Even though the resorts were very crowded, the parks weren't at all! I was pleasantly surprised. The longest we waited was for Peter Pan, and that was about a 45 min wait. It actually picked up a bit at Epcot yesterday, but that was because it was the soft opening of the Food & Wine festival for the cast members (but everybody could buy stuff.) I was happy because I thought I missed it this year by a day!
I was just reading the past posts and was cracking up out loud at the picture that Donna posted with the woman's leg hanging out of the suitcase.
I needed to see it that night, I needed some laughs! I didn't tell you guys what happened. At about 2 in the morning Friday I got woken up by this VERY LOUD noise and I figured out it was the smoke detector. I started freaking out, trying to wake Jeremiah up who was sleeping like a rock, trying to grab Ruby and the cats (and Guffles) while it went off. It continued to do that the whole night, every 5 minutes. We called emergency maintence, who of course never came, so we were up the whole night. I think that was why I had that meltdown when we got the bad room location at POFQ, but I definitely perked up when we got to Epcot and ate at Le Cellier!
We actually had another experience- last night after we ate at Nine Dragons. I was going to go to the bathroom and Jeremiah was waiting outside, well the bathroom was too crowded so I just came out to search for another one, when the CUTEST little boy (not cuter then Kenny though!!!) came up to us and told us he was lost. So I took his hand and walked 10 feet into the China pavilion and Jeremiah went to look for a security guy. I told the manager at Nine Dragons about the situation (BTW, I wasn't happy with how he handled this situation at all, he was such a jerk about it) and was just talking to the little boy, asking his name and age (he was 3 years old and his name was Aiden.) He was holding my hand, just chattering away when all of a sudden he said, "Oh, ok, I'm going to find my Mommy now" and started RUNNING full speed away from me! Well I started freaking out (picturing milk cartons with this kids name on it) and told Jeremiah to grab him or something, well ofcourse you can't grab another person's child so we just followed his little light-up sneakers around the countries while he proceeded to scream at us "STOP FOLLOWING ME" and bursting out into tears. Finally a security guy came with his mother, but what an experience!
