Yeah.....i know he'll be missed - he was one of the first fish when Monterey opened the aquarium...i forget how small he was....so he was definitely the big daddy

DU the boys were out of school Friday. They are now on Fall Break and will not have to go back to school until the 25th.

They sure are getting a lot of breaks this year. In March they have Spring Break for a whole week.
Ryan only got yesterday & this next Monday off, but he will get the wk after Easter too. He is off 2/28 & 2/29 as a gift from the Bishop....thats why we're going to DL then...

Well it's official, my first day of work is Tuesday. It's just for orientation but I will be there from 930 - 4 !

Brenda's taller than someone! Yeah - you should also see how tall i appear when i'm around DH's extended family most of those Japanese ladies are 4'something!!!



John and I had a nice dinner out last night with my sister and dbil. John had prime rib and I had veal parm (our usuals.) He had some trouble when it came to cutting his meat but he is improving every day

good thing he has such a great wife!!!

I was able to get a close up of this... I don't know what they are though... I kept calling them lil worms

Those are garden eels. My nieces/nephew love watching them. I swear we could leave them in front of that tank for hours!

Busy weekend for me. Mom and Dad are back from Florida today so I have to run by their house and make sure everything is in order. My sister is doing the cake for the February B-day bash tomorrow but doesn't dare start it because a Realtor called and wants to show their house today.
We could use some PD for that, as they've had their house on the market since last August and haven't had a single offer! If they don't sell, we can't start building the family compound (really... ) - good thoughts are appreciated!
I have to get gifts for the nieces still today. I'll talk to everyone later.

Aunt Michelle, you are da Bomb lady! I just had some apple crumb that hubby bought for me the last time we went out grocery shopping. After dinner at Mastori's last night, we always get a little something from the bakery-John picked carrot cake for him, strawberry cheesecake for moi and cheese bread for the family~You cookies do sound yummy~

Today's homework is all done btw...this stuff isn't necessarily hard, just VERY time consuming...

Mackenzie got some Spring clothes from Old Navy @ 40% off!
James got The Simpson game for Wii!

He has a Ear infection and aint feeling to good this evening. Watchin TV now.

We have the program to rip them to the hard drive but now we need to burn them to dvds.....

Since you are serious, dSLR (digital single lens reflex) is the way to go...

Read up on the features (on Amazon) of the two models I mentioned. My nikon with the two lenses and a two gig memory card was just over $600 with free shipping. Expect to pay that much or more~

Good luck camera shopping Cally...I have the Nikon D50 - which was out before Colleen's D40....i think the 40 is a little smaller which would have been really nice...but like everything; wait a year & something better - but smaller comes out....

We had such a yummy dinner....DH BBQ'd hamburgers....i haven't had a HB for SUCH a LONG time - it was really good!

Cleaned the guest room today (remember Xmas vacation & Ryan changed bedrooms so a lot of the extra stuff went into the guest room so that just left me with a lot of extra work - stuff to go thru - i still have things to go thru & probably can toss a few more bags of stuff....maybe tomorrow i'll do more

YES maam...the guest room is once again a guest room - just needs to be dusted, vacuumed & its pretty much back to a real guest room.... took me long enough didn't it? That's what happens when a door just gets closed

Me too! I cannot afford membership to the 33 Club! I love the Disney stuff on HDT - it's almost like I am there! I might have to go just for the Indiana Jones Adventure - because they are some of my all time favorite movies!

I love HDT - I recorded the Disney World Ultimate one and it had more than what they show on the Travel Channel. If you noticed, there were not commercials every 11 minutes! I can't wait for the movie either. I think I will have to start planning a trip to Disneyland! You know you are a Disney addict when just watching the parks on television is enough to give you goose bumps!
