Spent the weekend at Ohio's jr. high state wrestling tournament, and didn't get home 'till 2 am today, so I took the day off from work. Have a Corona in my hand right now!

John is at therapy, he's allowed to drive himself now....he goes back to work on the 25th of March...it's sad to say I am looking forward to his going back and my having a quiet house for a few hours a day

the Jelly Bean factory isn't too far from here - an hour or so north....i've never been there but some friends have - you can buy LOTS of JB rejects (misshaped etc) really cheap.....i'm not a big JB fan....just give me chocolate any old day~

been up since 1:30...can't sleep as DS had a small car accident yesterday after school he is okay & there was no one else involved....but his car is in pretty bad shape - won't even know the full damage till they lift it up & look at the frame....just one of those things that you hate to deal with

President Clinton is speaking in my local HS tommorrow night. I am in a lottery to get tickets to see him! Wish me luck! Never saw a President in real life before. I did see Bobby Kennedy, in a Sears Parking lot, as a kid when he was campaining back in the day!

HOLY COW!....Easter is this coming weekend....AND i have hardly anything done in my planning our easteregg hunt and dinner...

Well dinner is mostly planned...
Lamb, with pan browned potatoes, Ham with scalloped potatoes, Broccolli, and brussel sprouts, a couple of pies...YUM

But I still have to go out and get the prizes for the hunt...I get a prize for each age cat. that makes three prizes....and the decos, and the table settings...
AND....ya cant forget the wine....lots and LOTS of wine....LOL

PLease everyone pray for nice weather on easter...The kids havent been able to have their hunt for the last two years....because of the weather...its been Easter Bingo for the prizes, and they would really love to do their hunt instead....ixiedust:

Had a GREAT time yesterday shopping with my DSis,( Its been a few years since we have been able to do that)....and then last night we went out to dinner with mikes DB and DSIL...I had tortilinni primavera in an alfradio sauce(very good)....
Im trying to get a hair appt. for today or tomorrow...Id like to get it done before my Mom gets home on Thurs....

Brenda, that is very scary news.

It's something we all dread and hope never happens to us.

It's not a good thing to happen but maybe he has learned something from it.

He's a fairly new driver isn't he??

I bet even though he wasn't really hurt that he does hurt today.

It seems that the day after you find all of the bumps and bruises that you didn't notice the day before.

Thank you all for the well wishes! Yes he is OKAY....he was SOOOO scared yesterday - as he didn't know if he was being shot at by a gun with bullets or what...it turned out that it was just a paint ball gun - but they didn't know....until after the accident & saw all the paint splatters on the car. Didn't recognize the SUV that was shooting at them - & couldn't see who was in it - so have no idea if it was anyone they knew...probably not as he doesn't really know anyone from Watsonville except the kids at his HS....but then he would have recognized the car. He was going too fast - trying to get away from the car shooting at them & too fast to make a curve in the road properly....could have been SOOOOOO much worse....so we are all thankful that it's only car damage.....

I wanted Lamb too, but my neices DH got a free Ham from his job. And it is HUGE...so no sensein making both for Easter. I will make a lamb some other day.
