Hi everyone!

Cally - get thyself to the doctors! It took me 10 days before my fever would go away. They prescribed these HORRIBLE anti-biotics that eventually made me feel better. I hope you feel better soon.

U, Bob & Cruisin - I HATE thunderstorms! I don't know why, but I'm a wimp! If it's too bad, you'll find me hiding under my desk!

TW - love the picture of Precious. Thanks for sharing it AND posting pics of your pins. I've seen the ones you carry - you do have a lot!

Disneyholic - Cool that you collect pins, too! Tinknutt has some - she wears them all the time! I'm going to get a lanyard to hold my annual pass, I guess I'll have to put pins on it.

Speaking of tinknutt - she just returned from 2 days at Disney.....jealous me! I had to work, but they had a good time!

Well, I worked at 12 hour day, so I'm tired....so I'm gonna sign off and catch up with ya'll tomorrow!

It has been an interesting past week!

1st: Messed my back up Tues... couldn't get into chiro until Fri

2nd: DS got sick Sat

3rd: DS & DD (even though he was sick, he's a real trooper) WON their soccer finals on Sun (DS came into 2nd for overall MVP for goalie)! Sorry to brag!

4th: DD got sick Mon, they are still pretty bad!

5th: I'm at work and I forgot to put on deodorant! EWWWW!!! I never forget that!

today would be the fourth day and i just can't break it.... I guess I have to see the doctor

Wow sounds like you had an eventful week last week.

You couldn't get into the chiropractor for 3 days Is that normal? We can usually (99.9% of the time) get in to see ours the same day that we call. It's not that he isn't busy either because he always seems to be running

I hope all you sickies start to feel better soon and keep it to yourselves. I really don't want or need it, thanks anyways

I was stalled for quite a while...then boom its gone...I cant figure it out ...Ill be really bad and eat alot and the next day Ill have lost a lb.......or Ill eat all the right stuff and count the points and Ill gain .... ....

Anyway Im ending up in the right direction so Im not going to complain

I, too, have seemed to plateau. Actually, I think I've gained 3 lbs since the new year. I'm setting a new goal for 10 lbs for the cruise. I could stand to lose more but I like to reward myself for reaching a goal, so I set them lower!!

I LOVE the feeling of getting my eyebrows waxed! It doesn't hurt, it just feels good. Yes, it's weird, but I prefer to think of it as "the magic that is me!"

I have two cats here.

Subway is going on 14 years old. He technically belongs to the neighbours but he has been living at our hourse for over 10 years. The neighbours like to think he still belongs with them but we think of him as ours. He comes into our house and lives here just like our own cat. I even take him to the vet because the neighbours just do not care/bother He's a sweetheart and we all love him alot.

Mischief just turned 3 in November. She's a little devil cat but soooo cute It's a good thing she is cute because she has some bad habits, like wanting to scratch furniture But she's lots of fun.

We have a kitty too. Her name is Howie and she's about 4 months old. We really aren't usually cat people but there's just something about Howie....she pays attention to everyone and anyone who will pay attention to her. She keeps up in stitches with all her antics, she even picks on our yellow lab...he just tolerates her.

We thought our Lab was on his way to doggie heaven. He had a few days he didn't eat well, he was limping and fussing and carying on anytime anyone would touch his front shoulder or if he layed on his side. We were headed to the vets by the second day of this and he started to feel better. Maybe when he hears vet, it's like when kids hear dentist!! Two days later he's better than ever!!

It's windy and chilly and so totally unlike yesterday that I don't want to do anything at all.

Well, I did clean up a few kitchen cabinets.... you know.... go through and throw out those almost empty packages of things that nobody wants to finish.

Hey everyone!

Thanks for all the well wishes.. I'm still sick with a fever. I did go to the doctor though. Got some antibiotics and cough syrup with codeine and motrin for the fever.

But just let me tell ya how screwed up the base hospital is. So we drive up there but we have to call appt central before we can just walk in without an appt. The lady says they don't have any openings for the day and that she will have a nurse call us back. Uh, hello??? I'm sick with the fever going on 5 days now.. I would like some relief... Nope nothing they can do. I could be dieing and they don't care!!

So hubby goes in and sees the flight doctor. See since hubby flys he has to see a different doctor they call flight doctors. So he goes in and asks the flight doctor if he can see me and perscribe some meds. And the doc says sure bring her in. So there you go.. I go see the flight doctor and in less then 10mins I'm set to pick up my meds!!!

How messed up is that?? Oh well, I'm glad we got it taken care of and I hope these meds kick in... I'm still hot, cold, sweaty, chilly, sore...

Oh one good thing did happen to me over the weekend ... I got my rings!!!

I think I'm actually starting to feel better!! I'm not dizzy anymore

Elijah came over yesterday but hubby watched him while I stayed in bed. Hubby has Mondays off so it worked out ok. But if you think about it, Elijah's mom works with Hubby which means she has Mondays off too but she will leave him here til 430/500. Oh well....today I called her and told her I wouldn't be able to watch him because I was sick. He will come tomorrow though because both his parents do not have any more leave left and they can't take off from work. Good thing I'm feeling better

Our spring break is next week....I don't know if I'm looking forward to it or not.

Oh Colleen I meant to ask you..about when do the lillies start to bloom? Can't wait for them to start blooming...

Cally, I think you mean Irises

When the daffodils are finishing their bloom your irises should start budding.

The flowers come out of the middle of the blades (leaves.) Your iris blades should be about 3 to 4 inches tall already and bloom when they reach 6 to 8.

Robin, do you have snowbells?

When you said you had white stars coming up I went outside and saw my snowbells were all blooming.

I'm having allergy issues again so I'm headed into a hot bath...

Cally - Sorry to hear getting to the doc was such a pain! Glad to hear your feeling slightly better though. Did I tell you enough that Im still jealous about your rings???? lol

Wow today has been a crazy day! I went to my doctors for an ultrasound and found out Im like a week or more ahead of where I should be. So instead of being 6 1/2 weeks im measuring 7 1/2 to 8 weeks. No big deal just a change in due date but still threw me for a loop. I was expecting to see a really tiny speck on the screen not something I could sort of make out! Thankfully though Ive been released to go onto my OB so I have an appointment on Monday, which I will be getting another ultrasound at . Anyways figured I would show off my pic..
