I noticed my post # was 660....

that means post 666 isn't too far away....

pity for the superstitious ones....

LIKE ME!

YIKES!!

Oh well...I like you guys....so...I'll ramble awhile....and take one for the team

My oldest Granddaughter auditioned for a school play....she got cast...

it's a play based on the "Ugly Duckling"

She will play the Mother Swan.....

:cool1: I HOPE IT DOESN'T GO TO HER HEAD...

but...I'm scarfing up her autographs....just in case....

The devil went down to Georgia...

good!

my work here is finished....post #666 is nothing but a memory...

 Hey stranger!!!!!

I am so sorry for your losses and happy for your pending successes!!!

TIGGERWANNABE! :rose:

Thank you. The saddest parts of both losses was how quick they went....

as to my stories....here's a story about my stories...

I sent them to ...can I say the name here?

uhmmm....YENSID (think:fantasia)

They sent them back....after about 4 months....with a letter from a VP in the legal department....

the letter said hat they were returned unread and uncopied...so as not to have "creative conflicts"....

creative conflicts?

Publish them or make a movie! creative conflicts my an butt!

of course...that is my BIASED opinion..... :)

Keep trying with those books...if YENSID won't take em there are lots more out there that may~

I am taking an entertainment management class (got laid off and took the opp to go back to school.) The whole premise is how to get into the business from any angle-manager, agent, actor, personality, publisher, director....

we are only in the third week, by the end of May I may be able to help get those stories out there for you~

Sorry to hear you got laid off....

happy to hear you are going to school...

hoping to hear you are under a TAA TRA program.....

but yes...finish up and we'll do business.....

we'll need to talk percentages....and I'm a lousy negotiator....

so...how does 8% and all the squirrel mcnuggets your freezer can hold sound?

don't be hasty.......

:confused3 TAA TRA???

I will be graduating in May with an Associate of Science in Business Adminstration Degree :woohoo:

I'll take that 8% and the squirrel mcnuggets ::yes::

Hubby's a great cook, he can probably make an awesome chili out of em~

let me explain my short absence from earlier today...

ya know....I was sitting here....minding my business....looking at my toe....

when all of the sudden....I got this urge to juggle something....

of course...PA still has DO NOT JUGGLE taped to every darn thing worthy of being juggled....

so...I looked around....

lo & behold!

I see a pair of her gloves tucked into one another...#1!

I looked around some more..

lo & behold!

I see the matching hat...a twist here..a turn there and voila! #2!

so...i look around....

lo and behold!

the matchiing scarf! a granny knot here...a grannny knot there...PRESTO! #3!

well...wouldn't you know it....

someone decides they need to go to the store!

and for what I politely ask.....

"tape and a red sharpie" was the reply....

some people are just not as entertainable as others....

HARUMPH!

TAA TRA = Training Assistance Act...sometimes referred to as the Training Readjustment Act.....

Allows an extension of UP TO a year and a half on U/C benefits as long as the person is enrolled in an accredited course in an accredited school ...and pays for the school....

your job status would have had to be affected by foreign competition though.....

I am a walking fountain of mostly useless information.... :)

aaaaaah! I counter your aceeptance of 8% with my new offer of 10% and the nuggets....AND! (please sit down for this)

SQUIRREL PELT SOCKS!

and matching too!

no red squirrel left sock and a grey squirrel right sock for a friend-o-mine!

Friday in Lent.

PA has just informed me we are going out for Lake Erie Perch later.

cool with me....

psst...I will be watching to see if the tape will show on her gloves, hat and scarf when we go out....

if the tape shows...i'm keeping mum about it....

pssst...going to go move the tape now.so it shows...SSSHHHHH.....

The State of NJ pays for up to 30 college credits for those who were let go due to downsizing or layoff. I only needed 7 to finish. NJUI also continues to pay me my weekly benefits after my 26 weeks are up, until I finish, if I take a full courseload (12 credits.) I signed up for 13~hence the entertainment management class. I also signed up for Graphic Design. I have dabbled and am self taught on GD programs, this class gives me the official training on what I already like to do- BONUS!

My required classes are a science with a Lab (I chose Chemistry) and Macroeconomics. I really like my chemistry teacher-he's REALLY easy to follow. Science was a weak point for me in high school.

Hey DU and Aisling, if you're out there....either of you know a Leon Hageman? I was listening to him talk in class yesterday and noticed his accent is pure NY. Iread his bio in our textbook and saw that he went to Long Island U. I know it's a long shot that you know him, just thought I'd ask~

seems I am unattended!

OH! sweet mystery of life...I adore you...

speaking of sweet mysteries of life.....

we will celebrate 36 years of wedded bliss one day next week...

who'd a-thunk it?

seems like only yesterday I was juggling our wedding presents.....

:lmao:

It's REALLY good to have you back Brer_Papa!

May I counter that counter with a matching pair for hubby too?
