I have no feeling at all in my left thumb and pointer finger!!!! It bothers me when I am at the store counting change (total feeb move) or trying to get percription bottles and pill holders open!






For the First time ever in my life, I wish I was a NSALZ!

It's not too late. Give the care over to your sister for a week. We're staying at POR in the AB section. There are only 4 NSalz's...you can use the trundle bed!

I've been helping my kids get their Disney cruise all set...they are sailing with my Mom (and Brenda and Aisling) at the end of the year.

John and I were supposed to go but fate has decided we don't need to this year....I WILL get him on a Disney Cruise ship one day!!!

SO sorry that you too can't go! But if you keep your MIL away next year at least you'll actually have the house to yourselves!

All is pretty much quiet and peaceful around here right now.

Well except for the washing machine and the dryer

Our washer broke last weekend! It wouldn't stop filling. Right before our trip! We never have extra $$$ before a trip.....oh face it we never have extra $$$$! SO we figured we'd call a repairman or buy a new washer after we got back. But then I googled our washe model along with the words "repair instructions" and found on line instructions from a plumber. Took about 1 minute to fix! Just had to repair some hose. The end had broken off, so just had to cut off a 1/4 inch at the end and reattach. I am so proud of myself! Man I wonder how much $$$ we've spent over the years ditching things that were easy fixes.

Of course the washer could explode any time and then I'll be the last one laughing. I wonder if this is like when people decide to buy a book at Barnes and Noble to do their own legal work and then they call me to clean up their mess!

GOOD MORNING TKERS!

My Mom is visiting my DS & DDIL... ...For a week!....
So Im going to spend the day doing ME things...
Im a happy TKer....

ALSO...I saw ROBINS !!!!!!!...Yesterday...LOTS.....YEA!!!!!

and Red winged blackbirds.....AND flocks of geese have been flying over going north for the last couple of days.....

THERE IS HOPE FOR SPRING!!!!!

I am so sorry to hear about the parents DU..... ..
I know exactly what your going thro...and I probably wouldnt have agreed with you a bunch of years ago, but I DO now.....I would for sure take a bunch of kids over parents ANYDAY....

Hows Rick doing Robin?....I hope alls well now...

and for John too, Colleen!...BTW, I had no idea you were'nt going on the cruise... ...So sorry to hear about that

I hafta say...I still haven't let go of our cabin yet....I believe we have until 90 days prior to really decide that we can't go...I'm holding out that fate gives us a happy twist.

(I doubt it will but the optimist in me is still hopeful)

Enjoy your week of freedom Betsy! You definitely deserve some time just for you! I just took the dog for a walk and saw crocuses in bloom! That is a sure sign of spring...robins and crocuses!

You should have an easy time of sitting everyone together, how do you guys split up on a plane?

DH and DS are going to FL in the next month...when MIL leaves, Dad will come back. Both Adrian and John want to fly down to visit with John's Aunt and then drive back to NJ with Dad.

MIL is still "looking for an apt."

I made it clear the other day that I am making sure she is actively looking for a place to go. Turns out DH is almost as upset with her as I am....he just shows it less cause it's his Mom.
