Good morning my cliqueless chicas and The Man!! I apparently have done a lousy job of teaching my children the value of sleeping in on a weekend morning. At 6:30am I heard floating down the hall, "Mommy! Wake up! Change diaper!"

I just checked my email and I got a notice that my disneyshopping.com order has shipped! Yay! Weird thing though... only one item shipped. The other has not. Does this usually happen? I've only used them once before and everything came together.

Ashley, I can't remember if you told us already... is it just the costumed characters that you don't like, or is the face characters too?

Thanks for the delicious goodies, Donna! If it wasn't for you, I'd just have a glass of chocolate milk for breakfast. Oh wait... I did. Must be grocery shopping day.

Yes, Emma needs to learn the concept of time on the weekends. That, or it is time to learn that the potty is not just for her Dixie cups.

I've got the phone by me and 3 different Disney websites in Internet Explorer right now. Decisions, decisions. Do I call or do I wait. I read on the resorts page that the first of Feb. is starting to fill up. Super Bowl is on Feb. 4th.

Donna...you're right it is super bowl Sunday. I did call for a quote and nothing that she checked was full. It's just that there don't seem to be and codes out but she said they could apply them to a reservation. I'm sure all of us girls are going to want to spend the day at the ESPN club on Sunday watching the super bowl.

Good Morning! It is a beautiful Fall day here in East TN, only highs in the mid 60's today I love it! Of course it will be back up to 78 on Monday. Everything is going good here with the kids, my nieces are having a great time I layed in bed with them this morning talking about our ADR's for our extended family trip in March. Now they are really looking forward to Whispering Canyon and Breakfast at Crystal Palace my older niece said "That sounds like a really special thing to do". So we are either going to Michaels to do a family craft decorate a carvable pumpkin or the corn maze...choices, choices.

Michelle looks like it is birthday weekend for your family, yummy lots of cake!

As usual you've outdone yourself with breakfast this morning Donna, how do you find the time?

Ok I though you would all appreciate this, my dh got these at Kroger yesterday and even asked me if I was going to post a picture on here, were having these for dinner tonight

Also we got a lot of rain last week and we have issues in our neighborhood with a river running through a lot of yards, some folks actually got water in their house at the other end of the neighborhood. So here are all my boys playing in our river, I call this one "A River Runs Through It" (original huh?)

Hi everyone <---- We need some of this here, it is so dark and dreary outside! And cold!!!

2xcited, Nope, Jeremiah hasn't told me the surprise yet..Supposedly he has the whole day planned out. He actually gave me one of my birthday present's early (gift card to Old Navy, they are the only place I can find jeans because my legs are short and nothing fits me right!) because when he came home last night, I told him I wanted to go to the mall that night to get some warmer clothes. So I ruined that surprise.

I'm not scared of the face characters, I just never know what to say to them. So I ignore them too.

Donna, thanks for the breakfast, even though there were characters around.

Mommyintn: I've heard of those burgers somewhere else here on the Dis! Tell us if they are good. We don't have Kroger here.

I had to re-read that!!! I thought you meant the OLDER he gets!!!

Did I ever tell you about the year(2000) when all my family went to Ca. to visit cousins?? My Dsis and cousin were taking pics by the castle and a little area that has Dwarf statues all around. They spotted Snow White and took their daughters over to have their pictures taken with her. Nobody else was around, so they just asked if was OK to have their pictures taken, and she started talking to them in that little "Snow White" voice like in the movie. They just stood there with their mouths open!! When they got back to where we were standing they were laughing and just in awe of the fact that she talked that way. Now, my cousin has lived about 15 miles away from DL most of her life and has had Annual Passes forever and she had NEVER heard Snow White talk. I don't know what that has to do with anything (maybe because we were talking about face characters), but thought I would share!!

Well, I must go finish my hair and make-up. Gotta let DH take me out for the day. I haven't been to a mall since....gasp..July!!!

Yikes, 40 minutes until my date starts, and I still don't know where we are going! He called today to set the time & get my address, and I told him to just pick a place. I live right behind a bar & across the street from another, but they are both kinda dives. Which is really fun, but not quite the tone I'd like to set. So... gosh is it hard to know what to wear when I don't know the destination! I'm just waiting for my nails to dry now. I blowdried my hair out straight today and it looks FABULOUS! It's amazing what a good hair day can to do my attitude.

It took me 3 stores, but I found something nice to buy. 3 somethings, actually. I settled on a turquoise cowl-neck shirt (new) with a brown & turq. paisley skirt (that I already had!) and a white sweater, with white platform sandals. I'd post a pic but my cameras batteries are R.I.P.

Can you tell I'm getting nervous? I'm rambling on more than usual! I haven't felt nervous all day, just kind of anticipating a nice night out, but now I'm getting a little jittery. Well I think my nails are dry... I'd better go put my face on. Better slather on the mascara, a la Ms. Plum!!

Hi to everyone and sorry to just be so typative about me me me but I'm excited! This is my first date since 3 years, one pants-on-fire hubby, one child and 30 pounds ago!!

Hi chicas! (& pozey of course) I'm baaaaaaack!! Note the time? Needless to say, the date was a smashing success!!! There will be more of them.

We had drinks and dinner at a local bar & grille, had dessert at a lovely little French bistro (may I just say, 6-flavor sampler of creme brulee? Yum!) where he introduced me to the chef, then on to a movie (The Illusionist - slow but a good love story - which he chose - with a twist ending). Back to my house (my first visitor in my new house! Too bad it's still a mess) for some conversation and a little smoochy goodnight. Oh, and he admitted that the stopping by my desk thing was his "plan" to get me to ask him out - he was too afraid I'd say no to ask. Guess I've still "got it"!! (thumb)

Donna, I agree with you and Lesa. I saw a ton of ugly clothes today! As if the 80's weren't ugly enough then, they have to come back?? Yikes. And tiny? I saw a gorgeous dress at Penneys... the largest size they had was a 6. All the rest were 4's. I'd need 4 of them.
