Grace is about 35 lbs and I hope she doesn't get any bigger. Her newest thing is carrying around a stuffed animal in her mouth whining her loudest and wondering the house for a good 10 mins. looking for a place to "bury" it. She has been digging on the floor, couch, beds, you name it. Luckily she has not done it in the yard, but then again she is not aloud out by herself because she manages to run away.

YM...Popcorn did that much damage to your tooth? What brand? I want to be sure to stay away from it! $800 YIKES!

Well I'm off to take Madison to pick out a cake. Tomorrow is her birthday! Nothing like putting things off to the last minute.

Hi Lesa...at first I thought Grace was a bigger dog but when I saw her dressed up she didn't look as big. Sophie has been digging and barking and today we decided she needs her nails clipped...three of us ended up with scratches that bled. My oldest is also having terrible trouble with his allergies. Since we are going to start allergy shots I will make sure he's not allergic to dogs (he's not supposed to be or we wouldn't have adopted this one). They think she is just probably bringing in more pollens on her coat.

I'm not sure what kind of popcorn we have. Trust me...if you could see how much of the tooth was filling I don't think you would be too worried. Still...they say popcorn can crack a tooth....I believe it now.

ARRRGGHHH

I had a full post done and lost it!

It has been a weird weekend around here. Blake and I had a stupid argument yesterday and never really worked it out. Needless to say, since we were barely speaking we didn't go out for our anniversary. Maybe we should just give up and try again in Nov for my birthday?

I don't think I have mentioned this but yesterday we started a series of meetings and testings for Matt to see if he really does have ADD. I have thought he does for a while now. His ped says that if he wasn't diagnosed by age 7 then he doesn't have it but I see so many signs. When he was at the MS I could keep an eye on him and one of the SpEd teachers kind of took him under her wing and would work with him too. He was placed in a Language! class she taught. His reading/comprehension skills were very poor. He was in there for 1 1/2 years and it really helped. I had the school psychol test him and all she told me was that he isn't LD.

It has taken me almost a month to get him in for this testing. The funny thing is the lady I have been talking to has a pretty thick German accent. Imagine my surprise yesterday when she introduces herself - she's this tiny Asian woman! I almost fell off my chair when she started talking

Hopefully I can get Matt the help that he needs.

Speaking of Matt....the coach told him he would start at QB this week. I am bummed tho. Blake will miss seeing him cause he leaves tomorrow for India and my mom, who goes to almost all of his games, probably will miss it too. She is in IL, my sister is having a hysterectomy tomorrow. So mom took the train to help out with her. Keep an eye on Mom, Lesa!!

Mi mom...I'm sitting here shaking my head thinking I could have written half of this...almost. My DH and I celebrated our #13 under the same circumstances. It's kind of sad but I understand...things just aren't perfect.

My younger son is in first grade and we are having all kinds of issues but he's so young we're not sure if it's maturity or what. So far his preschool teacher and kindergarten couldn't really figure him out. I can't always figure him out and now is first grade teacher isn't sure.

Just keep on keeping on girl! I hope you can get Matt's learning situation figured out! Great news about the next game...good luck Matt.

I was so embarrassed--I had to go into work for a couple of hours today and a guy I work with in the spa---we joke all of the time--but he doesn't play on my side--ya know--wink wink----anyway, he asked me in front of clients how my meatballs were last night. I looked at him and I think we both turned five shades of red as I was biting my lip to keep from laughing. He started laughing and had the nerve to say to his client "private joke" which made me giggle even more. Good thing I knew my client really well. With my new schedule I will only get to work with him once every two weeks, which I hate because we really have a good time when we work together. He makes it fun.

The 1st POC was on last night. Yeah I know what you mean. I worked in a salon from 17-19...got my cos license but took the phone co. job for more $... I miss the salon though. Lots of fun. Too bad you can't work w/him more. it makes it so much more fun. I miss the clients, u meet some really nice people!

Linda - How is the bathroom coming along? So will you be doing the x-mas shopping today. My mom told me the other week that she has almost all of hers finished. I usually start on back friday and will get last minute things all the way up to xmas eve.

The bathroom looks great we do good work I put Kenny down for a nap after lunch and headed to Toys R Us...I got him a Harley Davidson bicycle 50% off... ended up being $100 then they had Power Rangers toys buy 2 get 1 free...so I got tons of that stuff...now he's about done. I got him some power rangers stuff put away from wdw and stuff put back from just seeing things I have to have... I'd say I'm 90% done... I just hate the cold weather, the rude people and driving w/stupid people the closer the holidays get people get so rude, crowds, no parking... forget it...that is just no fun. I get it done early so when Dec. hits I can stay in the warm house...we the corn burner cranked ... decorate the house and bake goodies

Lesa that is too cute! I love when they do stuff like that. I think it's cute how they have to circle around before they lay down like their ancestors did to push the grass down first. no problem there w/carpet!!

Hey, good news for everyone involved in the Cliqueless Convention (not so sure it's good news for me though)----I was just playing over on Allears--ya know, drooling over menues--I am definitely NOT restricting myself in Oct. OR in Feb.----anyway I for some reason clicked on rehabs/refurbs and RnR is not mentioned AT ALL!!!!????? I then came over here on DIS and checked the same thing and....nada.......WORD!!!!!!!!!!!!!???????????? Maybe they knew the Crazy Cliqueless were a-comin' and changed their minds?? Oh well, thought you all would be excited about this news.
p.s. have you ever noticed that I have the worst run-on sentences because I always have a thought within a thought within a thought?? Just a thought.

we finished the bathroom floor, I went Christmas shopping, then we went to calling hrs. for a church member and then to my moms house. Mom gave him some cards...he wrote "Love Kenny" inside and said he was going to give it to Courtney I told him "no your not or her parents will be knocking our our door" he tells my mom he has 3 girlfriends at preschool and "they just love me" one of them kissed him on the cheek on the bus... oh my goodness... this child is gonna kill me hope you all had a great weekend!!

I am so bored right now, I could spit. Ooh, real ladylike, huh?? So sorry. Might I add that I have so many things that I should be doing, but what fun is that??

Well, I ended up just driving by Wendy's---well, alright---I drove by Wendy's via their parking lot and drive-thru window and there was a sign--"We are sorry for the inconvenience but Wendy's is closed until further notice". hhmph, well, okay. So quickly in my head, I mapped out the route to the next nearest Wendy's----on a mission now---that and I really wanted it!! I must tell you that in my quest for the now infamous vanilla frosty I ran out of the house with the first thing on that I could find-----black casual skirt, brown t-shirt and pink flip flops. I was a walking color wheel. Anyway, I drove to the next Wendy's and once again----CLOSED. Someone was telling me that I did not need that frosty or the burger and fries I was going to get along with it. ssshhhh. So, after my jaunt around town I ended up at Culvers and I am paying for it now. Feeling kinda icko. When will I learn?? At least I won't be eating any dinner because everything sounds disgusting. Whole Foods here I come--tomorrow.

p.s. I was talking to a friend tonight and happened to mention the Wendy's saga and they mentioned that the news had on that all Wendy's in the St. Louis area are all closed---probably going bankrupt. So, no Frosty's EVER for me. I don't know whether to be happy or sad.



Jill---hope you do okay at work and at school tomorrow. Don't overdo it.


Nicole---I am definitely an overpacker as well!!! Sometimes I feel the need to break out my steamer trunk. I get made fun of even with the purse that I carry daily. It is so heavy and I keep trying to shove more and more into it. Last week my nephew went into my purse when no one was watching and said, "aunt ???, why do you have an apple in your purse??"


MImom---wow, you have alot on your plate!!!!! I'm sorry you weren't able to celebrate your anniversary again. Hopefully things will blow over.

Hi!! I'm back!!
Well, if 2x2s is Wilma Flintstone, you all can just call me Betty Rubble!!!! Yesterday morning when I tried to sign on at 7:45am the broadband connection was down and has been since!!! DH just fixed me up with dial-up so I could pay some bills on-line.

2x2s::The kitchen sink breakfast was very....filling!!! Yuummmm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BTW here is Ashley's itenerary for yesterday, today and tomorrow.
*Saturday, Epcot Day again!! Lunch reservations at Coral Reef at 2pm. I think I may go to Magic Kingdom at night to see Wishes, or I may just stay at Epcot to see Illuminations. I don't think I'll be able to see it Friday, since it starts at 9pm.

*Sunday, Magic Kingdom day, finally!!! Tony's Town Square reservations at 2:05, leave for break in the afternoon, and come back to MK for evening EMH

*Monday, MGM day!! 4:50 reservations at Mama Melrose with the Fantasmic Package, seeing Fantasmic for the first time!

Yesterday DS had a birthday party to go to. It was at our local Rec. Complex. 2 hours of swimming, pizza and birthday cake!!! He had a great time. DH and I were hungry so we went to our local Mexican restaurant, Tequila. They are good and reasonable!!
I came home to still no internet, so I read Steph Plum #2 and took a nap in the recliner.

This morning I woke up to still no internet, so I got dressed, did laundry, ran the vacuum and cleaned 3 bathrooms. I missed my internet, but man does my house look good!!!

Speaking of Wendy's...This summer the family decided we would stop in one
night for a quick meal. I got the Chicken Caesar Salad. As I got about half way through it I noticed it didn't taste quite right. Well, the bottom of the salad with lettuce, chicken and some water was kind of rotten. I wouldn't say just "off", but really like it was beyond "off" and just really BAD!! DH took DS to the restroom and he said it stunk so bad in there and had flies flying around, that they got out of ther really fast!!! I wonder if ours is closed as well? I drove by it last night, but didn't pay much attention. Perhaps the fiasco we encountered had something to do with the closings!

I love the choc ones that makes me want one now. walking colorwheel I bet that was cute! Sorry you're not feeling so well now. we had Digiorno pizza busy day and didn't feel like cooking. Well, Mike does most of the cooking anyway. Our Wendys better never close...I love it!!! I have to have my fries w/cheese sauce I know what you mean, my moms b-day is Dec 12th and dads is Dec17th and uncle's is Dec 19th...and sisters is Nov 3rd...Kennys in Feb... shopping isn't a problem for me. Worst case..there is always shopping on the internet

Donna...no internet so sorry!!!! I would have done the same thing... clean the house. Ours needs it. It is usually incredibly clean but w/us remodeling both bathrooms...we've got some waterspots on the floor from carrying buckets in and out...and I can see dust... gotta clean this house GOOD next weekend, if not sooner!!! I'm allergic to dust and grass, talk about your most common things around you... oh well.

I shop all year really... I have rubbermaid containers on sh's in the basement and I just throw the stuff in there when I see things I really like...

That's okay about the Wendy's story---I just have the weakest stomach known to mankind. I think I told the story about when I was little and if the dog would get sick my mom would yell to get me out of the room or else there would be another mess to clean up.

I have the funniest story about a time when my sister and I were having lunch as little girls.... but I can't tell it here----too humiliating. Remind me in Feb. ----just say SOUP and I'll remember.

I really do wake up in the morning sometimes resembling a cross between Wilma and Donald Trump with the big "turd curl" on the front of my head. Talk about scary!!!!

I wouldn't take YM logging off right when you came on too personally. I'm sure she is just putting the boys to bed or maybe she fell asleep at the keyboard again.
