Who feels like a threadkiller - Take 4!

The trip was great Betsy. And we all made it back home safely, despite of the weathers best attempts to stop us.

It was nice to spend the weekend at Alex's. It was Alex, Steph, me, Rick, my mom, Liz and Steph's 17 year old sister Sam, who hitched a ride with Liz.

It's nice to go there because Alex cooks and take good care of us

We went on Saturday night to a concert in a city a hour away. The day started out lovely but by the time we left for the concert there was virutally a blizzard to battle and still battled on the way back to Alex's house.

We all really enjoyed the concert so it was great that way.

Anyways. Back home again and back to another normal week.

Well its looking like we will not have to go to KC.. Phew!..I wasnt looking forward to that. I wouldnt mind going in good weather, but this winter has been sooo bad...and KC is getting it worse then us..I am a warm weather traveler, unless we are traveling TO the warm weather..

We got another 6 or so ins. last night and its still snowing.....I dont have to be to work til noon, so they may have the roads cleared by then...IF it stops sometime soon...

There is so much info and photos coming in from the Dream cruise..I have really been enjoying all the TRs and TA blogs...I am becoming addicted to the Disney Dream!...LOL I dont know how I will survive the 1 1/2 years I have to wait...

I can see not wanting to do that trip in the middle of winter. Who would keep your fire going for you so that the pipes didn't freeze?

I prefer to travel when it is warm, unless of course I am going to somewhere warm while I am travelling.

Gettin ready to go to my temp job...... They want ALOT for very little.
He is a CPA who still hasnt even started doing taxes yet!!!!!! They havent paid for the software.
I have to tell people complaining on the phone, that the software wasnt updated yet do to Obamas changes. And half of them believe that!!!

Cant stand lying to people. But if they are dumb enough to go to this guy, then so be it. One look at his office and one should run away.

Sounds like a tough time ahead for you, DisUnc! I hope you have few calls complaining and the software arrives quickly!

A quiet day for me today - but Sunny has her first training class. She needs it! She went so far and then quit! She's still not fully potty trained - although she's doing well..... We have a spot cleaner for the occasional accident.

I'm looking forward to this - she's 16 weeks today!

I hope you get a call from one of those jobs you really would like, so you can get out of this one ASAP...sounds frustrating.

It looks like we WILL be going to KC!...We leave on Monday 6AM...wont be back til Friday afternoon... I already made arrangements for Albert..he will stay with my son..Doug.
and We will have to use our propane wall heaters while we are gone, with one of the boys checking a couple of times. Mike is also going to turn off the water pump, in case we do freeze a pipe,, that way we don't come home to a flooded house. Mikes a bit worried about that, but ya gotta do what ya gotta do... I dont blame him I wouldnt want to have to fix pipes in the dead of winter either... and I told them at work and they seemed ok with it.

Work at noon...

Now lets see if this post actually posts...

Ugh KC in January! At least you get to be with Mike this time, though.

Looks like it should be a bit warmer here next week so hopefully all will stay well with your house!

Good very COLD Morning to my TKer friends

I did see that the weather is going to be warming up a bit
and I looked at KC and it should get to the upper 50s by mid week...I'l take it!
Mike will be gone most of every day...but, there are quite a few shops in the hotel complex we are staying. I figure I will do some shopping, and maybe even try to find a salon and get my hair done..it so needs to be colored and trimmed...I am also bringing my laptop, hopefully ill find some WiFi.I have a few books on my iPod I have been wanting to finish too...I'm sure Ill keep myself busy with something.

Work at 1PM today...
I met the cutest Burmese mountain dog pup yesterday. 6 weeks old with paws the size of the palm of my hand..This is going to be a BIG dog..But cute as a button right now..all fur and fluff, ............and tongue.. just a trippin all over his big feet...sooooo adorable

I have to vacuum the floors today... the living room always gets wood pieces, and bark all over by the fireplace...Albert doesn't help as he likes to pull out the smaller kindling and chew on it in front of the fire..so there is almost always a little pile to pick up there....

Oh! I almost forgot to tell you....Its my son Doug's and his twin daughters( Victoria and Elizabeth's ) Birthdays today...Sooo Happy Birthday to them all!..I dont want to mention how old this makes me feel!

I have delivered 72 cupcakes (scratch coconut with cream cheese frosting) to family and friends and took my parents to the airport! I'm off to pick up my co-op veggies in an hour....busy, but lovely day!

I couldnt get connected in my room. It's a very nice hotel with a connection to many, many shops and even a skating rink!
