Ashley, Ruby is too cute in her jammies!! Lyzzie and Emma got a huge kick out of that... in fact, Emma has jammies that look very similar.

Sounds like you got some nice birthday gifts! I got $10 from my friend Liz along with a hilarious card, and my parents got me a new cell phone and a nice toaster. And of course I had a nice birthday date.

We are off to the grocery store, as soon as I can pry these kids away from the tv.

Hi chicas! (& pozey of course) I'm baaaaaaack!! Note the time? Needless to say, the date was a smashing success!!! There will be more of them. We had drinks and dinner at a local bar & grille, had dessert at a lovely little French bistro (may I just say, 6-flavor sampler of creme brulee? Yum!) where he introduced me to the chef, then on to a movie (The Illusionist - slow but a good love story - which he chose - with a twist ending). Back to my house (my first visitor in my new house! Too bad it's still a mess) for some conversation and a little smoochy goodnight. Oh, and he admitted that the stopping by my desk thing was his "plan" to get me to ask him out - he was too afraid I'd say no to ask. Guess I've still "got it"!! (thumb)

Wow it is birthday central here today! Happy Birthday dear Ashley, Lyzziesmom and Rubyyyyyyyy, happy birthday to you and many more!!!!

So glad your date went great! Your date sound like my dh, he took me to this really nice B&B to propose and then sets this whole thing up where he sits the ring on the corner of the bathtub for me to see so he can trick me into asking him. What up with that? It of course didn't work. He thought it was so funny.

Has anyone done Mystery shopping before, this is something else I'm doing for some extra money (also signed up with that search engine chacha) but I did my first one last week a gas station and I was so scared! I swore they were going to think I was a shoplifter walking around in the store, I felt so obvious but really no one payed attention to me. I just got accepted to do another one on Tuesday in the mall, I guess it's good for me though I am not great at talking to people I don't know. I'm not shy, I would say more reserved until I warm up and then I'm a nut so I guess this will help me stretch myself and being at home with the kids all day it gets easy to just stay where you're comfortable. Anyway didn't mean to ramble.

Say a prayer for me on Wednesday about 1pm est I'm going to get that EMG at the neurologists and a friend from church told me he had that done at the same Dr. and it dosen't sound fun! The visit with my nieces went well we hadn't seen them in 4 months and they live less than 2 hours away, I've promised them we'll do another weekend in November so they were really excited about that.

Michelle to you with all thats going on with Matt. I don't have any experience with ADHD except at one point we had Connor tested for it. Things like this are good because now you know what the issue is and you can deal with it.

All the cake bakers did a wonderful job, I'm very impressed! Hope everyone has a great night.

Angela, I'll keep you in my thoughts on Wed. I have not done mystery shopping but I always thought it seemed really cool. I think I'd be really good at it, but I have not found anyplace that doesn't seem like a scam. How exactly does it work... do they tell you what to buy or do you just do regular shopping and then report on how it went?

My mom made me a key lime pie today, but oopsie, she was across the house and didn't hear the timer go off so it got a little overcooked. Ok, a lot overcooked. It was not very good, which was pretty disappointing because I'd been looking forward to it all day. Now it's sitting in my tummy like a rock, ugh.

Here is the place I signed up with http://www.mystery-shoppers.com/shoppers.asp They have shops all over the country but I'm pretty sure they are based her in Knoxville (the company). I've got a good friend who did shops through them and is now doing the scheduling from home for shops. There is no fee to sign up, you can get certified as a mystery shopper through another site but it's not necessary and I didn't do it and this is my 2nd shop in about a week. They give you guidelines on what to look for and you can print off the questionaire that you submit when you're done so you know specifically what to look for, I kept that in the car so I could write once I got done. It's not bad for some extra money, I got $10 for the gas shop along with a cappucinno and a bag of chips (that you get reimbursed for to) the one of Tuesday is $11.00 at a kiosk in the mall (computer company).
