Nicole, I was disappointed with the Tink tattoo to see that it was the same kind of transfer tattoo that we have at home; however, she still has it and it still looks brand-new, 2 weeks later!

Anyone hungry for a late night snack??

meatball-01.jpg

I have been craving one of these for days now but won't allow myself so I decided a virtual one would be okay. Hey Mambo, Mambo Italiano. I am PMS so I feel like I have a hollow leg, I could eat a house!! Sorry, TMI.
YM--This is the reason I do not like flying--all that reconstituted air with all of the germies. Feel better!!!

Oh my goodness...Cupcake....you've been reading to much Plum.... :lmao: Don't you have a Pino's in St Louie :teeth:

ARGHHH....I think I might wear a mask on my next flight...plus we always have connections so that a whole another plane full of germies.

Oops!! :blush:BUSTED!!! Was this at what time? :rolleyes1
YM::Sorry you are getting a cold. I'm still trying to get rid of mine. Still a little bit of a sinus headache in the a.m. and sore throat in the p.m.
Is your son doing any better, poor guy?

Hey Donna....yep I caught you doing laundry and DISing....I'm so bad that I will run to Walmart or Target and forget to log off.

My DS is feeling better but only because is is taking prednisone....not what I want him to be on. It sure does help with allergies and asthma but it's not good for a growing boy...too many side effects (like growth failure). He is never on it for more than 5 days at a time. We are working on getting the allergy shots going. He needs some retesting...sigh.

I'm feeling crappy but crappy from home. :thumbsup2 No one needs 200 hours of sick leave in the bank. :rolleyes1 However, for someone that only works two days a week it's very hard for me not to feel guilty for missing a day. :guilty:

I'm almost packed too, Ashley!!! I just can't ..quite..get...all of...me in....here.

Maybe by tomorrow afternoon I will figure it out.

Donna...what can say to this...I'm dying here... :lmao: :lmao:

Love the shoes but I'm afriad you might get a blister or two :confused3 :teeth:

Hey,

I'm back for a minute before I must go to work. Again, I don't think I am very busy this evening so if I go in and nothing has booked at the end of my night I may try to cut out a couple of hours early since I am going in for two hours tomorrow---my rightful day off. We'll see----they have gotten so strict over there now--even though we are commission. But who wants to sit there with no clients while NOT getting paid----waiting for a walk-in?? NOT I!!!!

All this talk about T. Toast and Pine/Mac pancakes made me very hungry this morning. The best I could come up with-----oatmeal with canned light peaches. YUM. :teeth:

Nicole----yay for your single digits. I cannot imagine how you are feeling right now. I'm freaking out because I have three weeks and have no idea what I am packing, etc. I need to do a little shopping without spending too much money. Yeah, right.
Next week, baby!!!! AK--here you come!! :cool1:

Lyzziesmom---no wrench here---plain is good too. Just don't make a wierd face at me when I order strangely. :crazy2:
You never told us your pizza eating tactics. Or should I not ask?? :teeth:
Emma sounds like a real character!!! I have always thought about getting a tatoo but I can't anymore (or at least not right now) so maybe I will have to just have Emma do her artistic work.
I know I have told you this before, but Lyzzie's eyes are absolutely amazing!!

YM---I know, I know----I'm pretty sure reading about Pino's meatball subs gave me the craving. I did see that St. Louis has a Pino's but it is downtown and I have no idea where it is located. I don't want it if Morelli is not there though. :rolleyes1
You need some chicken soup, girl. Ask Donna to whip up some for you.
I was crying I was laughing so hard last night at her luggage photo. :lmao: I tell you, that girl can really come up with some stuff!!

Gotta run----catch you all later.

wow... missed so much...lyzziesmom...love the tattoos... Kenny would get along w/them great :teeth:

ym 200 hrs vacation and 2 days a week... that sounds like MY kind of job :cloud9: !!! hope you and ds both get feeling better soon! I hate allergies and sinus problems!!

Ashley... hmmm she is probably on her flight now?

OH...I can't wait til Feb :woohoo:

:wave2: gotta go back to work...have a great Friday everybody!!

2x good to see you here during the day  buy 2 cars get one free  that's a great deal ;)

Happy to hear that Matt has finally gotten to suit up. Sad to hear that he hasn't gotten to play yet. His time will come.

I don't think I've ever asked........what position does he play?

He's the back-up quarterback and free safety.

I feel so bad. When we were in WDW in Aug Matt bought himself a ring. He got it over by Pirates. It's the kind where they carve names or initials in the ring. Well, yesterday when I dropped him off for football he takes off the ring, grabs my hand and puts it on my thumb. It was too big even there but I wear thumb rings so I just moved mine above it to hold it on. He said he wanted me to wear it for luck. :sad2: I lost it!!! I know I still had it on at the end of the game but when I was waiting for him I was holding my blanket and I have one of those fold up seats and I think it fell off on the rocks. I didn't realize it until we had been home a while. I ran out to him and asked if I had given it back. Nope. Blake was going to go to the park today to look and I told the coach today in case someone turns it in. I am devastated. I have to call Disney Merch and see if I can order him a new one.

Had a relatively uneventful day today. The principal is out today, Mon and Tues. But no major problems. Actually things run more smoothly when he's out. The 2 teachers who take over for him run a tighter ship than he does. They don't put up with anything. More kids get sent home for things when they are in charge. The principal will keep kids in the office, but that just makes it difficult for the secret. The teachers idea is if they can't behave we don't want them in the building.

Hope Ashley is having fun!!! She should be there by now right??

Good girlie...oatmeal and peaches. :cheer2: So far I've had two cups of dry cereal and 2 cokes. :sad2: I didn't buy cokes for a couple of days and DH went into withdrawal. Good luck shopping....don't go anywhere other than Target or Khols. :teeth: I went to Dillard's the other day with my mom and wanted the whole fall collection of Ralph Lauren....cute cute jeans...for $130 and jacket for $230...and really they aren't the most expensive line of clothes out there. :rolleyes1 One of my sisters' really gives me grief for shopping at Khols....but hey I'm going to WDW!!!! Oh, if I was a little closer I could be a walk-in today.....sometimes I wait a little too long for those brows of mine :teeth:

Yes, I've had tears in my eyes a time or two with some of Donna's pics.... :rotfl2: Yeah...Donna I'll take some chicken soup too. I'll be on antibiotics in about ten days for a sinus infection....I feel the swelling as we speak...just need the bacteria to start multiplying.

Linda....hey not to bad to have near 200 hours sick leave and 200 hours annual leave banked for a part-time job. I'm tyring to use some these days. I earn 5.5 hours of annual a month and 5 hours sick leave a month. :cheer2: I had my gallbladder out last Feb and didn't even take a day....what's up with that. :teeth: I'm getting wise in my old age..if your sick...stay home. ::yes::

oh no Michele! Do you have, or know someone w/a metal detector? Worst case we can get a replacement in Feb...

Linda...I must confess that the pay sucks. :teeth: Isn't there always a catch. I do it to just keep my foot in the door just for some extra security for the family....and for continuing education to keep my license current. My DH works for an airline manufacturer so it's been real scary at times. I can get full medical insurance at 50% FTE...so I don't want to give my job up. My boss makes it hectic at times.... :teeth: I could triple my pay by working contract...maybe some day

I know in telecommunications... my company use to be twice the size we are now...watching everyone around you get laid off :sad2: not fun!! We had about 6 females at one time...I'm the only one left! We have offices all over the country...but as for ours here... its been crazy. it pays pretty good but it can get stressful...but what job doesn't. I don't blame you..keep your foot in the door :cool1: definitely use your time you get!! well...time to head home. today I was completely lost...I forgot my cell phone at home  I hate that!!!

Hi everyone! mmm tonga toast that is the one thing I cant wait to try. I love realy sweet things so judging by Pozeys description that should be right up my alley.

I think right now Ashley and Jeremiah are exploring POFQ and will be heading to Epcot, do I ahve that right ms. Donna.

I keep trying to read my first Plum but so far I am only on page 16. I find myself having to reread paragraphs over and over again, hard to concentrate when you are sick. I am hoping to get through it this weekend I should start feeling better by then.

2x - I am usually one of those that call last minute loking for an appt and right about now i could use one. I didnt like the girl that did mine lst time she took my whole brow off and then said it was bc of where they are placed on my face. Soemthing tells me she just wasnt that bright.

Michele - I hope you are able to find that ring. If not you should have no problem ordering it over the phone to be sent to you. Nick did this when he asked me to marry him. He called ahead and had sent over one of the little rings with the 3 cz that make a mickey head and that is what he asked me to marry him with. I ws very surprised htat he thought of all that. I wanted to keep it as my engagement ring but he wanted me to pick out "a real one". I still wear the mm one on the other hand.

Hi to everyone I will probably check in later, I hope everone is enjoying a nice meal.

How adorable Jill!!! :cloud9: I've gotta see that ring :cool1: I was drooling over the jewelry at the Poly  !!! Great taste he has :goodvibes

Linda - telecommunications! We've got two (used to be) large employers here who are telecommunications companies. One of my best friends used to be an SS7 techie for one of them, and missed all the layoffs over the past 5 - 7 years. She's got a family and a DVC payment, and got tired of playing layoff roulette, so she finished her teaching degree and is teaching middle school science to gifted kids, making half as much. We used to have one of the spring up telecommunications companies in one of our buildings, they were fine for five years, signed a 5 year lease renewal, then went belly-up about 6 months later.

Jill - neat story about your 'engagement' ring! Too cute!

Michele - sorry to hear about Matt's ring - hope you're able to find it/replace it!

You guys are BOTH too good! If I only had that self control - I'm being very bad tonight, in a Stephanie Plum kind of way... so I go to Target earlier to pick up Plum #6, and leave with book, a box of taquitos and a pint of Hagan-Dasz mint chip ice cream.... all because I got into an argument with DD earlier today and I'm ticked (she was in big time Diva mode and I don't put up with that).

So, I'm in for an evening with my computer, an episode of House and Gray's Anatomy, my new book and my ice cream. WooHoo!

Dznyfan...sounds like a great evening :cool1: Mike is watching Deal or no deal...I'm sitting here on the dis. I was reading some cool stuff up on the cruise board :woohoo: I've never been on the Wonder but its getting for a great remodel on dry dock...

Our company has split in 1/2 of what it was..but we're now hiring several back so that is a good thing...we contract to all the major phone companies. Their employees maintain the eq. and poles etc. but our co. are the ones that actually install the eq. initially, remove the old etc. plus anytime a company wants their own eq. we install it too...I started out right after I turned 19 traveling the country installing the equip. it was pretty cool. I love to travel...but when you want to settle down and start a family...its time to hire on where they don't travel so much. I've been w/this co. 7 1/2 yrs. when I hired on here I became the quality auditor, then trained a few retirees from the phone co. and I moved in the office...now I get the fun part of more account mgr, timesheets, quality mgr, hr... basically they keep firing people at corporate (birmingham AL) and giving me more to do. thats fine if I can work from home more :teeth: I can see where she wanted something else ::yes:: I can't wait til Mike has all his stuff together...see if I can either work from home more or tell them I'm leaving and starting nursing school :goodvibes
Sorry you and Erin had an argument :grouphug: I remember being that age :rolleyes1 I thought I knew it all :smooth: so my mom says...boy that Haagen Daz does sound so tasty!! Actually we got into it w/ the x and his wife too :sad2: she sends a letter home in Kennys bookbag EVERY weekend!! She wants to know when he went to the dentist last, when has he gone to the Dr.? She wants a full set of clothes to keep there b/c she can't ever find them to send back  it is so ridiculous...so she just keeps some of what I send for him everytime...so last night I didn't pack a pr. of jeans b/c they keep keeping some there...they were trying to send him home w/thin shorts on and tried to say they had to put her sons jeans on him today for school :furious: ummm EXCUSE ME... You kept his clothes there from last weekend..and you still can't find them :confused3 give me a break :sad2: I know she's seeing a psychiatrist...she needs to go MORE!! Oh my...Kenny's only 5!! She tries to control everything..and that will not work. At least it's Friday... :woohoo: that's it...I'm going to go get some ice cream too :teeth:

Does she think that YOU, his MOM isn't capable of taking care of YOUR OWN son??? And they need to buy some clothes for him instead of keeping what you buy there for him - of course I guess the only way they couldn't keep the clothes you send would be if you only sent with what he was wearing, but as good parents we can't do that, because it'd be wrong!! ;)

Well, if it makes you feel any better:

oh yummm :) thank you :goodvibes yes..she loves to cause problems!! I really try to ignore the notes week after week after week...but it's really getting old esp. when they try to send him home in shorts when its so cold out :sad2: .It annoys me considering the teachers at his preschool complain to me all the time about her!! The things they've both done... she's sent him to school on Fridays w/his pajamas on under his clothes, she's sent him in the same clothes he wore the day before :furious: I just want to move where they can't do this to him anymore. He is the only one getting hurt. He had nothing to do w/him until a year ago when they met...then I think well she is going to a psychiatrist so she obviously has a problem!! I just keep documenting everything....taking pictures... and wishing he'd just stop the nonsense and leave him alone! He hasn't seen his other son in 10 yrs and I dont know if he realizes how this really impacts their life. It may be games to him...but it's not to that 5 year old!

Hey Linda and Dznyfan

I just got home from Maggie Moos with my youngest DS. My appetite is off because I'm not feeling good but DS kept saying he wasn't hungry for dinner. I finally ask him if he had ever had ice cream for dinner. Noooo....so we headed off for ice cream. My oldest son had baseball practice tonight and was going home with a friend. Poor DH ended up with a turkey sandwich...he passed on the ice cream dinner. :confused3

Linda...I really feel for you and the x problem. Are they married?

Dznyfan...you know how to take care of yourself. :woohoo: Sorry about DD. :teeth:
