Angela, nice to see you here again! I can relate to having something that can't be fixed. I don't know how much you've been reading, but I'm due for two corisone shots in the back of my pelvis (ouch!) on Monday. This is Round Two on the shots, I don't have much confidence that they'll work. Beyond that, there's not much they can do for me. I have also had it suggested by friends - not medical professionals - that I could have fibromyalgia. Tired all the time, unspecific muscle pain. I don't think that's it though, since my pain is mostly on one side. Anyway, welcome back and wow, your trip is getting close!
Donna, those cookies sound delicious!! The girls & I made pumpkin-shaped cookies the other from an adorable kit I got. They were yummy and oh so cute, but I would never have bought the four dollar kit had it said anywhere on the box that it only makes eight cookies! I am having a terrible sweet tooth attack right now, and have no sweet snacks in the house. *sigh*
It was so nice here today, mid 60s I think but it didn't feel chilly. Not to me anyway. I had forgotten how much I like wearing my leather boots with a skirt!
I mentioned my upcoming birthday to that guy at work today, but he didn't take the bait. However he did spend his break and most of lunch chatting with me at my desk. I worked up enough courage to ask if he'd like to have a drink sometime and then wouldn't you know it, he snuck back in from lunch through another door! What a waste of my super shiny lip gloss.
Linda, I'm glad you liked my funny story! It's kind of sad when I see something weird and think "Hey that would make a good post." It's an addiction.
