Ok here's the way I understand it: When you post a picture that you have a copy of on your computer, linked to Photobucket or some other site, what the computer does is this... the link tells the DIS site where to look on your computer to find the picture. If you resize it in Photobucket, then the Photobucket link tells the DIS to resize it before posting it. Y'all with me so far? BUT, here's the kicker.... sometimes something gets lost in the translation, and the DIS will still look for the OLD, un-resized version on your computer. You need to "refresh" your page to update the link, and then it will tell your computer to look for the NEW, resized version. Is that about as clear as mud?
I may not have mentioned this before, but I am a tad bit of a computer geek. I can't do web pages or programming or hacking or anything ubergeeky like that, but I can usually figure things out pretty easily. My degree is in computer graphics, but everything I learned is now hopelessly outdated 11 years later.
Anyway, good morning everyone! What is everyone doing today? My parents are coming over to help with more work on the house, they called this morning from Lowe's trying to explain light fixtures to me over the phone and ask which one I want. I asked my dad to email me photos from his camera phone, but he sent them to my phone instead forgetting that I do not have a camera phone, so they just bought them both and are bringing them over, and will return the one(s) I don't like. We have VERY different taste so we shall see how this turns out! Then I think we are going to check out the annual Plaza Art Fair. We have never been, but it sounds like fun and it's a pretty nice day out today.
I saw a chipmunk run across my back patio this morning. It was too cute! I think it was Chip, because it's nose was not red. It was running too fast to get a good look at it though.
"See" you later, alligators!
