I think they review the entries to make sure they meet the required criteria....street legal...insured....etcetera....

from there...I'm not sure....

I know in 2001,,,,they selected a primary car for each year and an alternate....in case the primary couldn't make it....

I expect they'll do the same this year....

I suppose too they might take colours into consideration.

You wouldn't want a parade of cars of all the same colour.

could be....there were 4 yellows in 2001....that was almost what? 8%?

anyway....all 300 of the 1953's produced were polo white....so...white would be the only color able to span the years...and I'm not sure white was available evry year...

I can't imagine having open windows so high up with no protection and children or pets having access to them.
