MI Mom of 3::Sounds like your surprised those little :cheer2: !!!! My 13 year-old niece is a cheerleader. It seems this year there has been a lot of bad feelings among the girls. These girls have gone to school together since kindergarten and all of a sudden nobody can get along. It seems pretty sad to me. Is it just an age thing? Maybe they haven't learned to control the PMS thing or something! :confused3 I don't remember acting that way when I was in 8th grade. :rolleyes1

Hey everyone!!

Just wanted to stop in quick and catch up!!!

Lyzziesmom, I know I said it already but CONGRATS on Emma's name change! That is so wonderful. And it sounds like the interview went good too!! I think the guy is interested- how sweet that he bought you lunch! (Especially since you didn't take yours today!!! Or did you just take it late??)

2xcited, I hope you get the reservations straightened out..That is so strange. :confused3 Your plans for WDW look like so much!! I wish I could go back again (already!!!)

I went to K-Mart tonight (first time I've ever been in one!!!) because it was close to where we ate dinner and looked for #1 in the Plum series, they had #3,6,9 and no #1!!!! :furious: Why?!!!

Donna, I didn't say it yet -thanks for the yummy breakfast, you're the best!! :lovestruc

Hi to everyone, and Good Night! Hope you all have a great nights sleep!!! :grouphug:

Young teen girls are brats!!!

This is what I keep telling my girls! I say enjoy being little while you can, because pretty soon you'll be a teenager, and teenagers are little snots! Lyzzie says "I'll never be a little snot" and I just laugh and tell her honey, you're already practicing.

2x - your itinerary sounds lovely dahhlink!! I am more of a gotta-do-&-see-everything kind of girl, but I must admit my best day last time was my "off" day. Of course, my off day consisted of a character breakfast, 4 hours at Blizzard Beach and Hoop-de-Doo, but I digress. According my parents, my schedule was "grueling." Don't make any last minute changes... there's always next time!

Ashley, I've never had a dog of my own but my mom had this horrid little yapper (the only dog I've met that I really could not stand) that ate EVERYTHING. It's a good thing you got your pictures off the memory card, but still, those things are not cheap! Bad Ruby!!

I was going to sneak off and go to bed, but I can't without saying night night to the HOOTS.

G'night HOOTS

I will try to check in as much as possible in the next couple of days-----because of the trip next week I had to schedule my treatments all this week, so tomorrow and Friday are going to be killer. Plus my house looks like a tornado went through and and I am not even close to thinking about packing. It will get done, it will get done.

Speaking of which, we haven't heard a peep out of those 'lil madies lately, have we?? Geesh, that seems so long ago!!! :hyper2: :hyper2: :teeth:

Oh----Lesa----have a great and safe trip to MI----say hi to Michele in person for us. And NO frosty's allowed on the way!!!!

Thanks again! The lunch wasn't much, just some chick-fil-a, but it was just what I needed. He's not exactly what I'd be looking for, if I was looking, but I don't think anyone is. It's nice just to feel the butterflies flitting around and want to put on some extra lipstick, even if that's all it ever comes to.

Really, you've never been to K-Mart before? There's one by my house that's nice but it's at the top of a hill sort of all by itself, and it's really slippery in the winter and all year it is so windy up there that I don't really like to go. When Lyzzie was little the car door blew open and knocked into her face and cut her cheek pretty good. The other K-Mart in town is by my work and it is commonly known as The Gross K-Mart. The place is filthy and seems like a good place for criminals to hang out. *shudder* I will venture in there sometimes in December because they have really good sales and I like their Christmas decorations but that's about it. Too bad they didn't have the book!

I think I'm going to bed now, I just realized I have been very typative today! (I just made that word up, do you guys like it? It's like talkative, see?) Sorry if I have bored you all to tears, but I'm still  ing about having a good day today.

Good night everybody. :cloud9:

Hoot...

Good Morning!!

Donna, yes I think it is the age. Alone most are fine, but you put them in a group and look out!!

Lyzziesmom...typative!! I love it, it perfectly describes it.

2x2..your itinerary looks great! I'm so jealous, I want to go.

Today should be interesting at work, the other lady who is a hall monitor and works the lunch with me will be out today and tomorrow. So I have to do her job as well as mine. Plus today we are practicing an intruder lock-down. Wish us luck!!

Have great day everyone!!

Donna, I'll check in later for breakfast

Good morning Cliqueless Clickers!! :sunny:

This is MY version of the Fairie Maidies!!! :laundy:

Goodmorning everyone!

2x your itenerary looks like one i'd like I hope you get your hotel stay sorted out. Its a good thing your mom noticed.

Michele - Sounds like you whipped those girls into shape. When I was their age and in cheerleading my coach was an ex-marine. WE WORKED HARD! anytime you said the words cant or wont you had to run a mile around the football field. I was really appreciative of her ecspecially now it wsa such a great lesson in discipline and never selling yourself short.

Lyzziesmom - I have to agree with you about the boy. It sounds like he may be gearing up to ask you out. :goodvibes

Donna - thanks for breakfast this morning :sunny:

Well I read the entire Plum #3 in one night!!! The way the book ended was great I stayed up just thinking about it since as I mentioned beofre it was just what I wanted to happen (I dont want to get to specific bc I know Ash is still working on finding #1 good luck Ash)

ok I have to run to work and then i have class tonight so I will see you crazy kids later.

Hi Dznyfan, Pozey (has Colton heard back from Kayla), YM, Linda, Lin, Tiff, April, Lesa, Kim  :dance3: (if I forgot you an extra big hello)

Good Morning,

Donna, as usual the breakfast looks devine.

lyzziesmom, I'm so glad your interview went well.

2x2s, I can't believe you only have 9 days left! Are you just bouncing off the walls?

I try to have my house cleaned completely before I leave for vacation, but I can't even seem to do it. Once, my brother (who was stopping by to check on things) cleaned EVERYTHING for me. I had no idea he was going to do it, but we walked in and everything was perfect. Maybe I need to have him "check on things" again. :scratchin

Did anyone else watch Lost last night? It was SO GOOD!! I just love that show. Tonight is Survivor!

Good Morning, Michele!! :wave2:
Thanks for Breakfast Donna. Excellent as usual.

Morning everyone! :wave2:

Thanks for the lovely breakfast, Donna!

Lyzziesmom - big CONGRATULATIONS! on both Emma's name change, and what sounded like a promising interview! (and maybe a date, too?) You've been a busy girl!

2x2s - reading through your itinerary, oh what a great trip you have planned - and this is such a nice time of year there. Wilderness Lodge - I had the COOLEST idea for the lake place - I'm going to get some enlargements made of some nice shots I have of WL, matte and frame them, and hang them at the lake. I looked at your countdown - time sure flies sometimes - I didn't realize you were that close! :Pinkbounc

Michele - I agree, it's really unbelieveable how nasty young teenage girls are now. I get amused at a friend of mine who has a new 6th grader this year - she's SO disillusioned about how girls that age are - she's in for a wild ride if she doesn't clue in to what's coming. I just smile and shake my head. Been there, done that, not going back.

Jill - it's nice to see somebody blowing through the Plum books as fast as I do. They're a quick, entertaining read, and I can't stand to put them down. I'm on 8 now, and started them earlier this summer after joining in this thread. Thanks to these girls here, I'm addicted.

April - Did you get your book and your print yet? The book was nice, but it didn't have the floorplans. I think we're considering doing interval international for after Erin graduates and taking her to England. It's only 270 points for a 2 bdrm in high season! Of course, we'd have to take the train to Paris and go to Disneyland Paris while we're there.... we'll have to see how this plays out.

Hi to everybody else - :wave2:

Gotta go - I've got a Disney ressie to make!!!

Good Morning!

Thanks for breakfast Donna!

Lyzziesmom- I'm glad you had a good interview! I definitely think that guy likes you!

2X- 9 days!!!! I like your itinerary.

When I was at the airport last Thursday, I was looking for the Plum books and only saw 9 &10. :( I'll have to see if I can find the first one.

Did you see the new Los Cabos is open? We went Monday night - yummy!!!
Nope. Not going to Dallas this weekend. We haven't been to the game since 2003 (the year Courts was born). Maybe we will start going back again next year.

We went by there last Saturday before we went to the Fair. We thought it would be open, but they had a sign out front saying something about "Training in Progress". When did it actually open? So it was good, huh? We might try it this weekend. HOWEVER.....did you know about the new Italian place that just opened at 81st and Aspen (145th)? It's called Napoli's. They have another one in Muskogee that I have eaten at. It is WONDERFUL Italian food. And the bread is to die for!! Not sure which place we'll go to this weekend.

There is one near me. I'll have to give it a try.

pozey, that Italian place sounds good. Now I'm craving some fettucini and garlic bread!

I see I'm not the only one who's tearing through those Plum books. I also started just a few months ago after reading about them here, and I'm set to finish #8 today!

I chided my boss this morning about not telling me she spoke with my interviewer. Boss seems to think I'm a shoe-in for the position and all the blather about 2nd interviews was just a formality. She strongly encouraged me to take the new position when (not if) it is offered. I can't help but wonder if she is trying to hint at something? She even gave me advice on how to negotiate a higher salary. If I do make the change, I'm going to miss working for her. She rocks.
