clotted" cream----sounds disgusting, huh??

The processing of heating the cream and skimming the top where it is the consistency of softened butter. Heavy cream is just that----thick but still liquid, where it can be whipped into whipped cream.
Lyzziesmom----come out, come out, wherever you are....................GOOD LUCK tomorrow!!!!!!!! We know you'll do wonderfully!!!!!
Donna----the teens with cell phones crack me up!!! They change cell phones like they change their shoes. Unreal.
Your lunch sounds yummy. I had a Salmon BLT. I know it may sound gross, but it was really good. It was served panini style with bleu cheese slaw. And a pickle----can't forget that. And a lettuce leaf under the slaw. Can't leave that out either.
Hey, you can see my house from that map!!
Okay, I give----what's in the box?? I forgot. Isn't it supposed to be SW's heart??

did I catch the spelling nazi in a spelling error?? Shouldn't it be "oh dear"?? Or am I wrong?? Clear this up for me, will ya??
Linda---awww, Kenny's a little chef?? My niece is showing some interest in the kitchen, but my nephew could care less right now. If it doesn't have race cars all over it, he ignores it.
Angela----ooh, I hope Ben's okay. Their little heads take such a beating sometimes, but they keep going.
St. Louisans are terrible in the snow, too. It even threatens to snow and everyone is driving nutty rushing to the market for milk and bread.
Are you on your final countdown??
I don't think I'll last much longer----I'm wiped out for some reason. I'm off work tomorrow, but it is doctor day in the afternoon, so I'll be able to sleep in a bit. I've got lots of errands, though.
