Hey all--
It is cold in my house and all of this talk about Minneapolis makes me want some hot cocoa------anyone else??
Jill-----boy, talk about one extreme to the next-----Florida to Minneapolis?? You're a brave girl.
I did live in Minneapolis about 9 1/2 yrs ago for my esthetic training at the Aveda Institute. I was there from the beginning of March until mid July. It was cold and lots of snow for a while but I'll tell you, once spring hit, it was absolutely lovely!!!!! The snow was fun too, I'm just not much of a snow person. I like it if you can stay by the fireplace with a good book or someone special.
My whole experience there was probably the best time I have had in my life!!! One thing that I do remember is the people!!! They seriously are some of the nicest, most warm and welcoming people you will ever meet!!! This means alot, especially since you are used to Boca.
I miss Carabou coffee!!!! And the lakes, and, and, and.
I lived in Hopkins, but fell in love with Edina. The school was downtown so I had a bit of a commute.
One thing I do have to say about the Minneapolis/St. Paul area----culture----you are never at a loss of something to do!!!
PM me for more details------if I can remember----I haven't been back since school----not by choice, just coincidence. I'll come visit!!!!
When will this take place??
Donna----no reason about the question of EE.
Did you sell all of your popcorn???
I got some cleaning done----but mainly tried to just take inventory for my trip. I need to go shoe shopping tomorrow.
Michele---love the pics of Matt and his gang. Brings back the dance "jitters" memories. He is going to break some hearts in his day. What a cutie!!
I'm glad Blake is closer to his destination of home!!
Lyzziesmom----what's for din-din?? Is Lyzzie a picky eater?? Emma?? The only reason I ask is because my niece and nephew went through their chicken nugget stage. Isabella is getting better about trying new things, but Gianni still is a bit stand-off-ish when it comes to new foods. They are 8 (in Dec.) and 5, respectively.
