April, I thought the queue at Everest was amazing though! I would love to go thru it just to see those things again and take my time. The first (and only) time I rode it on Tuesday I was so nervous I was barely paying attention to anything!

Great pics, btw. I love your costumes. I cracked up at all the kids around your sister/Snow White. The real Evil Queen looked pretty evil. I can't wait to go. This will be my first MNSSHP----I'm not sure if we are dressing up. If we do, nothing fancy.

I know what you mean. And we saw a special on Everest over the summer right after it opened so I remembered the show as I was walking through but I didn't really have a chance to look. I admit, I was sick after I got off of that ride. My DSis and DH went on to ride Primeval Whirl (which is a ride I love) but I couldn't get on it after that. I just had to find a nice cool place to sit and rest after that crazy ride.

I know what you mean, I felt a little lightheaded after Everest. Jeremiah insists that I was cracking up during it (which I always do during rides I like) but I can't remember laughing during that one!! Maybe a nervous laughter??! You guys will see in the pic, I DO NOT look like I'm enjoying it! But I'm glad I tried it, and now I actually have the proof that I went on it!

I DO remember laughing my head off during Dinosaur though! One would jump out at me, I would scream bloody murder then start laughing hysterically!

Lyzziesmom, I have a quick picture question..With our new digital camera, we got some software that I downloaded that manages our new pictures we upload. I'm trying to upload the new pictures on a different site and they are saying they are too big to upload..How do I make them smaller? They are a JPEG..I thought that was the right one to have it on.

Just a quick note...Blake is stuck in Amsterdam Their flight out of Bombay was delayed 3 hours which caused them to miss their flight from Amsterdam to Detroit. He was due to land here at 10:30 am The latest email I got says they should land at 9:30 PM now. boo hoo He will miss Matt heading off to his first HS dance. I will have to have my dad come over to tie his tie.

NO!!!! that is not my prom picture that Lesa posted!!!! Just wanted to clear THAT up.

I have to run, Matt is starting his testing this morning, wish us luck!!

Good morning---

it's rainy and dreery out and all I want to do is stay in bed, maybe watch a movie and nap.

But, things to do, places to go, people to see (actually not that)---just things and places.


Lesa and Donna----merci for the coffee and apple turnovers. I used to love to make those Pilsbury turnovers when I was little. A little pastry chef back then too, I suppose. I was always concerned that one had more filling in it than the rest. Not fair to the other turnovers.


Quick ?? for all you EE riders-----is there a chicken exit door?? Can you go through the line and look then bow out at the last minute?? Just wondering---not that I would EVER want to do that.

Sorry to hear about Blake getting stuck. I'm sure this is so hard for you, thinking that he is coming home and then to have it delayed a full day.

Great pictures April and Ashley! Ashley Your mom is 37? Oh my do I feel old. How old are you? The story of the little girl made me laugh. Actually it was not funny at the time! Madison was throwing a fit at AK this last trip so I was dragging her little butt out of the park. We made it from the safari to the front of the park in record time, however she was screaming "leave me alone, I want my daddy". I was sure I was going to be hauled off by security. However at that point I would have happily said, nope! She's not my kid!!!

***At some point I may have gotten April and Ashley's posts mixed up but I'm not going back to try to figure it out. Too many people getting back from disney at the same time.

I know its a far cry from a Smith or Jones I like to think its got pizzaz

the CUTEST little boy (not cuter then Kenny though!!!) came up to us and told us he was lost.

Ashley That is SO sweet that just made my day!!! Awwww!!! not that the little boy was lost of coarse but that he was the cutest...but not cuter than Kenny... Awwwww!!!! You'll see just how cute he is in Feb. I'm so excited!!! I can't wait...

Thanks, ladies, for the wonderful breakfast. I admit I'm a late riser this morning. But boy was it nice to sleep in. That's what you get when you stay up with the night shift (wink, wink).

That is so cute! And thank you about the pics.
I love Peeps. I love them best when they're just a little bit stale. I've liked that since I was a wee little one. That's how my family always ate them. We get a box of peeps and poke a hole in the celephane (SP? Oh spelling nazi?? ) and then let them get just a little stale. You don't want them to stale mind you, just a little tiny bit firm.

Boy if that doesn't sound like our Ms. Plum. We had rain two days ago. Now we're sunny and blue skies. --Don't mean to rub it in.

I don't see why you couldn't exit EE. They have them up there. Part of the great fun of that attraction is the queue area display. They have really neat stuff in there. Did anyone see the special on the Discovery/History/Travel (I can't remember which one but one of these) channel about this ride? When they went to Tibet to really get the feel of the country and the people and also to purchase authentic goods from there, they would actually go into stores and buy the WHOLE store up! The imagineers said it was like those store owners hit the jackpot when they walked through the doors purchasing the entire contents of their stores. It really is worth a look see if you wouldn't mind standing in line with all the ride goers. We got there early in the morning so we didn't have that much time to look as we were one of the first riders of the day and the line moved pretty quickly. You know one of the perks of opening the park Anyway, and on our second trip through we used fastpasses so we really didn't get to see anything in depth. Definately very cool the way they have it set up, though.

I am actually surprised I'm awake at this hour! Last night when I went to bed my #1 intention was to sleep as late as humanely possible because I was so exhausted! I feel nice and rested now though.

Linda, Kenny is waaay cuter than that little boy was! He wasn't even close in the cuteness factor compared to Kenny

Lesa, I'm 19 (20 next Sunday!) My mom was only 17 when she had me, so thats why she is only 37.

Oh, I have another story to tell you guys!

Last Friday, our first night, we had 8pm ADR's at Le Cellier. You guys (or those of you who have eaten there in the past) know how close the tables are to eachother, so you get pretty friendly with your neighbors! We actually all had the same waiter and he took all our orders at the same time and talked to us all at the same time (It was very strange, but I didn't mind because the people were so nice and I was enjoying talking to them.)

ANYWAY, there was a couple next to us and we were talking about where we were eating during the week, etc. They were getting ready to leave that Sunday but it was our first night. All of a sudden she mentions the Disboards and Allearsnet! I was like "I go on the disboards!!!!!!" I didn't get her sn, I really wish I did. But it gave her husband & Jeremiah the opportunity to bond, they discussed their shared hatred of the Disboards together! How they could never find their wives and then find them hunched over the computer, how they would have complete conversations with us and we wouldn't hear a word. Jeremiah actually mentioned you guys, he said, he was imitating me and said "Oh honey, leave me alone, I'm chatting with the cliqueless!!!!"

It was so funny. (They were just joking of course...or were they??? )

I wonder if I could find her on here, it was nice chatting with her.
