It's not too late. Give the care over to your sister for a week. We're staying at POR in the AB section. There are only 4 NSalz's...you can use the trundle bed!

:thumbsup2

Our washer broke last weekend! It wouldn't stop filling. Right before our trip! We never have extra $$$ before a trip.....oh face it we never have extra $$$$!:lmao: :lmao: SO we figured we'd call a repairman or buy a new washer after we got back. But then I googled our washe model along with the words "repair instructions" and found on line instructions from a plumber. Took about 1 minute to fix! Just had to repair some hose. The end had broken off, so just had to cut off a 1/4 inch at the end and reattach. I am so proud of myself! Man I wonder how much $$$ we've spent over the years ditching things that were easy fixes.

Of course the washer could explode any time and then I'll be the last one laughing. I wonder if this is like when people decide to buy a book at Barnes and Noble to do their own legal work and then they call me to clean up their mess!:scared:

My Mom is visiting my DS & DDIL...:cool1: ...For a week!....

:snooty: I am SOOOOOOOOOO Jealous!

have a GREAT WEEK!:yay:

I hafta say...I still haven't let go of our cabin yet....I believe we have until 90 days prior to really decide that we can't go...I'm holding out that fate gives us a happy twist.

(I doubt it will but the optimist in me is still hopeful)

:wizard:

Nutin yet! BUT I did see a racoon last night! I dont think they are out in the winter!:confused3

I am ready for sunshine!:thumbsup2 Not packed yet, but thinking about it!
Just printed out our boarding passes for Southwest A20 through A24!:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

I am so excited!:cool2:
:wizard: :goodvibes  :3dglasses :yay: :cheer2:

:woohoo:

You should have an easy time of sitting everyone together, how do you guys split up on a plane?

DH and DS are going to FL in the next month...when MIL leaves, Dad will come back. Both Adrian and John want to fly down to visit with John's Aunt and then drive back to NJ with Dad.

MIL is still "looking for an apt."

I made it clear the other day that I am making sure she is actively looking for a place to go. Turns out DH is almost as upset with her as I am....he just shows it less cause it's his Mom.
We have 2 kids with an adult and one kid with the other adult. If we ever had to bhave someone sit single DD(16) says that wouldn't be a problem for her. With A seats we're always fine. Once we got B seats and we were fine then too. We'll either sit in rows across from one another or one right behind the other.

Next time MIL goes out looking for an apartment, change the locks!

Let's get this packing thing done already! :cool1:

It's a done deal!:thumbsup2

if you would like to support my entry in the 3-day 60-mile walk for Breast Cancer, please visit www.the3day.org click on the "donate now" tab & enter my first & last name (Brenda Tsuda). Your support & donation is GREATLY appreciated, but of course....no obligation~

I'd love to donate Brenda but I seem to be broke at the moment...

I've always prided myself on the time I give to charities and the household items I donate because I know there's people out there that need even what I could simply throw away....my sister works for Catholic Charities, my donations seem to primarily go to them. Laurie is the manager of a safe house for battered women. I even gave a car to them once ::yes::

Brenda - you can get donations right up until your walk date right?

Did you see us on the news? Or the NCAA game? BIG scary storm. Glass windows falling out of buildings - CCN, hotels... Georgia Dome with damage. It was dark, and we won't know the extent of damage until the sun comes up and then we're expecting more storms! They don't know if it was a tornado, but the strength of the winds to do the damage to the structures they did had to be close to cat F3. They've canceled the Home Show for tomorrow, they may cancel the St. Patrick's Day parade, at the very least they have to move the route. They have to move the GA game to GA Tech for tomorrow because they canceled the game tonight. Such a busy weekend in Atlanta and now they have tons of people to move around and relocate.

Colleen, you are getting very very close to the 10,000 post milestone:thumbsup2

and yet another 7000 behind you...

I used most of today for homework...I got my stamp project finished -

I did the Wolves.

:goodvibes

Just watched "The Nanny Diaries"...:thumbsup2 Good movie!

We ended up driving over to Michigan today to look at 5th wheel travel trailers.

When we got to the bridge to cross the border the line up was huge.

Therefore we didn't end up with much time to "shop".

We did get to look at a few though to get some ideas.

No decision has been made as of yet.

:wave2: Hi Tkers!

We all survived, save for some hail damage to the roof of one of my rental houses. What a scary twenty-four hours! The storms just kept coming, it was the weirdest weather I've experienced in a long time (I've lived in the South for 15 + years) and I've seen a lot of weird Spring weather down here.

I hope everyone had a great day. Looks like PD left already, so I'll be wishing a good time and try to squash my jealousy! I'm relying on my Disney Vacation Countdown Widget to cheer me up... Days: 47, Hours: 20, Minutes: 50, Seconds... :goodvibes Cannot wait. :cool2:

Cally has not checked in? I am not sure where in GA she lives, but the storms did not seem to discriminate, so I hope everything is Ok!

St. Patrick's Day food today at Mom's (because my sister is showing her house, cross fingers PLEASE!), so anyone interested in Corned Beef, Cabbage, and Irish Soda Bread, come on over! :thumbsup2 There's room at the kids table. ;)
