Happy Valentines day a day late
We had a nice dinner @an italian place. Mike had a chicken dish and I had scallops. He had already gotten me some chocolates, and a cute schnauzer statue before we left. I got him a card and a magnet. It's not a big expensive gift holiday for us.
Today I will get my hair done nag go to the rink and check out the skaters. I'm not sure what else, but I'll find Somthing.

Maybe I will go out today and get my own flowers. The leftovers are probably all marked down to a good price

Well I have been a shopping fool. Not that I bought a lot, but I have checked out every store here in the KC Crown Center.
and in the last couple of days...
Ive had my hair done, swam in the pool, went to a mini train show, and checked out the Hallmark visitors center..where I have taken a couple a great photos of original pieces of artwork by Norman Rockwell(my favorite painter), and a Grandma moses...Very nice!
We have also been to a few very nice restaurants, so there goes any weight loss I had when I started this mini vaca. All in all its been fun!..Coming home tomorrow and back to work Sat.

Today It should be in the mid 70s...but not really any place to go out and enjoy it!...

Im not sure what I am going to do today...But I'll find something!

We thought about a weekend away but since it is a long weekend here and also for all of you we thought better of it.

We just want to get in the car and drive far enough until the temperature suits us and stop there for a bit

Although it has been quite warm here the past couple of days. The snow is all melting quickly.

Well I am back in the SNOWY north...

Our flights on Friday were fine. My poor son who was traveling the same time ended up coming back on Sat. and had to sleep the night in the Detroit airport because the winds were so high here in the northeast, all our airports were shut down...BUT he made it home alright yesterday...so alls well that ends well....

I am really hating this winter. Normally I dont mind them, but between having to get to work, and all the extra days of snow we have been getting...I WANT SPRING!

Today is my day off and I am sitting here by my nice cozy fire, dreaming of our Aug. WDW trips( both this one coming and next years)

I was actually up at that time Robin! My fifteen year old daughter has a recurring nightmare. She hasn;t had it in a few months but it came back last night!Poor kid. It bothered her enough that she actually came and woke me up. She has never done that before.

Oh, I'm so sorry to hear about her nightmares. I hope that is the last one she ever has.

I get recurring dreams too but they are not usually nightmares.

I hope that tonight we all manage to get a good long restful sleep

I have work today...12-6ish, depending on what emergency may or may not come in.

I also have a bit of laundry to do, but thats it.
