Ah, Linda... smelly men. I don't miss that part!

Ashley, don't you love how they think they're so slick? That's very cute about running to get the DVD for you. I DO miss that part.

pozey, very cute about your little Romeo. He'll get around to it when he's ready, I wouldn't push him. Sounds like the girls will be flocking around him soon enough!!

And Donna.... HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! I made a special cake just for you, but I'll warn you: it's a little one the large side.

Well I survived my cortisone injections today... with the sedation it was actually not that bad. My mom took me back to her house (I was too out of it to insist on going back home) and I had a big lunch and then slept the rest of the afternoon. That was nice. It's starting to hurt now but not much more than usual.

Funny thing... after I woke up, I sent a quick text message to my date from the other night, just to say hi. Didn't want to disturb him at work & all. The immediate reply was, "Why aren't you here???". Oops! I had forgotten to mention to that I wouldn't be at work today. Glad I got that straightened out!

Happy Birthday Donna!

All this birthday cake this weekend has me squeeeezing in my pants!

Well we're home. We had a great time in Michigan! It was so nice to be home. Our visit in Ohio was a bit hectic. We were at my Aunts house less than an hour before she broke her leg and sprained her other ankle. She was going outside to see Grace when she fell off the deck. So most of Sunday she was at the hospital. On the bright side I was able to have a peaceful visit to Ohio without running into my mom. I also got to spend lots of time with my Aunts two cutie daughters.

Angela.....Don't worry too much about the EMG. I have had two of them and they are not really that bad. It's more of an uncomfortable feeling than anything.

Ashley.....Ruby in her p.j.'s is just too darn cute!

tmi...but that reminds me of the hockey game... Mike asks me if I have to use the restroom...yeah...Kenny and I will go real quick during the break... I take a few steps and turn back around to get a kiss...when I'm hit by this ROTTEN smell... I had to start laughing oh...that's why you wanted us to get out of here!!! MEN!!!

Tipical man! Sorry Pozey! Women don't do stuff like that!

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY EVERYONE!!!!

I had a crazy, busy weekend and didn't get to check in too much.

Can I ask a favor? Can everyone put my DH, Chris, on their prayer list if you have one? A few weeks ago he was getting his regular eye exam and the optomitris noticed a small tumor on the back of his eye and sent him to get a regular physical. His doctor called today and thinks it might be the early, early stages of MS. He has to go see a neurologist ASAP. The doctor says if it is MS it is in the earliest stages and their is a lot they can do for it at this point, and that we shouldn't worry right now, but we can't help it. We are both only 25 and to hear this news now is terrifying, even though it is early detection.

On a lighter note, my puppy graduates from puppy school on Saturday and we get to go to the fair and see Dirty Rotten Scoundrels that night. And, my sister in law and I are trying to plan a trip to the world in January!

I spent Saturday morning getting an eye exam. I haven't been in a while (I can't stand it). I ended up needing new contacts (I knew I would) and I finally got glasses (I usually just wear my contacts, but then it's hard to take them out, because I am near blind and can't see anything. So, my eyes never get a rest). Anyway, my insurance will only pay for contacts OR glasses, not both. I have to pay for my glasses- $172!! The frames were only $17. Oh well.

Hope everyone has a great Tuesday (it feels like Monday to me, since I was off yesterday).

Pozey - how did you like Los Cabos?? We went (again) on Saturday, just DH & I - since DD (who claims to NOT like mexican food) was at work. Well, of course she was put out because we went there - (but you say you don't LIKE mexican food!?) - oh, no says she, I LIKE Los Cabos - it's good! I can't win.

DznyFan - Los Cabos was very good. We still like Ted's just a little better, but we still enjoyed Los Cabos very much. The food was excellent and the waitstaff was very attentive. The queso was great, although you have to order it as an appetizer separate. But we gave it a thumbs up.

mommyintn - Wow.....Ben's ear looks bad! But I am glad it isn't serious and that it doesn't bother him!

Donna, it was a cake commissioned by Disney Company on the occasion of their head illustrator retiring. I don't know his name, though.

Hey you Southern Tulsa people....where is that new Mexican place? We've only been to Ted's once since it opened...we must think BA in like OKC or something. Did you notice the rain...it's rained enough to actually get the street wet.

Amber....aren't the prices for glasses crazy. I was buying a pair this summer and they had a retail and a discount price on the frames ($225 and $145). I was going to get them for $145 until I convinced her I had $70 frame allowance. So she took it off the retail price and they cost me $155....oh my goodness can anyone say SCAM!

Los Cabos? It is right next to the Bass Pro Shops store just off the BA Expressway and 161st Street. Right on the lake they made. There is also a Lone Star Steakhouse that looks to be very close to opening as well.

I have yet to see ANY rain today. Not a drop! I am ready for a little rain.
