Wow, have I been gone that long.....took me forever to catch up and my backside is sore!!

First went to Disney with older sis and two nephews 10yo (twins) last week for 2 days. Had a good time. It is different when you go with kids vs just the sisters. Anyways next week off to Disney with all!!! (Both sisters, sisters kids and my one DS) its a one day trip. But this will be my third trip this month. DH doesn't get it!!

Cally keep the $$, and shame on them!!

This young man took 2 months of paternity leave at the beginning of the year which was fine with us. He told our shop foreman (who is also his uncle) that he took the leave so that we would see how valuable an employee he is Unfortunately for him, he was hardly missed while he was away. Oops I guess his plan backfired on him...... why in the heck would you tell someone that and especially when you know the person you tell is in a position of authority

Rick said last night that he has had to "fire" hundreds of men in his career and it never gets any easier the more you do it. I don't envy him, that part of his job.

Oh no, we had one of these! He was "interesting" to work with! Wish Rick luck from us, it definately doesn't get any easier!

Cally, it's spring planting time in GA...what are we gonna add to the yard this year?

Robin, my nephew is being fired from our shop this week...the boss hasn't come right out and said it to him but he knows it's coming. I refuse to be the one to do it and I told the boss it's gotta come from him.

The ac trip was nice...but quick. We got there about 10:30 and were out by 1. I met with O'Neill and Emu while he met with Rusty, Alpine Stars and Ezekial. These shows are good only because we get to see the new clothing and shoe lines in person...the catalogs we have to order from, the pictures just don't cut it.

Betsy and Kim, any questions regarding your planning? Got your dining all lined up and Expedition Everest on your list of must sees?

My newest experience was Soarin during our last trip...you absolutely MUST fast pass that one. It's too quick a ride to stand in line for 90 minutes to see it.

Hey U! Any input to our newbie Mom who wants to homeschool her kid?

We have no real plans for tonight, I got alotta laundry to do...

Hubby and I have tickets to see CKY at the TLA in Philly next Friday night

Susan! You lucky girl you! 3 trips in one month!?!? That would be me if I lived as close as you do...to both Daytona and Orlando...I'm jealous.

I'm getting ready to pay for my NC trip next week and should know in a month or two if I'll make it to the TKer cruise...I have one more trip my daughter wants to do this summer to arrange before I'll know about January.

Kim's still on the fence like me because of her family trip. Hopefully she's still thinking about coming with...there's room in those cabins for one more.

6080 is definitely up front, we stayed in 6610 last trip. I'm cruious about that tho, I've been told you can feel the movement of the ship more up front than in the back...anyone stay near the bow before?

I did my marathon grocery shopping this morning, and I had to grab lunch and sit for a bit, so here I am.

Susan I'm so glad that you and SWHNN are going to be coming along on the TKER cruise with us. The more we have, the more fun it will be.

Cabin 6080 , Betsy's cabin is actually right close to the middle of the ship.

Our cabin is definitely nearer to the front, we are forward of the front elevators. We are in the exact same cabin that we cruised in this past January, a sideways category 11. We really didn't find a problem with the motion being up that far in the front. We really enjoyed the sideways cabin too, seemed more spacious than the other cat 11's we've been in.

Of course, I wouldn't turn down an upgrade if they offered it

Colleen, sorry to hear about your nephew getting fired. It's hard when it's family isn't it.

Our shop is made up entirely of family and friends(at least right now), so it is extra hard for us.

Our fired guy already found himself a new job, so I'm glad for him that he won't be out of work for long. He got hired by a company that we work for and with. Rick and the other guy have talked about him hiring our exworker and the new boss know what to expect and how to handle it. So hopefully things will work out in the end.

Rick was talking with another of our workers today, so maybe we will be down by another one by this afternoon. He wasn't planning on firing this guy, just hoping he will shape up a bit.

Both of our kids have been working at the shop this week, since there is no school due to the strike at the college. That way they can both earn a bit of money and heck, it's good for them
