Lyzziesmom that first pic of the whole group is real cute, I also thought the one of Emma hugging Minnie was pricesless.

Ash - the mugshot we have many pictures with that look. Your hair is so nice I am jealous!

Jill, that's funny, I went to school with a girl who was a Dvorkin. Very close!

Spelling Nazi here... it is adamant. Just think of Adam Ant and you've got it!

Even though the resorts were very crowded, the parks weren't at all! I was pleasantly surprised. The longest we waited was for Peter Pan, and that was about a 45 min wait. It actually picked up a bit at Epcot yesterday, but that was because it was the soft opening of the Food & Wine festival for the cast members (but everybody could buy stuff.) I was happy because I thought I missed it this year by a day!

I was just reading the past posts and was cracking up out loud at the picture that Donna posted with the woman's leg hanging out of the suitcase. :rotfl: :rotfl:

I needed to see it that night, I needed some laughs! I didn't tell you guys what happened. At about 2 in the morning Friday I got woken up by this VERY LOUD noise and I figured out it was the smoke detector. I started freaking out, trying to wake Jeremiah up who was sleeping like a rock, trying to grab Ruby and the cats (and Guffles) while it went off. It continued to do that the whole night, every 5 minutes. We called emergency maintence, who of course never came, so we were up the whole night. I think that was why I had that meltdown when we got the bad room location at POFQ, but I definitely perked up when we got to Epcot and ate at Le Cellier!

We actually had another experience- last night after we ate at Nine Dragons. I was going to go to the bathroom and Jeremiah was waiting outside, well the bathroom was too crowded so I just came out to search for another one, when the CUTEST little boy (not cuter then Kenny though!!!) came up to us and told us he was lost. So I took his hand and walked 10 feet into the China pavilion and Jeremiah went to look for a security guy. I told the manager at Nine Dragons about the situation (BTW, I wasn't happy with how he handled this situation at all, he was such a jerk about it) and was just talking to the little boy, asking his name and age (he was 3 years old and his name was Aiden.) He was holding my hand, just chattering away when all of a sudden he said, "Oh, ok, I'm going to find my Mommy now" and started RUNNING full speed away from me! Well I started freaking out (picturing milk cartons with this kids name on it) and told Jeremiah to grab him or something, well ofcourse you can't grab another person's child so we just followed his little light-up sneakers around the countries while he proceeded to scream at us "STOP FOLLOWING ME" and bursting out into tears. Finally a security guy came with his mother, but what an experience!

Welcome anytime Dolphingirl (Kim)-----you know you can hop back in anytime!!! We don't care if you respond to our crazy chatter----just great to hear from you!!!!! :cheer2: :cheer2:
What have you been up to?? Are you still working in your DH's building, or was that temporary???
The job was cut due to budget cuts. I'm now taking time off anyway to deal with some medical issues. It was nice while it lasted and hope to work there again in a different position. It's a hospital so there are many other positions.

Lyzziesmom----I don't know which picture is cuter!!!! Emma reminds me of my neice at her age---fearless of the characters--sorry Ash--no disregard intended.
I love Lyzzie's poses!!

I am so afraid what the weather will be like in two weeks. That rain---not sure about that. Yikes.

Donna---I looked up Wilma smilies and there was this posted. Are you kidding----me think of that??? Yeah, right.

Ash----don't worry, some people just don't like the characters. To tell you the truth, I just admire from afar too. I don't mind them, but I don't need to get my picture with them. I do remember though, the year that Beauty and the Beast came out---I was in WDW and HAD to search out the Beast for a photo. This is when the characters roamed free and I was in MGM or Epcot---can't remember and he walked right out of the "gate" where they stay and NO ONE was around but me and my group. I was in heaven. That's about the only time I was desperate for a photo.

Hi Jill----that's a tongue twister.

Hi, Kim!!! :wave2:

Ashley::What a weird experience about the little boy. I guess finding his mother was the important thing. I felt uncomfortable leaving my almost 8 year old sitting outside the restrooms in WDW. I really had to go and made him promise not to move or go with anybody no matter what!! He was like Mom I think I know better than that!!! Well, you can never be too sure!!

Well, guys, I'm going to have to go. We have to sell popcorn door to door for Cub Scouts tomorrow. We all have to meet a 9am. Have a good evening and I'll see you tomorrow!! :sunny:

OMG, Ash----that is an odd story!!!! I'm glad you followed him or else you would have been wondering the whole time (probably forever) what happened to the kid!! Very scary. Did the mom say anything??

Kim---I'm sorry about your medical issues. I hope everything is alright or soon to be. :grouphug: :grouphug:

Jill---I hope you're right about the weather. I little nervous. Rain just never seemed to enter my mind. :confused3

By the way, Ashley, those darn Lovebugs were EVERYWHERE when we were down there too!

My sister hated them. I didn't especially love them but she really hated them.

Night Donna--

see ya tomorrow.

Have fun selling popcorn----if you're in my hood, stop by----I'll be cleaning.
popcorn:: popcorn:: popcorn::

Don't tell YM you're selling this though---I'm sure she never wants to hear this word again. :teeth:

Kim, you will be in my thoughts concerning your medical issues. It's good that you can have this time to concentrate on them. Earlier this year I had to go to Atlanta (I live in Delaware) and have surgery with a specialist. It took quite a while for me to recover and a full 3 months before I felt like my old self again. All of that and now we're moving. It has been one heck of a year. But, I am glad that I was not working and was able to devote myself to my health and recovery. Good luck to you.

Nite Donna. I love Cub Scout popcorn popcorn:: . I just wish I knew some cub scouts.

The mom was hysterical. I think I understand "Thank you so much, oh my god thank you so much, why would you do that? (to him) thank you so much"

That was about it.

I also had a weird experience on the airplane today. I went walking up to the airplane bathroom :crazy2: and was waiting my turn when this woman came walking up with this weird look on her face. There was a woman standing next to me (waiting for her son, probably 6 or 7) to come out of the bathroom. The woman walks up and starts saying "Oh, I'm sitting next to you and I keep hearing you say your going to spank your kids $@@% if they don't shut up, (she had the 7-8 year old and a little baby, probably 6-8 months old)well I'm a mother of 4 children and I think you need to take a parenting class, you dont spank kids when they are on the airplane and they are crying and their ears could be hurting, I spoke to the flight attendant and she has your name and if I hear this abuse again, I'm going to report you" and going on and on!

The male flight attendant and I were trying not to stare and actually were trying to ignore the scene they were making! I don't know what the one woman was saying or doing to deserve that- I guess she was being really nasty to her kids. The woman was like completely shocked and couldn't even answer the one who confronted her!
