Who feels like a threadkiller - Take 4!

:woohoo::woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

Today is two's day.

:dance3::dance3::dance3::dance3:

I know it's a small thing but heck, life is made up of small things :upsidedow

Hi everyone!

Just got back from my brother's anniversary reception. The cake turned out really nice. Unfortunately, I forgot my camera. I took pics on my phone, but I am unable to transfer to my computer. Anyone else able to do it?

We borrowed my folks car (they have a Jeep) so I could transport the cake on an air conditioned flat surface. When DH was putting it in their garage, he dinged the door, so we have to get that fixed....OIY! It's always something!

I hope ya'll are having a great day and I'm off to bed! Take care!

Uh oh, sorry to hear about the damaged car.

Hopefully it won't cost too much to fix but car damage repairs are also so expensive it seems.

Glad to hear the cake turned out okay. Maybe someone else took a picture that you could share with us.

Threadkiller cruises are all encompassing!

I would like to get John to go...he is still resisting.

He has always been funny like that-I think if I book it and simply said "we're going" he would.

Congratulations to your Kelly and all her school mates!
OK, keep me 'interested' then! If not WDW, then maybe a cruise will suit DH better. It's actually ME who's afraid of being 'confined'. :confused3

TY for the Kelly congrats!

I had to look back and see if I had actually typed that Kim.

That's hilarious. Guess I'm trying to turn the clock back just a wee little bit.;)
I can't quote what you didn't type! I was :rotfl2: too! I also wish it was September, because then my Oct trip would be upcoming! :thumbsup2

Congratulations to Kelly and her school on all of their wins.
TY!

Congrats on the cake! Sorry about the jeep!

I am excited, altho I should be sleeping (I work in the now-AM) but, someone else is driving Kelly to band Monday night! Not me! I can watch Dancing with the stars! But - I do need to get her to school in the AM, and me to work! Caio!!

Kim - I'm sorry I didn't say this earlier...congrats to Kelly. She's such a sweetie! I'm glad she enjoyed herself and personally did well!

I've got stuff to do today, so I'm off.... (insert Betsy's car smilie here)

But if you were "confined" with a bunch of us, I think you wouldn't have to be afraid......... well, maybe you would :rolleyes1 :lmao:

I won't guarantee that I could make another threadkiller cruise at this time but if it looks like there is going to be a gathering on the Dream, you can be sure that I will be doing everything that I possibly can to get there.

I wonder if we can book the Dream while we are onboard the Wonder in January??

Hmmm, something to think about.

Have fun getting your stuff done today Ann.

I'm not sure yet what I'm going to do but the weather's supposed to be great. 66º predicted for this afternoon :yay:

Well, Liz has gone back home again after her weekend here.

She has finally gotten her new computer finished up to the way that she wanted it.

She wanted to be able to watch telelvision on it and was having trouble getting it proper.

Now she has television on her computer in her own room.

She can watch what she wants when she wants to.

Ann, I know Mary doesn't come here very often any more and especially not right now but please pass on my love and good wishes to her.

Thanks Ann! :goodvibes

:lmao: It's not the TK confinement I worry about ;) - it's the cabin and the fact that I can't reach ground out there sailing away! :sad2:

Well, Liz has gone back home again after her weekend here.
That sounds backwards. :upsidedow Wasn't she HOME and now she's back at her place? ;)

What's wrong with Mary? :confused3

:woohoo: Dancing With The Stars :woohoo: Go Donny! Go Aaron! Sorry for the commercial.

Much to do, even at this late hour - sorry, gotta :moped:

Hi Everyone!

Mary's husband is in the hospital with severe congestive heart failure. I guess this has gone on so long that he's had some damage to his heart. The good news is they think he'll be okay with some lifestyle changes. We're all keeping our fingers crossed and lots of P&PD.

On a side note - our washer AND dryer bit the dust yesterday, so today we're gonna bite the bullet and get a set....

Ya'll take care! I'm going to get the dog groomed, get some routine maint. done on the car and get appliances. Aside from do whatever I can for Mary.

Oh, no Ann. Not both of them at the same time.

Well at least you can buy a matching set this way.

Do you have any certain brands or types in mind.

We are Maytag people in this house :confused3

Kim, I honestly think that once you get yourself on a ship you will have no trouble at all.

Really it's like being on a big floating hotel. You won't even hardly notice that you are on the water.

Maybe you'd be best to try a short cruise (like a 3 or 4 day) that spends a lot of it's time stopped at ports.

That way you minimize your actual time at sea.

At least until you give it a try.

I've got things to do today too, like going to work:rolleyes:

I just spent 20 minutes getting blood out of my new cream coloured quilt. :headache:

Both cats were on the bed this morning and I noticed a bit later that Duster had dried blood on her ear.

Thought I best check the quilt out and sure enough, there were several spots on it.

Thank goodness it came out fairly easily and won't be noticeable to anybody else but me.

Wow the disboards are chatty today.

This thread was already half way down page 4.

So Sorry about Mary's husband, Ann! :sad1: P&PD said and sent!

Maytag here, too. :thumbsup2 Minor repairs over the years, but it's the same set we bought over 15 years ago. :thumbsup2

Robin, I'm sure you're right about the cruise(s). Just knowing I have anxiety issues, makes me anticipate the possibilities more. I know that sounds like more anxiety, but actually, with planning, I have been able to head-off many 'attacks' that previously happened before I knew what I had. ;) I can do things like RnRC but not ToT. RnRC is DARK, I can't SEE the impending danger and doom :lmao:, ToT is totally visible, and it's HIGH in the SKY! (I'm laughing at myself right now! :rotfl: )

Chattier than this thread. :rolleyes1

But, I'm bumping. :thumbsup2

Good Morning Threadkillers!

I'm off again today! Yesterday the doggie was groomed, I got the car worked on, we bought a washer & dryer set (Samsung front loaders - I'll take a pic later) I got some meds for my ear infection, called my step-mother (her birthday) and did some general clean-up around the house.

Today, I'm off to visit Mary & her husband. I don't know if they are doing a heart cath today or tomorrow. They keep putting it off because of the amount of fluid he's retaining. It's a ton! Then, I'm visiting my folks. Dad is having surgery today. He has some skin cancer on her nose and it's enough that they are most likely going to have to do a skin graft. On top of that, the washer & dryer are being delivered this afternoon, but hubby is taking care of that one!

....unfortunately, the hospitals are about 75 miles apart! So...lots of time in the car! Glad I had the oil changed & tires rotated! Plus they replaced the battery - said it was darn near dead! Fortunately, it was under warranty, so it didn't cost any $$$. I'm glad they found it so I'm not stranded on the side of the road!

Ya'll take care and I hope everyone has a nice day!

 Kim

In my opinion Tower of Terror is a heck of a lot LESS scary than Rock N Roller Coaster:scared1:

Morning Ann.

Sounds like you have a busy day ahead of you.

I don't think your battery would leave you stranded on the side of the road....... in some parking lot somewhere is more likely:thumbsup2

Ours always seem to die right here at home:laughing:

Hopefully all your hospital visits turn out to be pleasant ones.

Hi Threadkillers,

Thanks for the good wishes for Mary's hubby. I don't know if she's checking the page or not...

Today was a day of tests and they are going to do more tomorrow. Hopefully, we'll know a course of action after that.

I'll keep you posted and please keep up the P&PD!

I'm off to bed....got another big day tomorrow.

Before I go - some good news! Dad's surgery got all the cancer on his nose...but it's gonna leave a scar. The washer & dryer were delivered and they are awesome!
